2nd Floor Beach cottage with two bedrooms and one bath on deep water on Big Bay Creek! Dock and 25 foot boat slip included (12 foot deep at low tide). Marina with boat landing within a quarter mile. Enjoy beautiful views and gorgeous sunsets from the living room and sundeck. One king bed in each bedroom. Full kitchen, living room, bath, and small dining area. Walking distance to Edisto Seafood for your fresh meals, Fontaine Charters for fishing, Dockside Restaurant and Briney Swine BBQ & Raw Bar, as well as Edisto Watersports & Tackle. Tours of the Ace Basin, Deep Sea Fishing, Beach Combing, and Sunset Cruises are available. Rent paddle boards, kayaks, golf carts, etc. Across from the entrance to Wyndham Golf Course. The absolute perfect spot for our family. Having a dock and boat slip is magical and the location couldn’t be better. Super helpful hosts, they almost feel more like family after we experienced a medical emergency during our stay and had to spend the night at the hospital. We look forward to many more stays!

Hidden Treasure

This is a great property for a small family. Comfortable and clean. The location is great, especially with the deep water dock. The BBQ grill was not working, but the owners are in the process of repairing it. For those with PTSD: Dock rights are rented to another family, so you may have to share the dock during your visit for crabbing and boat storage only. The owners live on the first floor, but are very friendly and give you a lot privacy. No washer or dryer. Knowing what I know now, I would still highly recommend this property!!.

Great little beach vacation

We loved our trip. Took advantage of having access to the dock which was easy and convenient. Super convenient to everything. Very clean, beds were very comfortable.

2nd of many trips to come!

This was my second trip here. The bed is still just as comfy, and the view just as nice. I threw the cast net off the dock, watched the sunrise and sunset, and spent my days on the beach. You can walk next door to a restaurant/bar, bar, and water sports/bait/tackle store, which was great to grab a bag of ice for the cooler daily!

Great Little Cabin

My two grown sons and I really enjoyed the "Little Piece of Heaven" cabin on Big Bay Creek. Being on the water we enjoyed the dock and the views. The cabin was nice and clean and everything we expected. Thank you Leah for a wonderful time and stay! Mark Meyer

Great weekend fishing place.

2nd time staying here. It is a classic older beach house but instead of a beach view it has a bay view with a deep water dock to keep a boat. We spent a weekending shrimping and crabbing and had a great time here. It is basic but what else do you need?

Little slice of heaven for sure!

I booked this just for a solo getaway for me, but my mom ended up coming for a couple days also. The bed was sooo comfortable for me after staying in a few places with uncomfortable beds. I wish I would have looked at the brand of the pillows because I really want to buy them! The view of the bay is so nice. We saw some otters under the dock next door and caught a few nice sunsets. I didn’t make it up early enough for sunrise but my mom said it was spectacular. The kitchen was very well stocked, and Joan and Leah were super nice and responsive. I had no issues at all during my stay and I will definitely be back!
