Poor customer service

I was very disappointed. The customer service was horrible. I checked in on a Friday with my family of 14 people in a five bedroom and five bathroom and four pull out sodas there were no extra towels or linen. I requested for both 6 times from Friday day one till Sunday our last night and we finally got them Monday morning as we were packing up leaving. And as we were cleaning after our family meal we seen baby bugs and the next morning we began seeing more it was horrible. The pool was far away and the dumpster. The cabin and the set up was very nice.

Great Cabin

Great cabin. We had enough room for everyone to sleep. If you need a baking sheet or big pot bring your own, but everything else they had. Great location, we had turtle that pretty much stayed by our cabin the whole time. Plus we also got to see two bears. Management called everyday to check on how things were going.

Inconvenient

When we showed up to the cabin it had not been cleaned - no linen or towels, and there was a week’s worth of trash bags just inside the door. House looked nice but smelled terrible. Called the office and was told to wait for someone to come and confirm what I had told them. Waited about 30 mins for someone to show up and verify that yes, I wasn’t lying. Offered to just clean it and stay - we were sitting outside the house with three minivans, 12 kids and a ton of melting groceries. Was told to wait, after about an hour we were informed we couldn’t stay and given another house, about a 45 minute drive away. Replacement house was nice, but inconvenient - planned a vacation for Gatlinburg and ended up staying 40 mins away on the back side of Sevier county. Communication was good with the office receptionist but other than that was pretty disappointing. House looked nice but can’t really speak beyond that as we didn’t stay in it.

The stay was great! However, we had 13 people and definitely not enough towels for the amount of people per bathroom. Also, definitely not enough TP for the bathrooms only what was left on the roll was there. They did send up 4 more rolls. The chairs in the dining room were loose or seat portion was off. The pinball machine needs service as well. Hot Tub was nice. Wish they had left out a broom and dustpan to sweep up from the kids.

Great stay!!!

Loved my stay at this cabin! I had 15 people in total (including myself) stay at this cabin and it was a wonderful time. There were a lot of plates and glasses, but we had to run the dishwasher every night for cups in the morning. The hot tub was hot, the cabins were smoky, and we had a grand ole time!!! Make sure to contact the Elite Taxi service if you need help getting to town. They really helped us out!

Don’t believe the negative comments!

When we selected this property we were pleased by its size, location and the pictures. After reserving I started reading the comments and all I can say is DON’T BELIEVE THE NEGATIVE COMMENTS. One comment said there weren’t enough plates… completely untrue. The kitchen was completely stocked with plates, utensils, pots and pans. We were cooking for a group of 12. We fit in comfortably in the Cabin. The Cabin was beyond clean and everything was impeccable when we got there. The service was just as great as the cabin itself. We got a courtesy call from management the next day to make sure all was well. We will definitely be staying again. I highly recommend this property!

Ok. It was ok.

It was mostly clean, and mostly how they said, but there's a lot of room for improvement. 1) Something was crusted onto the countertop. 2) Not many pots and pans. They told us they often get stolen, but they don't seem to have any measures in place to prevent this, such as keeping inventory and charging the renters if they go missing. 3) No fire pit, which was truly disappointing. 4) They said they would bring us more towels one day, and they never did. 5) We ran out of toilet paper. 6) No side tables on the porches to bring a drink out with you. 7) The rug in the game room is all curled up and ratty. It's a stumbling hazard and needs to be replaced. 8) No closet for hanging items in the main floor bedroom.

Great house, space, and location

House sleeps 19, the linens towels supplied were not enough for 13. Could use extra blankets and pillow cases for extra pillows. Kitchen lacking, silverware barely enough for 8, limited small cookware, cooking for crowd. No oven mitts, tea towels, baking sheets/ware, crockpots, roaster. Electric issue in master took 3 days to replace breaker. Floors on main level were filthy, grateful for washer and dryer for little kids clothes. Carpet had a spot that should be replaced.

Family Reunion

It was everything I had hoped it would be for a cabin in a great location. We even got to see bears. Plenty of space, and felt like we were in a treehouse! Plenty to do for all ages. Would definitely book again.

Property had great views and we did see bears. My problem with the property was the floors were dirty our socks were black from walking on floors the first day in. Large groups with children need a vacuum and broom and dustpan on site, but this property had neither.

Take me away

This was a nice property to rent. Kitchen was smaller then we thought and this location did not have the view of the mountains we were looking for. Location was great and game room was a big hit with kids and adults.

Arcade area is great for the kids.

The home is very nice, lots of space for all. Arcade room and hot tub were awesome for the kids and adults. Would have preferred a more private chalet, not a resort like area.
