My stay was awesome with a great host and a easy check in at front desk. The view was amazing and I would definitely go back and book this hotel again!

Great location!

This property is right on the beach. Nice amenities. The condo itself needs some updating. Very clean and pretty comfortable beds.

Nice condo in a great location. Condo is outdated and has the bare minimums when it comes to kitchen supplies but for a getaway for two families with children, it was perfect.

Anniversary/Family Vacation was Awesom

We loved everything at the property. The property manager Cody was very friendly and answer text right away. Family really enjoyed the facilities despite the raining off and on the location was perfect. The only bad thing was that the room had sand all over the flooring the master bedroom and on the master bedroom bed. And one kitchen cabinet needs repair of the cover. The dishwasher needs to be cleaned gives an odor. Besides that we will be coming back again and booking with Cody.

Great view and comfortable sleeping

Everything was great enjoyed the location and amenities. Only thing would be for the owners to replace the very old furniture.in the condo.

Good, not great

This property is basically a hotel with fully furnished condos instead of standard hotel rooms. We found the condo to be under supplied in terms of plates/silverware/cookware. We had to ask the front desk for more, which they supplied, but we were given the bare minimum. There were several broken things in the condo (door knob, damaged dishwasher but still operational, missing TV remote, crumbling drywall near shower, etc.), which we reported to the front desk and they replied, “we already know about all that stuff, it’s ok, you won’t be charged”. My thinking is that if you know about broken/missing items, you fix them. Cleanliness of the unit was good overall. Pools/hot tubs were nice and well kept. Proximity to the beach was very nice, especially if you have little kids. The ocean is literally 100 yards from the pool area. Proximity to local attractions was pretty good too. We didn’t realize that most of the attractions that are advertised are actually in North Myrtle Beach, which is about a 15-20 min drive. Parking at the building is set up in a lot that is adjacent to the property with a short walk to the building. Good experience overall, but no “wow-factor”.

It was a great experience. Carpets were dirty upon check in a door lock wouldn’t work on the one bedroom and dirty shoes were found in the one bedroom. Other than that is was a good stay

The space was roomy enough for our family to spread out. Only complaint was the 2:30 am fireworks on the beach, which admittedly were beyond the control of the property.

Fulfilled its purpose

I’m more go-with-the-flow type of person, not picky, so this fulfilled our needs. The location was nice, the ample pools was desirable, & felt relatively safe. However, this place is incredibly overpriced for the status of the condo. Being outside always smelled of pot to the degree of causing a headache. The carpet needed a good scrubbing. I felt like I had to wear my shoes constantly or my feet would turn dirty black. And considering we had infants that are crawling, this was an even bigger issue. Our door latch was broken, the table chairs were missing the vinyl, the sliding door kept getting caught/ stuck, the ice maker was broken. Just so many little things that made the unit feel unkept & overpriced. I did not bring any of these issues to the staff for the reason above (served our purpose for a short stay), but also, I felt pretty confident that there wasn’t much monetary compensation that would happen & I didn’t want to be bothered with moving rooms or having maintenance in our face. Lastly, due to covid the unit wasn’t even cleaned during our stay. I understand a pandemic is unfortunate, but not having a vacuum, or mop was an extra bummer considering all the sand inadvertently being drug inside. Sure didn’t help with the dirty dingy carpet feeling. I would not stay at this place again, unless I knew they had updated their rooms or lowered their prices.

Sandy Beach Resort

Had a lovely 5 day stay at the Sandy Beach Resort. Amazing views from each of the rooms. Easy access to the beach and pools. Free and convenient parking right across the street with no problem finding a space I this busy area.
