Serene home on a pond - Bike to the beach! Linens included, bikes, game room

Welcome to "Playa Bella"!

Our home offers an open floor plan with cathedral ceilings, tall windows, and beautiful hardwood floors; an inviting gourmet kitchen with granite countertops, a dining area, and a living room for you to relax in front of the gas fireplace.

Right off the main living area, you will find a den/office where you can work peacefully or sink into the cozy recliners to watch your favorite shows on a smart TV.

The main floor also hosts a large and comfortable master suite with king-size bed and a gorgeous bathroom with Italian shower, and 2 guest rooms, each with a queen-size bed, that share a full bath with a shower/tub combo.

The 4th bedroom (queen-size bed) and a 3rd bathroom with shower/tub combo are located upstairs.

The spacious loft is set up as a comfortable family room with a large flat screen TV, using Fire Stick to access Netflix, Amazon, Pandora, and such (just don’t forget your passwords). A DVD player, books, and games are also available for your enjoyment.

The loft has room to add 2 inflatable mattresses for additional kids, should you need them (mattresses & bedding provided).

Powerful WiFi is available throughout the house.

There is also a full laundry room and a 2-car garage used as a game room with Foosball and a Ping-Pong tables. Feel free to use our bicycles to go to the community pool and tennis, local stores, downtown Bethany, the beach (beach chairs also provided), or just to take a fun bike ride and explore the area.

The outdoor shower is refreshing when you come back from the beach.

Enjoy balmy evenings in the screened-in gazebo overlooking the pond or eating al-fresco on the deck and patio (with dining table, lounge chairs, barbecue).

Please note the property is equipped with outdoor cameras for your protection.

Minimum renter's age:30 - HOA paperwork to sign.

Great house in a quiet neighborhood that was close to the beach. I made the comment several times that it didn't feel like a rental, it felt like home. The house was immaculate and nicely decorated. Not having to bring sheets and towels was an added bonus. The host checked in with us periodically and we didn't have any issues. Great family vacation.

Amazing property

The house was just as pictured, well maintained and well stocked with everything we needed. We had an amazing family vacation. Beach was close, pool was great. Highly recommend for your stay.

We had a great stay at this home. Caroline was an amazing host who provided tons of information and was very responsive to our questions and needs. The house book was an amazing resource we found ourselves thumbing through daily! The house is wonderful and our teenage children all enjoyed their spaces and we loved the master suite. The only downside was the vacation went by too fast, we'd have loved more time. We loved capping off the trip with game night in the gazebo the last night. Thanks for a great experience!

Beautiful property

Our family of 6 absolutely adored this property. Very clean and incredibly beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet and friendly. Short walk to the pool which we enjoyed every day of our trip! Highly recommend renting here.

Beautiful and comfortable home

Lovely home in friendly neighborhood. Found Fenwick State Park less crowded and more enjoyable beach. Nice local restaurants and the house had a wonderful kitchen to make meals there. Pool in neighborhood very nice.

Great place, central to many beaches

We had a great stay at this property! The owner was fantastic and communicated with us easily, the place was beautiful and very clean, just as described. The location was great for visiting many nearby attractions and beaches. The house was close enough to bike to Bethany Beach, although we did not. Overall we loved our stay and would stay here again.

The house is very spacious and the screened-in gazebo affords lots of relaxing time with no fear of bugs.

I was very pleased with the house and stayed in communication with the owner. She actually text me to make sure my family and I were ok and if we needed anything. I will definitely be going back. I never felt so comfortable as i did in her house.

Staying at Playa Bella

We arrived early as the owner let us know it was ready. She welcomed us with lovely cards and treats. The home was lovely and very clean as described. Games, movies, bikes. Spa style bath products. Well equipped kitchen, open living area. I highly recommend this property. Very close to beach, boardwalk, restaurants. Charming trolley service. Highly recommend this for families, multi generation family friendly. Also, if you are coming from NJ you can board the Cape May ferry and relax for just over an hour and possibly see dolphins and 2 lighthouses.

Perfect House

Prior to our arrival I was a little suspicious that the house would be as good as the reviews said….it didn’t disappoint! After staying at many houses in many locations, this was probably the best house our group has ever rented. The hosts have thought of everything you might need and everything you didn’t think you would need. Linens, bath products, kitchen supplies, beach items, books, games, etc. are all provided. Communication with the host is easy and she seems to actually care if you have any issues during your stay- not that we had any. The house was clean and ready for our stay, quick to check in and easy check out. There were so many thoughtful details and I would definitely stay again or recommend to others. The only thing that could have been better was if it was walkable to the beach but we knew before renting that it was not so it’s not a deal breaker. If you’re on the fence, go for it!

Terrific place

In all this years renting houses, this is the best host I have ever had. The house in immaculately clean, communication is excellent. the house is fully stocked with high quality cooking tools. Bath towels, linens, great beds. It's just nice not to have to buy oil or spices. If you don't mind a short drive to the beach or a 10 minute walk to the pool (with a toddler), you should get this place. Now, because this review is intended to help future guests let me point some things that might be helpful. The good, the hosts communication, the house is amazing, the couches, the beds, everything is really comfortable and easy to use. Things to keep in mind: The description does a good job at explaining it but just in case you need to know that the property isn't walking distance from the beach and that the roads around it have heavy traffic and it will be a bit of a challenge to ride a bike to the beach to be honest. The pool is a nice 10 minute walk from the house, we don't mind it, but you should be aware that is not super close if you plan to carry toys for the kids, etc, you might need to drive. It's a mixed income community, some beautiful houses and some apartments. We had people listening to loud music in a boom box in the pool. It is what it is and we might have had bad luck, but in general, there is a mixed crowd in the pool. The check out process is a bit longer than in other places. It took us 2 hrs by the time we were done with all the requests for check out.

And you’re right, walking to the pool with a toddler must be a task, ha ha… We never do, but our kids are teens, so we bike everywhere, especially to the beach, thanks to the bike lanes all the way. I am sorry it took you that long to check out. I try to keep it to the minimum (and no cleaning of any sort…) but I understand it must be cumbersome with a toddler and a baby to handle while getting ready. I remember those times… it is hectic. I hope you have a lovely end of summer. Enjoy!

We fell in love with the house and its beautiful and tranquil surroundings, as well as the cute town of Bethany. It's more peaceful than the popular local beaches, and more family oriented. And there is so much to do... we enjoy biking around or walking on the beach, going to the pool or the beach depending on the mood, sailing or canoeing on either one of the bays, hosting friends, eating at the local restaurants and of course, outlet shopping!
