Great Stay!!

We had a great stay at Franks House. He was very welcoming and also helped us alot with where to go etc. The house is very clean and has everything you need. Location is great, will stay again when returning to Hollywood.

Lovely Property

My girlfriends and I spent a great getaway in this beautiful Hollywood Home and enjoyed every minute! The location was close to all the fun Hollywood hotspots, the house was beautiful, very clean and filled with every amenity you could ever need. We will certainly be back!

Location Location Location

This place has it all! Why stay in a hotel when you can stay at a home away from home. Frank is a great host and this house is the perfect location. We came in for Oscar weekend and had a wonderful time. The house is clean and comfortable. Frank went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Can't wait to return again next year.

Comfortable and convenient location

I’ve enjoyed our stay at Frank’s rental. Frank is great in communicating with me leading up to our arrival and he met us personally. The home is spacious with very comfortable main bedroom, living room, dining room and well equipped kitchen. We were centrally located for visiting Universal Studios and easy access to Santa Monica and othe LA sights. I’d rent agin when visiting LA.

Hollywood Bucket list trip!

We rented this property on VRBO and we were more than satisfied with our decision. It is in an ideal location, the place was just as it appeared in the listing add and very clean when we arrived. Frank, the owner, was very accommodating in every aspect. He met us there upon our arrival and went over a few highlights and gave us keys and the remote. We spent 7 days and the place was a big plus for the entire trip! Overall we would highly recommend this place for anyone interested in seeing the LA area.

great house, great location

We had a wonderful stay at this property. The house is well-stocked with linens, toiletries, and food staples. We have teenage daughters and there was so much to walk to, even close to Runyon Canyon. Frank is professional and easy to deal with. the house is clean, comfortable, and well decorated. We were very comfortable in this house. Frank also had the house decorated for Christmas, which was very thoughtful.

Great Location

We stayed here for a week at the of of May. We loved it! The location is great and it's so nice to have your own parking. No searching for a spot on the street. It's a lovely home and very clean. Frank is great to deal with. We had one issue and he took care of it promptly. Our security deposit was returned quickly. We would stay here again. LOVE LA!

Great Time Oscar weekend

The house was an excellent choice for taking in all Hollywood has to offer. It is walking or a short cab ride/drive to almost anything you would want to do in LA. The house is located in a great spot and has off street parking which is a huge plus in Hollywood. The house was clean & comfortable. Frank was very responsive and a pleasure to work with. For the price you would be hard pressed to find a better house/location. I would definitely recommend this house to anyone.

Spacious, tranquil home in a great location.

A lovely two bedroom home with plenty of space for us and our teenage kids. Everything catered for, huge beds,masses of towels, wifi and tv. Even a little garden to sit in and watch the hummingbirds. Great location too, within walking distance of hollywood attractions, restaurants, supemarkets and hill side walks. The ultimate Hollywood base which we thoroughly enjoyed. The owner was helpful and attentive throughout the booking process and when we arrived. Had no problems, but sure any would have been sorted quickly if we needed it. Highly recommended.

Perfect location, exceptional hospitality by owner

Frank was a perfect resource and accomodated every need we had. He was available to answer any questions and also kept us updated of new attractions in addition to the information provided at the home. The home was clean, comfortable and had every accomodation you would need. We have a two year old with us so ample indoor and outdoor space was great! The home is in a private, gated area with easy access from the main roads. The location is exceptional, really in the middle of all the tourists attractions in Beverly Hills, Hollywood, as well as a local Target, Ralph's supermarket, beaches, etc. Thank you Frank, we had a pleasurable stay and you and your home come highly recommended from us to our friends visiting L.A.!

Spring Break in LA

I stayed at Frank's home April 18 - April 23, 2011 with my 14 year old daughter, her best friend and my best friend. The house is exactly as it appears in the pictures. It is in an ideal location just a couple of blocks from Hollywood Bvd and just 25 mins from the airport (without traffic). It was very clean and well stocked (towels, tide, tolet paper, soap, etc.). The house is very clean and we were very comforable during our stay. I would absolutely stay here again and recommend this Home Away From Home to anyone looking to visit Hollywood/Beverly Hills/LA area. We had a ball! Thanks again Frank for your great hosptiality.

Spacious, clean and well decorated

This is the 5th house rental in LA for our annual girls trip and we have come to like certain amenities. Frank and this house provided all of them. He was quick and easy to communicate with; always making himself available. The house is located 1 block from LA Ink and Ralphs, close to everything we like to do during our stay. The only reason I gave 4 stars and not 5 is the house is beside a business that has a large garbage can that can be stinky, but Frank has done a great job with the hedges to make a separation. The house is exactly what is pictured, very large, clean and well stocked. Private parking and beautiful back yard. First rental that included bath soap, shampoo and toothpaste; nice touch! Beautifully decorated and 2 areas to sit outside and enjoy morning coffee or late night drinks. Ipod dock worked well, great closet space and nice showers. would recommend!

MOST RELAXING BUSINESS TRIP!

Having to work under stressful conditions is the worse - but Frank's home made it the most pleasurable experience EVER. The house was not only comfortable but it made me feel at home. I was able to work comfortably when I wasn't at meetings. And the location was incredible! Easy access to everything. The gated parking made me feel so safe! I adored the shower and the kitchen made it so easy so that I was able to buy my own breakfast foods. This will be the place I stay every time I come to LA on business. Thank you Frank! Knowing that I no longer have to stay at a hotel for the BET Awards every year is such a relief! Now if you could get rid of LA traffic - hahahaha. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this place! Whether for work or vacation. It's PERFECT!!! I should add that Frank was easy to reach, very hands on even while traveling abroad. Better service than any hotel could offer. So don't bother using a hotel when you can have privacy and comfort and safety from Frank!

Great Place

The home is just like the pictures. Frank is very nice and easy to deal with. Loved the gated driveway and the shrubs that line the fence. Makes you feel like you are in your own little oasis. Walked to restaurants and location makes it easy to get to the places we wanted to visit. Would definitely stay again if I visit Hollywood again.

Lovely home

We enjoyed our time at this property! The beds were comfy and there were lots of special touches that made our stay nice. The property itself was beautiful. The neighborhood was a little sketchier than we expected, but as another reviewer pointed out, that is to be expected for as big a city as LA. We still felt comfortable walking to nearby attractions, restaurants and Ralph's grocery store. We didn't rent a car while we were in LA. Taking a Lyft everywhere was really easy and, given that we would have had to pay to park at many of our destinations, I think rideshare might have been cheaper than having our own car. Thanks for the great hospitality, Frank!

Great location, walking distance to Hollywood walk of fame, Chinese theater, access to hollywood tours, and walking distance to Runyon Canyon Park. House was well equipped. 2 nice bathrooms, 2 bedrooms, great for our 4 guests. Nice parking in driveway protected by gate that operates via automatic door opener. House is also protected by outside gate and locked gated door. Frank was very friendly and allowed us to check in early. Even though we felt very secure, the area/neighborhood around the house such as the streets, were somewhat dirty with increased amount of the homeless population in the tourist areas of hollywood. Several older style motor homes were parked on the local streets along with old mattresses and garbage scattered about. These issues are worth noting but not uncommon in all big cities.This would not deter us from renting the house again due to fact that the location was prime and never really had any big security issues. Also, the two full beds in the one bedroom are in need of replacement in the near future. Overall, we enjoyed our stay in LA. Frank lives next store and is available if you encounter any issues.

Thank you for the review. I know it your first time in LA. In big cities like NYC, Chicago, Toronto and LA you will see homeless. In regards to the mattress it’s my neighbor’s which was not pick up coz it was raining in LA for a week and it was soak. It’s was picked up last Thursday. The RV was a props from a movie doing across the street near Jim Hanson Studio. It’s gone now.

Great location

Clean, comfy king size bed, lovely dining and living room sets. Close to Sprouts, Ralphs supermarkets, stores, fast food places and restaurants. I highly recommend this place has a nice yard and parking surround wirh ficus trees for privacy.

My property is a single story home with a huge driveway with nice yard where you can relax. NO need to take an elevator like most condo or apartment. It's more private and the house is surrounded with beautiful ficus trees.
