We enjoyed our stay! Comfortable beds, great location- we walked everywhere! Great restaurant options for breakfast, lunch, and dinner! We enjoyed to whale museum, whale watching, saw eagles and fox family when we drove to the southern park of the island!

Great location

Pe felt location to walk off the ferry and to the apartment. Lots of restaurants and shops within the block. Was perfect for our family of four.

Extension of stay

We needed an extra day to round out our visit and the Sunshine House fit the bill. Convenient location in town and suited our needs perfectly. Comfortable beds, all the amenities we needed, and generally quiet until the next morning when the garbage truck (6am) and lawn service (7 am) arrived. nexnmomoninmorning

Short but Sweet Stay

The accommodations were perfect! Communication with Tucker House were top notch. We will stay there again. We did arrive in the evening and it was dark and had a little trouble finding the entrance but finally did and it was totally worth it. Thanks for a great stay!

This unit has a fantastic location 5 minutes' walk from the ferry, While the room layout is, let's say, quirky, everything worked well and we came to enjoy the colors and location very much. When we extended a day, we moved to another suite even nicer, The manager was very helpful in all this, a delightful change from the initial contact when we arrived.Recommended.

Time off

Apartment was great, it had everything we need and was as described. We had ideal weather, apartment was hot in afternoon, but we were rarely home. If temps get into 80's or higher, lack of air conditioning could be an issue.

mixed messages and not great for families with small children

Great location, very clean and comfortable.Chief complaints: 1. Not kid friendly - the restaurant downstairs knocked on our door around 7pm letting us know that our kids were being too noisy. They were running back and forth between the rooms, not yelling. Also not pictured there is a steep stairway off the area with the two beds.2. Misleading - the listing says fully stocked kitchen. There was no coffee, salt or olive oil.3. Mixed messages. They called us before check in and mentioned a concierge service. They also texted and mentioned breakfast. I called our first morning there to possibly take them up on that since there was no coffee in the unit. They let me know that since our unit wasn't a BnB, we weren't eligible for conceirge service. I told them the listing said fully stocked kitchen and they asked me to email them about it, which I did. Never heard back.

Eliza, Thank you for staying with us and sharing about your stay. The Sunshine Suite is located above the Coho Restaurant, an intimate fine dining restaurant with 9 tables. We ask guests to be considerate of others in the building whether it is the vacation rental guests above or the restaurant team below. We understand your children needed to blow off steam after traveling, but for our diners, it sounded like a herd of elephants running back and forth. If your children needed to run around, Sunken Park, a block away has a playground and grassy knoll where they can play freely. Our team is always happy to assist guests with their travel plans and answer questions about the ferry, things to do and restaurant recommendations. When you called and asked about the fully stocked kitchen, our team was very clear that there are pots and pans and linens but no food. There's a grocery store a block away and many coffee shops in the neighborhood. We also discussed that we are unable to provide breakfast to the vacation rental even with an additional fee. We try to be very clear with our communications differentiating the amenities of our bed and breakfast and the vacation rental. Best, Anna Maria

Great condo above restaurant--excellent location

Loved the location. Downtown Friday Harbor--close to everything and adjacent to Saturday Market. Condo itself was fine but not perfect and not a good value in our opinion. I think you are paying for the location more than anything else. Felt misinformed because while the heading says 1 bedroom, the details says 2 bedroom 2 bath. It is a 1 bedroom 1 1/2 bath unit. So somewhat disappointed. Also, could use some deep cleaning. Also lacked adequate kitchen equip such as only one coffee mug and two mini mugs. Insufficient for a place that advertises sleeps 6. And said mug was dirty! Also housekeeping left clothes in wash machine. Seemed lack of attention to detail....towel rack falling off, etc. At $300 plus avg per night when all tallied, seems like should be a little nicer.

Funky Apartment

Our family was in town for a wedding and got to stay at this fun unit located in the center of town and right off the ferry exit. We loved being able to look out into the town from the front (back?) balcony and be within walking distance of all the fun stores, restaurants and open market. We would definitely come back!
