If you like a calming relaxing getaway this is the place for you. This place cannot hold parties, or get togethers of any kind. (If you like your music loud and late nights, then this place isn’t a good fit for that.) Your unit is in a building with other commercial space and other tenants.
There should be no kids under 12 years

The only people in the place should be you and the 1 guest you bring.

No pets.

No parties no get togethers.
And no noise after 10pm.

There are also cameras all around the outside of the building and car port. Also the outside entrances.

Came home to visit family

My mom was nice enough to get this spot for me and my boyfriend for a long weekend. I came home from California to see my nieces graduate, and brought the boyfriend home to meet family and see DC! The space was clean just didn’t seem “lived in” and it was cozy, but there were a ton of spiders where we were supposed to eat (I would have vacuumed them all up myself but I wasn’t opening any doors looking for a vacuum after seeing all of the spiders) and it took two days to have someone come and clean them out. We mostly stayed in the bedroom. The bed was a sleep number which was cool! But it was loud every time we moved. I love Old Town Occoquan so the location was great, right on the river. It’s right on top of an art gallery and next to the shops and restaurants.

Short and sweet

Even though there were no bells and whistles to this spot, it was perfect for occoquan. The location provides an awesome view to the river and it's centered right in the heart of town. Cobb was very responsive and super accommodating, ready to help with any questions we had. Would definitely stay there again or anywhere Cobb is hosting. Thank you!

Charming place and location

Our stay was truly delightful. The accommodations were charming and spacious, offering every amenity we could possibly need for a comfortable visit. The views from our room were absolutely breathtaking, allowing us to appreciate the surrounding scenery in all its glory. Additionally, the location was perfect—conveniently situated near local attractions and dining options, making our exploration easy and enjoyable. We had such a wonderful experience that we are already looking forward to our next visit!

Occoquan visit

Property was as listed. Only issue was water pressure in the bathroom sink. Water came out as a drizzle. Informed host and they thanked me for letting them know and said they’d get it fixed. It’s definitely a beautiful setting right in the Occoquan river. I’m originally from northern Virginia which is why I picked Occoquan as a place to stay. Very convenient to almost everything. Definitely recommend this place to anyone that wants a quaint place to stay. Occoquan is full of history and there’s plenty of history very close by.

River get away

The apartment was perfect for 2 or 3. Beautiful scene of the river. The shower was fine. There is only one sink and that would be the bathroom. Water pressure was very low, and the sink "stopper" was not opening - the handle was broken. The host was notified. That was the only problem. The town was nice. Many places to eat. Madigan's was great-and on the waterfront.

Quaint & Comfortable Stay!

This apartment was perfect for us while visiting family in Silver Spring, Arlington, & DC. We loved the quaint little town of Occoquan with the beautiful river, park, great shopping & restaurants. However, beware … most of the businesses are closed on Monday & the eateries close early. Our accommodations were exceptionally clean, offered a convienent check-in, & stood above a great little chocolate store! We will be back!!

Location!

The apartment is excellent for 2 people. Many restaurants and bars within easy walking. Paddle boarding and kayaking on the river is great. If shopping is your thing, many unique shops to explore. Parks for hiking are within a few minutes drive. Been coming back for a few years now’s d will keep visiting!

Love this place!

We’ve stayed at a few different rental places in Occoquan and this was by far the nicest with an incredible view! Reasonably priced, walking to everything, and a clean, comfortable place to stay. We couldn’t have asked for anything more.

Amazing View

We loved staying at Harry/Ann’s place! The view of the river is fantastic and the porch and outdoor area is lovely to hang out on. The rooms inside were clean and quaint, and loved how bright and sunny it got during the daytime. We would recommend bringing your own towels, the ones provided were too small for our taste. It’s definitely a shared building and there is some noise from upstairs. Light sleepers may want to bring earplugs.

Nice place

The place was very clean which is important to me it was really nice inside. Sitting on the deck in the morning having our coffee with the view of the river so peaceful. Mill street has so many restaurants and shops and the historical buildings it was beautiful. We will definitely visit again thank you Christina for a wonderful place to stay . Also cannot forget the chocolate shop in the front the chocolate is amazing and the owner was very entertaining.

Beautiful view

Would recommend this property to anyone. Just needed a kitchen sink to be perfect. The balcony overlooked the river. The rooms were decorated beautifully. Will definitely use them again!

Nice place for individual

This place served as a perfect home base for me as a solo visitor when I was in the area for an event. Christine made the check in process easy with the videos she provided. The dedicated parking spot under the building was convenient. I loved the back deck too!

This property is in the heart of Occoquan and also has a great view of the river. To explore Old town and also the bird sanctuary it is settled on. The buildings date back to the early 1800s gives you that small town feel.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

We are pretty close to the Northern Virginia areas. When driving: We are about 2.2 miles away from I-95, From that point there is about 26miles of a drive to D.C., about 17 mile drive to Quantico Marine Corps Base, and a 13 mile drive to Fort Belvior.
If you choose to use the to take the metro: It is a 12 mile drive via car or Uber to the Franconia Metro Station that can take you into to D.C and also Alexandria.
The VRE is about 3 miles from where you are, Virginia Railway Express. That is the Woodbridge Station on the VRE's Fredericksburg line. You can take that and not have to drive into D.C. From the Woodbridge Station on the VRE's
From there you are about 30 minutes from Old Town Alexandria. About 50 minutes from L'Enfant Plaza in Washington D.C.it is also near the Museums and Washington Monument.
Monday-Friday only no weekends service.
