Palm Palace—8,390 Square Feet mansion—Perfect for golf groups, family gatherings, Bachelor/Bachelorette parties, groups attending music festivals or anyone looking for a fun desert vacation.
You and your guests will be talking about the villa's sparkling pool and opulent living areas for years to come, unable to forget the experiences you shared at Palm Palace. You'll know you're in for an incredible vacation as soon as set foot in the front courtyard. A lush lawn, swaying palm trees, and tasteful sculptural accents give you the sense that you've arrived at the private palace of a desert sheikh. Pass under the colonnade and into the main living area—a circular room with plenty of natural light and stately columns flanking three plush sofas. On either side of the room, a small set of stairs leads to a second level. On one side you'll find additional lounge areas, multiple televisions, game tables (including a professional poker table, billiards, foosball, and more), and a bright, airy kitchen with Thermador appliances. The other side leads to the six in-suite bedrooms.

Dining won't be a problem with three ovens and an extra refrigerator and freezer in the garage. There's also a brand new outdoor kitchen and bar next to the pool, which makes outdoor entertaining fun and seamless. The spacious pool is flanked by a perfectly manicured lawn, two rows of lounge chairs, and multiple umbrellas. Chat in the shade of the outdoor lounge, play volleyball on the grass, or simply lounge poolside with a refreshing drink from the bar. As the sun drops below the horizon, take your pick of dining areas—there's plenty of room for your group to spread out. Then hop in the hot tub for a relaxing soak before climbing into your plush, king-size bed to rest up for another unforgettable day in paradise.

Want a resort experience in the comfort and privacy of your vacation rental? We know some of the best private chefs in the area. We can also bring a spa-like experience to you with massages or manicures. Please inquire in advance of your vacation for rates and scheduling.

HOUSE RULES:

Please read through the following house rules and ONLY request to book if you and your guests can follow them. You will be asked to acknowledge these rules when booking, and failure to follow them will be considered a violation of the rental agreement.

For safety and secure, this property is equipped with security cameras at the front door and driveway.

CITY LAW NOW PROHIBITS MUSIC AND PARTIES

As of January 2021, city ordinance 95C effectively prohibits parties and any kind of noise (including from portable speakers) in the backyard of vacation rentals. This order is in effect 24/7.

Normal noise levels (normal conversation, kids splashing in the pool) are fine. However, noise above this level and any music will likely prompt complaints from the neighbors.

Neighbors have been asked to contact Desert VIP Services directly in response to a noise violation. If the violation continues, the city has established a vacation rental hotline that residents can call to request police assistance and a citation. Any fines (from the city or HOA) are the responsibility of the guest.

Note that noise violations, parties, etc. are a breach of the rental agreement, which gives Desert VIP Services the right to enter the property without notice. We also reserve the right to evict guests in response to a violation of the rental agreement.
Additionally, outside amenities cannot be used after 9:00 p.m. weekdays through 8:00 a.m., and 10:00 p.m. - 8:00 a.m. on Friday and Saturday nights. (City ordinance 37.012 j) Fines will apply for violating these rules, and start at $2,000 per violation.


If you have questions, please refer to the rental agreement or ask us.

If you are considering hosting an event (small wedding, birthday party, etc.), please contact us before booking. You may be able to obtain a special event permit from the city of Indio. However, we cannot guarantee approval, and any city fees are your responsibility.

ADDITIONAL GUESTS

Your rental agreement will specify how many guests you are contracted to bring. Any additional guests require prior written approval.

City code limits the number of guests allowed in a rental (both overnight and during the day), and we also like to know who may be onsite in the event of an emergency.

Overnight guests beyond what is listed, in addition to being pre-approved, must pay an extra fee. Discovery of additional persons at the property without prior approval will result in eviction and forfeiture of security deposit.

The city also has new ordinances regarding parking and trash at vacation rentals.

Parking is only allowed in designated spots and, in some cases, on the street directly in front of the rental. Parking in front of other homes is strictly prohibited by the city.

Trash must remain out of public view, except when it is in the proper containers for the purpose of trash removal by the city.

AGE MINIMUMS

While we welcome guests of all ages, the person signing the rental agreement must be at least 30 years old. We reserve the right to decline or cancel a booking if the age minimum is not met.

CONFETTI, PETS, POOL HEATING

Please note that water balloons and confetti are not allowed. We have had problems with these items getting into the pool and landscaping, and they are very difficult to remove. We ask that you leave them at home.

All pets must be pre-approved and are not guaranteed to be pre-approved. An additional pet fee of $150 per dog is in addition to the rate quoted.

Note that the pool is heated only upon request and for an additional daily fee (not included in the rental rate). We need at least 24 hours to get the pool up to temperature, so please let us know before your stay if you would like this service. Pool heating is highly recommended October through April.

Excellent for large families

This is a great place to stay and the home is exceptionally large. Very spacious and roomy. Lot's of areas to congregate for our guests. A few nuances that were a bit challenging during our stay (ex. not enough propane for the grill, didn't have a can opener in the kitchen, spa had weird smell after the first day) but overall it was a pleasant experience.

Emanuel- I wish that you had expressed these inconveniences during your stay so that we could have addressed them. There are two full propane tanks on the side of the house at all times- less than 12 feet away from the grill itself. The spa shares the same water as the pool, so I do not know why it had a smell to it, but we will have the water chemistry checked again. The can opener was found in the silverware drawer. I would have brought you one anyways had I known that you were having trouble finding one.. The important thing is that you liked the size and location of the home, and that you had a great time with your family and friends! Hopefully you will be back again to stay with us. With any house, communication during your stay if having any problems or issues is key to a great experience. We are here to help and problem solved if need be. House & Location Awesome

This was a great place to stay and located in the heart of everything 2 blocks from the festival at the Polo Club . Diana was absolutely incredible and went out of her way for anything we needed. We will definitely be using her again in the future and will look up one of her other properties when we go back. So friendly and addresses all issues quickly. Pretty place, pretty disappointing customer service

The property was nice. The photos on all websites and the bed numbers and a few other details aren’t accurate across all websites so that definitely should be improved for truth in advertising purposes or ask those questions before you purchase property. Working with property manager, Diana was disappointing after the amount of money invested to stay at a property like this, I’ve usually been treated with top-notch, white-glove customer service and kindness, making sure your stay is worthwhile. Her demeanor was unkind and demeaning basically throughout our entire interactions. She was argumentative about several things the main thing being that although the website says $200 per day to heat the pool, it should more accurately be $300 per day because they charge an extra day you’re not using to heat up the pool. In any case, she was very rude when I inquired about the extra charge and even moreso when I met her in person to give the money for the property. I’ve traveled quite extensively with other rental companies and as the CEO of my own company, if someone was having a difficult encounter, the customer and their satisfaction and happiness should truly come first and be more important than a few hundred dollars after we’d already spent close to 10,000 on this property. Needless to say, the interaction with her was very upsetting but I didn’t let it ruin our trip. Overall, the beauty and comfort of a location is only part of the appeal, the kindness and care is the rest
