Remodeled In-Town Lewes

Located right down the street from the Lewes Historical Society's Complex, this two story home has all of the comforts for your stay. Recently remodeled, the large and open living space feeds into the kitchen and dining area allowing for a gathering for dinner or hanging out working on a puzzle. The screened porch off of the dining area will be your favorite place to lounge with a cup of coffee in the morning. The first floor also has a full bathroom and a bedroom with a daybed and TV.

The second floor features an additional three bedrooms and one full bathroom. A large sundeck, off of the back bedroom, is a great spot to work on your tan.

An easy walk into town for some shopping, dining or ice cream from King's. This home is in the perfect location!

All guests must supply their own sheets, towels and beach towels or OPT in for our linen rental package.

Guests must choose to purchase a $70 Vacation Rental Damage Insurance policy covering $3,000.00 in accidental damage, or pay a refundable security deposit of $2,000.00. Policies of a lesser amount are not acceptable. This amount will not be reflected in the quote amount on VRBO.

The property must be occupied for the entire rental period by the Guest signing the Lodging Agreement (Responsible Guest), and all occupants of the Property shall be supervised by the Responsible Guest. The Responsible Guest must be at least 25 years of age. If the party is made up of unrelated individuals (a group rental where the Responsible Guest is NOT the legal guardian/parent of any other guests), ALL guests occupying the property must be at least 25 years of age.

We accept Mastercard, Visa, American Express and Discover Credit Cards and eChecks for your initial deposit. We also accept personal checks for final payments. Final payments are due 30 days prior to your check-in date. NOTE: Any payments within 30 days of arrival require to be in certified funds or by credit card. You will be provided a link to a Guest Portal where you can securely make your payments online.

VRBO BOOKINGS: This property is hosted by the management company noted as Owner on VRBO. After booking the property you will be charged a booking fee by VRBO. ALL other fees and the rental amount will be charged by the management company and paid to the management company. Once you have booked you will be contacted by the management company and sent a Lodging Agreement that must be signed. Apart from Damage Protection, all fees associated with the booking are displayed in the VRBO booking.

Charming spot in a great location

Just two short blocks from the main drag and an easy walk to the canal, this charming house was everything the listing promised. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking, it was very clean upon check in, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Great sister’s vacation house!

The location is perfect for walking, shopping and dining. The only time we used our car was to go to Cape Henlopen. It is also close to the bike trails.

Perfect for our summer vacation!

Really enjoyed our stay. It was convenient to everything we wanted to do and we were very comfortable during our stay. The screened in patio was a plus as we had some of our meals out there as well as my son was able to hang out back there and play with his toys. The neighborhood is very quiet and everyone we encountered was very friendly.

Beach week in Lewes

Love this adorable house in the Historic District of Lewes. Very clean, comfortable and cheerful! Especially enjoyed the screened porch and rooftop deck. Ample room for a family of four and two dogs. Easy walk to restaurants and shops. Driving to various beaches took minutes! Lewes is a beautiful town!

Perfect Location - Walk to Town

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The home is ideally situated so you can walk to town which was perfect for us. The home is a good size. We brought our dog (for an extra fee) and she was very happy. There is plenty of room for 5 adults and 2 kids. Mattresses are not comfortable. Ceiling fans were great as well as the screened in porch. Smoke alarm went off several times. Management came to fix it almost immediately! We like working with Berkshire Hathaway.

We had a couple of problems with appliances. The dishwasher was out of order so we had to wash all of our dishes. Most of the time, the dryer made a loud scraping noise when operating although occasionally it didn't. A repair man was called who agreed that both appliances needed repair, but this could not be done during our stay. The owner allows pets which was a necessity for us. Presuming the house has functional appliances, it is a nice place to stay while in Lewes.

The house is a stone’s throw to public tennis/basketball courts and walking distance to the farmer’s market. The only downside was that the upstairs tended to warm and the upstairs remote controlled lights/fans seemed to control two rooms at once.

Very clean and nice place in a wonderful neighborhood

This is a great property. We spent 9 nights here with our out-of-town family. There were 6 of us total. The neighbors we encountered were wonderful. Being within walking distance of shops and food was great. We love Lloyd's Market. For those with sensitive noses, this property gets 5 our of 5 stars from our family of sensitive noses. Very clean and everyone was comfortable. No strong fragrances in the house. The inside was spotless and very well cared for. Our only issue the entire week was that on arrival (in late April), the furniture and floor of the screened porch were covered with tree pollen. After a bit of clean-up, we were set, but it would have been better if the porch space was cleaned before our stay also.We observed surveyors in the lot next door (April, 2025). Not 100% sure they were preparing for construction. However, It might be worth checking to be sure there will not be active construction during your stay if you are looking for the peace and quiet we enjoyed during our stay.

Wonderful, peaceful place

We feel so lucky to have found this wonderful house. It was perfect for our family, which includes two teenagers and a dog. We could really spread out as there were multiple common spaces, including a large screened-in porch, a roof deck, and the open concept kitchen/living room. It’s sometimes hard to find a nice place that also accepts dogs - this place was not only lovely but pristine! The kitchen was also very well equipped for people - like us - who like to cook. And the location was just right: on a quiet street away from the hustle bustle of beach life, but just a short walk to shops, restaurants, parks, and the Lewes farmer’s market. A longer stroll or bike ride took us to the Bay Beach and Cape Henlopen. We walked through town down to Two Dips Ice Cream several evenings for ice cream & sunset views. Felt like a home away from home. We would love to return!

Family gathering

Fantastic location, I did not read the reviews properly and there were no sheets and towels provided, without paying for this service. You had to make beds, strip, beds and empty dishwasher, clean grill, which was dirty when we arrived, I felt like it was a lot of money for the effort. No shampoo or wine glasses, limited utensils and cooking supplies. Lots of Kleenex, limited toliet paper. There were three rolls of TP for 4 bedrooms. Not OK

Perfect spot for a stay in Lewes

House was great and yes, the porch was everyone's favorite spot! The house provided everything we needed including some thoughtful touches. Wonderful to have found a pet friendly vacation rental. Great walk in a beautiful area to everything we love about Lewes. Our stay coincided with an unseasonably warm week that had us outdoors far more than expected. The management team was put to the test by needing to turn the water on (to the outdoor shower), then get it fixed (as pipes had burst over the winter). Communication was great and the maintenance folks were efficient and curteous. This house is managed by a real estate company so we had to stop at the office to obtain keys and such - less convenient than what I am used to with VRBO and remote entry. But not a problem once I found the office.

Wonderful location

Historic Lewes is such a great area and this house was in the perfect location. Screened in porch was fantastic and when it became too shady we were able to move up to the deck off the upstairs bedroom. The upper deck chairs are in desperate need of a good cleaning but it didn’t take away much from our enjoyment. The kitchen is fully stocked but would benefit from an organization and a full set of measuring cups. We were VERY disappointed that the owner neglected to fill the propane for the fireplace as it would have been lovely on the chilly evenings. Other than getting locked out of the house due to a (2 year) malfunctioning lock set, everything was great. A bright, comfortable, roomy house that was (almost) perfect for 2 senior couples and a small dog. Thanks 😊

Newly Renovated in Downtown Lewes

The kitchen was well-equipped and it was nice to have a driveway so that we didn't need to worry about offsite parking.The things I would note were that the living room furniture wasa bit small and not very comfortable. The pillows were all flat (couch and beds alike). We likely should have packed our own but didn't think of it. I will also say I wished that the linen service included them making the beds because after a long day of travel, it was a lot needing to make up 5 beds. The only other thing I might suggest would be curtains or something to block out the morning sunlight. There were blinds but the morning light comes peeking right through making it hard to sleep in.Overall a great stay and I'm not trying to be negative, hoping to just provide some constructive feedback. Thanks again for a wonderful week!

Area is lovely to walk in, quiet, clean, safe. Easy on street parking. Beach is a brief 1.5 miles away easily reached by car or bike. To get a parking spot arrive by 10 AM but you can drive and jitney folks with ease. Biking is safe and manageable even for seniors like me. Car traffic respects cyclists and the route into Henlopen is very accessible.House has three bedrooms and one bath upstairs. The stairs number 20 so require some effort for the less spry. Kitchen very serviceable with everything you need for a week of cooking. The back porch is screened and very comfortable with two couches and multiple chairs. Quite relaxing and welcoming. So the property worked extremely well for our party of five adults and to two young adults...three generations s.The one consideration to be aware of is that transit to Rehoboth/Dewey is problematic. The traffic on Coastal Highway is honorific unless you go before 9 am or after 7. That’s just the reality for any rental in Lewes. But there is plenty to keep you occupied in Lewes.

Mostly great

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We love Lewes and have rented with Berkshire Hathaway for several years. This is our second rental of this property. We love the location in town, off street parking, the screened porch, outside shower and garage for bikes, etc. The house was not as clean as it was last year and the furnishings could use a little freshening up. The many ceiling fans were a plus but the remotes were not synched with the fans. The house is in a lovely neighborhood but could use some TLC with the landscaping, adding some perennial flowers. I was also disappointed that my security deposit was not returned promptly. Last year, it was returned within a week of our departure but it is now three weeks later and I have not received my deposit. I would encourage the owner to give a little attention to the property and I would recommend it to other renters who like a 10 minute walk to downtown.

We have stayed at various homes over the years and have walked past this home innumerable times. The first floors has a nice open layout that opens right into the screened in porch. The second floor has three bedrooms all of a nice size and a shared bathroom. All are very nice. The largest bedroom has a door to a deck. The reality is that we did not really use this deck it was pretty hot while we were there and there is no shade up there and it was too hot.Now the negative. There is a bedroom on the first floor. We brought my 85 y/o mother with us think she could use this bedroom, but has a day bed that was too high for her to get in to and she used a bedroom upstairs. Also, the bathroom has a step up bathtub and not a walk in shower. When thinking about accessibility, it would be nice to have a walk in shower and a lower bed. We also had an issue with the ceiling fans. The fans in two of the bedrooms upstairs are identical and the remotes were not set up correctly and the remotes worked for both fans. We could also not get the fans in the porch to work properly, again something with the remotes I think. Keep in mind, this did not diminish our stay and we would stay in this house again.Also, you have access to the garage and bikes and beach chairs. We had our own and were able to store our bikes and chairs in the garage.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had a great stay at 315 Park. Loved the screened-in porch, the roof deck and the easy walk to town. The house is very quiet, the garage was a perfect space for beach/bike gear and 6 adults were very comfortable. Definitely recommend!
