Updated and modernized condo located 3 blocks to the ferry. Walk to restaurants, shopping, entertainment, ferries, harbor, airport and much much more. Master suite features a fireplace and sitting area. King size bed includes a purple 2 mattress with adjustable back, adjustable leg and massage features built in. Open floor plan concept in the family room and gourmet kitchen area which includes additional fireplace, dining area, workspace area, built in full bed and sitting area to name a few. Big green egg grill on the deck for the grill master!

Cozy place, great location

Perfect spot for waking to shops, restaurants and ferry. Cozy, very accommodating.

Great location and home base in Friday harbor

Fantastic place and home base on Friday Harbor. Place is spotless and convenient walk to everything. Check in details were a bit sparse, but once I sent a message requesting info, all was good! Thanks!

Not as advertised and needs multiple fixes

Great downtown location, spacious and quiet with dedicated parking space. Not as advertised, however, and appeared to be a work in progress. (Please note that there were 2 adults staying here and we took documenting photos of the following.) Bedroom: • Owner advertised two sets of smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors in the unit. In the bedroom, the smoke alarm was hanging from the ceiling with no battery. Carbon monoxide detector was not working. • Owner advertised 2 beds that sleep 4. There is a bed for two people but the couch is too small for two people. Couch was also stained and dirty. • There are three windows. The one next to the bed is the only one without blinds. Although the window is frosted, it’s not enough to filter light from a nearby street light. • No dresser or other furniture with a drawer so we lived out of suitcases. Closet had room to hang clothes but there were not enough coat hangers. Closet very full of owner’s property. • Fireplace wiring was visible and fireplace top itself was still being renovated. • Two sets of track lighting with lights not installed in one. • Missing light switch plate. / Kitchen: • Owner advertised fire extinguisher in kitchen. There is none in the unit. • Owner advertised ice maker but there isn’t one. We purchased two ice trays and left them in the unit for future renters. • Owner advertised dishes and utensils for kids. There were none. • Minimally stocked compared to other VRBO properties. We didn’t have needed items including food storage containers, microwaveable dishes with lids, measuring cups/spoons and wine opener. Living room: • There is seating for 3 people so it would be cramped with a 4th person. • Chair stained and dirty. Couch slipcover covered with lint. Bathroom: • One of two glass shelves was not installed and laying against a wall. Finally, VRBO emailed us that check-in information was available but it wasn't. We had to contact owner.

Great spot in the middle of the action

This is an excellent property with communicative owners. Large king bed in bedroom comfortable. Sleeping situation in living room is two singles. Area is quite loud in mornings with construction and traffic, but also right in the middle of everything so it’s a good trade-off.

Great location—perfect for two

Cute, clean, spacious and well appointed. The location was perfect. If this unit was advertised as “sleeps 2” I would have zero complaints. It may sleep two additional children, but not 4 adults. The main bed was very large and comfortable, but the additional sleeping spaces were cramped. Other than that, it was a wonderful experience. We were walking distance to all shops, restaurants and the grocery store in Friday Harbor. We had a rental car (a parking space was provided with the rental) and could reach anywhere on the island within 10 to 20 minutes.

Friends gathering in Friday Harbor

Great location and space. It allowed us to gather our friends for simple meals and drinks. Easy walk to the harbor, shops and restaurants. I’d pick it again for our next visit to San Juan Island.

Property was great. Communication with the cleaners was interesting. They left a roll of toilet paper with 6 squares on it and no back up. We notified them within 1 hour of being at the condo. (5:00pm). We kindly asked for another roll of toilet paper for the next day delivery. Never received it. On checking out we mentioned the nondelivery of toilet paper and it was not acknowledged. Just said Thank you and safe travels.

A guitar for every room - you know you are going to have a great stay!

When you walk in and see a guitar hanging on the wall as you walk in, you know you are off to great start for your stay! We enjoyed staying at this very cozy apartment. There were some notable nice touches that we both enjoyed: First, the GUITARS! How can you go wrong having a guitar in each room to admire. The faucet in the tub: I know, this isn't something to usually write home about, but the faucet in the tub was really cool! It was a wedge and delivered a band of water... made taking a bath a little more relaxing and enjoyable. The Jenn-Air Stove. Nice quality stove that worked well and made cooking easy and fun. The kitchen was stocked with the right amount of glass ware and nice dishes....and the knives were not duller than a butter knife (Henkels) that we experience in most places. The bed was comfortable and comforter was really nice! The outside deck, though small, provided a nice way to get outside and the Green Egg was perfect for our prawns (Yumm!) The view of the other roofs was not as pleasing, but we spent most of our time outside the apartment anyways.. and those views were SPECTACULAR! Located right downtown, about 4 blocks from the ferry terminal and we had a great time exploring the island on our bikes! Thanks for helping make our respite a little better!

Comfortable and bright

The space was larger than expected and very comfortable with skylights throughout, a spacious and well appointed bathroom and new kitchen. Recommended for a stay of any length in Friday Harbor.

A comfy place to stay

Overall, the unit met or exceeded our needs. The kitchen and bathroom, especially, and we appreciated the laundry room, as well. The Purple mattress and pillows were great. The only downsides were the lack of window coverings, which made sleeping in impossible and some incomplete finish work following renovations. Just a few more improvements and it would get 5 stars.

Great Location

Place was great, very clean and perfect location. Having stayed on a record heat weekend, a fan would have been nice as the unit, with all its skylights got VERY warm but overall a great place to stay!
