Perfect stay!

The owners went out of their way to make sure we had a great time. The house is luxurious, beautifully decorated. Kitchen is well equipped, on top of basic appliances there is an ice cream maker, toaster oven and many more. The pool was absolutely beautiful and our kids had a blast while my husband and I spent days relaxing in the lanai area enjoying the breath taking view of the Caloosahatchee River. Thank you for letting us stay at your home.

Hidden Gem

The relaxing and peaceful atmosphere that is found within this property truly cannot be matched. From the moment we arrived, to the moment we left, the hosts went out of their way in order to provide us with an extraordinary experience. There were so many thoughtful touches that were provided by the hosts; for example, being greeted with a welcome basket of snacks/wine, and small pool tools for our grandchildren. We were treated so nicely during our entire stay. The amenities that are available within the house are outstanding. Beginning with the living room, the couches are comfortable and spacious. They provided us with more than enough seating for all of our guests. The television within this room is easy to use, large and adds to the great entertainment space. The kitchen is a chef’s dream; two full refrigerators, blender, fantastic oven and stove, and numerous utensils and spices. There is also a convenient Keurig, which is great making a cup of coffee in the morning before going out to the lanai to relax! Connected to the kitchen is also a utility room with washer and dryer—easy to use, and so convenient. The dining area is well lit with a great table that has plenty of seating options. There is a fantastic window located within this area that overlooks the river; beautiful to watch the sunset from this room. There is also a desk available in a small sitting area adjacent to the dining room; this is a great option for anyone who needs to “work from home” on vacation, and this area also has a fabulous window that provides beautiful views and a door to the lanai. The lanai—what a perfect area to enjoy the peaceful sounds of the river and nature. A plethora of seating options are provided (along with another television) and a pool that is absolutely wonderful for small children and adults alike. The hot tub is comfortable, easy to use, and easily to get to from the fabulous tiki bar that’s located in the backyard! We couldn’t have asked for more from the bedrooms. The master bedroom is so calming and luxurious, with a wonderful bed, beautiful fireplace and sitting area, and a truly magnificent bathroom.! THe house is located nicely for families interested in relaxing around Fort Myers. Manatee Park is a short drive away; there are stores within a few miles, and downtown Fort Myers is very easy to access. We cannot speak highly enough about staying at this house, and cannot wait to go back as soon as possible!

Wonderful Time

We had a great stay at this property. The owners, Lanson & Allison went out of their way to provide guests with everything we could possibly want. The pool was gorgeous and warm. The water view was exceptional and the kids enjoyed seeing dolphins and Manatees swimming in the river just 20 feet from the lawn. The home is well appointed, well maintained and everything, such as the ice makers and gas fire pit worked well. We would definitely stay again!

Surprise at the end of the lane!

It is a twisty turning road that brings you to this amazing little piece of vacation at the end of the lane. This property has been well cared for and well thought out. Every amenity you can imagine has been created for you. From distilled water at the tap, to an oven that is also an air fryer! The master bedroom has a sleep number bed and plenty of closet space. There was an office space that looked out over the river that included a printer. Our dog was made to feel quite welcome, they even had crates in the garage in case we needed one. Whenever we had a question, the owners were quick to respond and came to the house to help us. We loved this place and would definitely rent again..

Awesome View and Pool

Great home for a relaxing vacation! We loved the pool, the view is awesome, the home is very comfortable, clean, and perfect. Kayaks were an extra bonus!

I just retired from the U.S. Air Force after spending a lifetime (38 years) in the military. I flew KC-135s all over the world. My wife is also retired out of the Air Force, having finished her career as a flight nurse. We had the fantastic good fortune to just stumble upon this house a year ago. Over the past year, we have completely remodeled the house. New doors, new windows, new kitchen appliances, completely renovated bathrooms. There is nothing here that we haven't made vast improvements to.
I have been remodeling houses since my parents had me laying an oak parquet floor at age 10. I have put a year of blood, sweat, and tears into this place making it as awesome as it can possibly be.

Location, location, location. Just down the street from downtown Fort Myers, this house has all the urban access you could want while allowing you to feel like you are out in the wilderness. There is protected land on the other side of the street, the islands in front of the house are completely undeveloped, and the land on the far shore is a state park. You get to look out over a landscape that hasn't changed since Ponce De Leon was hear searching for the fountain of youth.

You get your own private pool, hot tub, gym, and a master bath that is nicer than the finest spa. This house pampers you like you have never experienced before. I pinch myself every day. I can't believe that I have such a wonderful place, and now you have the opportunity to enjoy this slice of paradise. Seriously, this place is absolutely fantastic.
