Experience Tim’s Ford Lake in Twin Creeks Village! Stay in a stunning 2,500 sq. ft. brand-new home near the heated pool & clubhouse in this private, gated marina neighborhood just a mile from historic downtown Winchester.

Walk to the Marina for lunch, dinner, or drinks with family and friends. Bring your boat and use the adjacent public boat ramp, or rent boats, kayaks, SUP boards, and more at the marina shop. A 6-person golf cart is available to rent as an add-on for easy exploring!

Great stay

This is a wonderful rental space. The house is comfortable, well-supplied, and roomy. Even in winter, when some of the amenities are not so practical, it was great. And the host was very easy to communicate with and extremely helpful. Highly recommended.

Perfect for our needs!

This place has was perfect for our needs. We had plenty of space for the 7 of us staying there. The owner was wonderful and incredibly helpful and responsive to questions. The community where the house is was so cute.

Beautiful Home and Wonderful Experience

We will absolutely stay at "Mainely Southern" again! The house had everything we needed for a wonderful week at the lake. The check in process was seamless and the owner was very communicative! She even made recommendations for places to eat and things to do in downtown Winchester. The proximity to the lake and use of the golf cart made our stay complete! We'll surely be back!

Lake Weekend

The house was perfect for our weekend, I could not have dreamed it to be any better. The house is immaculate, the beds are so comfortable and Lyndsay is the best host I have dealt with. Very easy and smooth from booking to check out. Thank you again!! Highly recommend!!!

Great house for a family get together for the long weekend

The house was exactly as described. We had all of the amenities and couldn’t have had a better time. Plenty of space and very close to the marina. Having a golf cart also made the stay amazing. We are looking forward to having another weekend getaway there. Thanks for everything.

Sleeping Accommodations not accurate

The description of the available beds was not accurate and did not work well for our group. The room with 2 twin beds does not allow use of both trundles - on trundle extended barely fits. There is an implication that the living room can accommodate sleeping but these are not fold-out couches and we had to use air mattresses for the two teenagers sleeping there. The Queen bedroom is a day bed configuration with bars surrounding the bed on 3 sides so it is very limiting for 6ft or taller guests. We made it work and enjoyed our stay but we had to really work out sleeping arrangements for our 11 person family outside what was described.

Girls Trip

The place was amazing. It was very clean and comfortable. We had the best time playing games, relaxing at the pool, and a great time on the lake. Went to the Marina for the live band one night and it was a good time as well. Will come back for sure.

Great Family Fun @ The Mainely Southern

The Mainely Southern was a great property for a fun family weekend at Tim’s Ford Lake! We were a mixed group of families with smaller children and the space was perfect for housing us all and it’s closeness to Twin Creeks Marina. The property owners were very communicative and helpful as well! We had a great experience and would definitely recommend this property to families looking for a lake vacation property.

July 4th Weekend Stay

We had a great time staying here. 6 adults and 4 kids and still plenty of room to spread out. We had a little issue with gate/door codes but the owners responded immediately and no problems after that. I would recommend bringing your own golf cart or expect to drive your vehicle outside the property to get down to marina or boat ramp. House was very clean and we truly had a great 4th of July weekend here.

We had a great time visiting the Twin Creeks area and boating on Tim’s Ford lake! The house was very clean and the owner was very responsive to any questions. We’ll stay again!

Spacious comfort

Place is new and immaculate. Kitchen was nicely equipped with enough dishes, utensils, etc. for our group of 7. Beds were comfortable, bathrooms were well appointed. Nice getaway for our Sewanee graduation weekend.
