Bandera Bungalow in lower downtown Bandera is a peaceful, cozy charmer with everything you could ask for in a Hill Country getaway! The remodeled 1940's home gives you modern comforts with historical warmth! Located a short walk from the beautiful Medina River and Bandera City Park, it is easy to enjoy the serenity and wildlife of the Hill Country. Enjoy our front porch for coffee or backyard deck to wind down. If live music, dancing, and action are more your style, we are located less than a mile from all the action and shops downtown Bandera offers! Family-friendly hiking is a block away along a wooded park trail adjacent to the river. The bungalow is nestled on a 1/3 acre corner lot and is dog-friendly with a ranch-fenced back yard, fully secure for all but the smallest of dogs. Your entire family will love it!

This was an incredibly clean, charming house. We were amazed by the quality of the painting inside and out. I have flipped houses for 30 years, and this was the best painting job I have ever seen. Our dog loved the large fenced backyard with a great deck. She would run and bark at the deer, and the deer couldn't care less. The interior had every amenity we could ask for. The one critical item we always judge VRBO's is the mattress, and it is Excellent.We will be back in the near future. Thank you for such a beautiful, peaceful property.

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay in this adorable, well-appointed home. The beds and couch were very comfortable and the water-pressure was perfect. Everything was very clean and the host was very responsive and left us clear instructions on how do enter and lock up. The house is surrounded by other homes, but we hardly saw a soul out there. Just deer and other friendly dogs and some stray cats. It was so peaceful and we felt very safe. Our dogs loved the big, fenced yard. My puppy didn’t want to leave!

I mentioned that our trip to Bandera was for my birthday. When we arrived there was a happy birthday balloon and a special message welcoming us with a Happy Birthday message. Such a sweet start to my birthday weekend. The accommodations were so nice. Felt right at home. Loved watching the deer wandering freely throughout the neighborhood. We will be back!

House nice and cozy. All amenities plentiful. Hosts left a nice welcoming note and snacks. Tons of deer along the street and lots of neighborhood cats roaming. Although it has a large yard, access is not conducive. No others mentioned this in their reviews, however. Due to the deer and cats, I had to leash my dogs to go from house to yard because there is no direct access from house to out back. So that was a bit inconvenient in the middle of the night for potty breaks. Other than that, I have no complaints. I do recommend this house and location.

The property was EXACTLY as described, and very welcoming. Pet friendly, clean and orderly rooms, with every detail as described. Within walking distance of downtown. Without hesitation, I plan to come back for another stay. Thank you Terri for providing a feeling of “home away from home”.

Cute Little House in the Country

This is one of the BEST Vrbo rentals I've ever rented! It was so clean with a well stocked kitchen and bathroom. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio and using the grill. Very peaceful and relaxing with a lot of deer wondering around. I would recommend staying here in a heart beat!

Me my son and my older sister

My son is severely autistic but he loved the huge backyard and very nice home. The house is very nice and comfortable. Just a beautiful place to stay

Motorcycle Trip to Bandera

We arrived to a clean and very nice house. The beds are very comfortable. It’s nicely decorated and has all the cooking utilities and cookware you will ever need. The owners were very responsive anytime we needed anything. We will be back and recommend the house to all our friends.
