1 block from historical 11th Street and 2 blocks from Main Street, the Medina River, restaurants, shopping, and live music. One of Bandera's original houses (c 1881). Completely renovated and updated with the goal of maintaining the unique character and charm.

This spacious 2 bedroom/1 bathroom Main House with large covered front porch is perfect for relaxing with your favorite book or cup of coffee. Located on a quieter side street in downtown steps from all the activities.

Large living room, large master bedroom, good sized second bedroom, full bathroom (with tub/shower), dining room and fully equipped kitchen. Other amenities include WiFi (100 Mbps), Satellite TV, Central Air & Heat and covered parking. Linens, dishes and utensils provided.

The rocking chairs on porch are perfectly placed to overlook the front and side yards, there is outdoor dining/seating and a gas BBQ grill area.

There is a washer & dryer on the back porch that is shared with the guests in the Guest House.

Private, covered off-street parking (single vehicle) plus generous additional parking.

Available daily (2-3 night minimum), weekly, or monthly (limited). Rate depends on time and length of stay.

Need more room? Adjoining Guest House property #2334986 is a 1 bedroom/1bath unit that accommodates up to 3 (additional per night over base rate per adult over 2).

Perfect Location For Our Activities

Our group of 3 were visiting Bandera for the great motorcycle routes in the area. The Bandera Cottage was very comfortable and interesting. We enjoyed sitting on the porch in the evenings after our rides. The listing shows the "Cottage as having 3 bedrooms but it is actually 2 bedrooms with a foldout couch in the living room, however the foldout was very comfortable. Enjoyed seeing the deer in the area on my morning walks. Overall we were very happy with our stay and the accommodations.

Location was perfect to be away from main traffic but close enough to walk to everything downtown. Will definitely stay there again!

Schönes Haus in ruhiger Lage. Die Rehe kommen Abends vorbei und legen sich in den Garten.

Das Haus und die Einrichtung sind rustikal, wie es in einer Westernstadt sein sollte. Die Vermieterin sehr nett, und antwortete immer innerhalb kurzer Zeit. Es ist Zentral gelegen, so dass man die Saloons zu Fuß erreichen kann.

Wonderful cozy cottage

We had a great time at this spacious and cozy cottage. Loved the historic character of the house and how we could easily walk to Main Street. The beds were very comfortable, and the cottage was equipped with everything we needed for a nice relaxing stay. Loved watching the deer. A great home base for exploring Bandera and its attractions!

Bandera-Great place for live music and dancing!

Comfortable and roomy. Bed especially. Deers just outside our window. Everything we needed and didn’t-mosquitoes outside-but nice rocking chairs for awhile. Great location to walk to town.

Perfect Place!!

Great property! Great location! Wonderful host! This house has everything you need regardless of how long of your visit. House is filled with some wonderful antiques too! Plenty of deer to watch while sipping a cup of coffee on the porch. I would highly recommend this location!

Perfect accommodations and location!!

What a wonderful weekend. The location is literally as close as you can get to all the happenings and yet quiet when ready to call it a night. We were two couples enjoying the Labor Day Weekend festivities. The beds were comfortable, AC worked well, kitchen well equipped, and each room was spacious. Even the little details were covered—good shower head, plenty of towel hooks/racks, nice size bathroom counter area, and outdoor grill that worked. Toni even checked in on us to make sure everything was OK.

Change of Plans

We had a hiccup in our Bandera plans on the day before our trip. On my way to my brother-in-laws to load up my motorcycle on a trailer for our trip I had a truck and trailer hit my motorcycle. Luckily no one was hurt but my motorcycle was too damaged to make the trip. The group decided to go ahead and make the trip in our vehicle and make the best of it. We had the best time and really enjoyed our stay at this lovely, kozy house. It was very clean and well supplied with a lot of accessories. The location was awesome and we were able to walk to all the hot spots in town. We really enjoyed our evening at the 11th Street Cowboy Bar on Friday night. The mornings and evenings on the porch watching the numerous deer roam the neighborhood was so relaxing and enjoyable. This is a great place and we plan on staying here when we do get to make it a motorcycle weekend in the future. Thanks for a great stay!

Precious cottage with great history

My cousin and I had a relaxing time at this wonderful little home and exploring Bandera. Cute details, loved the history. Both beds and pillows were so comfortable, we slept great! Communication was great, check-in was easy, there’s plenty of activity brochures to round off the stay! We loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Summers might be tough.. AC would not go below 72. Maybe a setting for our time line. Setting. House was awesome, beds very comfortable! House very clean. Great location. Walk to everything!

Location, location, location, as they say! This property makes it an especially appealing vacation spot for those who appreciate being steps away from all the main attractions in Bandera but also like a nice serene retreat to porch sit, watch the wildlife and, on a good night, hear the music play.

I love the coziness of the main house, as well as it's recent renovation that added safety and comfort with the central air and heat for comfortable temperature control while preserving the original charm with the kitchen cabinets, old fireplace and hardwood floors. The location is walkable to everything, but still offers a quiet and serene retreat like you are miles away. It is perfect for a gathering of friends or family wanting a getaway.
