Excellent vacation property. Two kayaks, a paddle boat and a canoe provided plenty of lake fun. Evening spent around a firepit facing the moon filled lake was especially nice. Cabin/house was fully equipped with everything you could want for an enjoyable 4 day stay.This a annul family vacation for us.

The property was just as listed, in an excellent location, and extremely well-stocked. The kitchen had everything we needed for cooking, and we had wonderful dinners at the table on the deck. The dock was great for stowing our boat and jet skies as well as fishing, swimming, and hanging out. We will definitely consider this property on our next trip to Norris Lake!

Great stay and loved the dock! The dock was new and had Trex decking which was awesome! The cove was great and not a lot of waves to rock our boat while in the slip.

Enjoyed our stay

Everything looked just like what you see in the pictures and is what we expected…no surprises. Great location on the lake and only a 20 min ride into town if you need anything. Was a relaxing vacation for us. Mark was very easy to deal with and very helpful. Would stay here again.

Great place

Our family had a great experience at this lake house. Everything was clean, organized, and functional when we arrived. Dock is great. Water is deep so it is great for swimming (even after dropping the level of the lake after the summer). Our kids enjoyed swimming, playing with kayaks, and fishing. Beautiful view of the lake. We rented a pontoon at a nearby marina and played on the lake all day. Grill works great and fire pit was fun in the evening. Highly recommend.

Great Spot

We really enjoyed our time at this property. The location, dock, and overall convenience was great. The home is pretty dated, but very well-maintained. Overall, a very good experience and we would absolutely consider staying at this property again in the future.

Great time

We had a great time. The house was very clean and the dock was amazing. It was great having the use of the kayaks, peddle boat, and canoe. Loved the full supply of toilet paper and trash bags. Liked the extra little fridge for the drinks. The location was great. We would definitely rent this again.

One sweet environment. Beautiful lake, canoe pattel and two Kiakas.

Everything you need for a great visit to Norris Lake. Besides the water crafts mentioned in the title box, there are numerous bed rooms and bathrooms. an complete kitchen, spacious lounging areas and a fire pit with plenty of logs for enjoyable evenings on the lake.

Norris Lake Getaway

Perfect place to enjoy Norris Lake. Beautiful views. Great accommodations. Enjoyed our stay with our children and grandchildren.They came from 3 different states. Loved being able to use the kayaks, canoe and paddle boat. The dock was amazing to sit around and swim in the lake. Including ladder. Each night after the kids were in bed we enjoyed bonfires where we laughed and caught up with each other. Highly recommend.

Great Place!

Wonderful place to stay and enjoy the lake. The house is plenty big for a group and has everything you would need. The covered dock is amazing and perfect for our rental pontoon boat. The week after Labor Day was quiet and peaceful. What a great get away! A standup paddle board would be a great addition if the owners have an interest in expanding their offerings. The kayaks and canoe were great fun! Thanks, would definitely stay here again!

Mark, Thanks for sharing your property with us. Had a great time. Great location and everything we needed. Dock was great. By the end of the week it even seemed a little easier to get up the stairs. my only negative....need a better cable package.

Return guests and already booked for stay #3

Excellent location for relaxing on the water, convenient to the Big Creek area of the lake, and easy access to neighborhood boat ramp and nearby marinas. Easy and big driveway. Well stocked kitchen. An electric griddle would be a nice addition tho. Noticed simple updates to the property from last stay. The owner/property contact takes suggestions to heart. You can tell they care about making your stay enjoyable so you'll come back...which we are already booked for next years stay #3, God willing. I would suggest bringing a can of spider and ant spray for the outside deck, patio and dock...everyday we were knocking down webs (or more like walking into them) with huge spiders. Highly recommend this property.

We have been going to Norris Lake for over 25 years. The lake is great. Good for skiing, tubing, wake-boarding, etc. Take a trip daily to different marinas, each with food and gas. Play cards on the dock day or night.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

Purchased the land in 1989, and started to build in 1990. Updated and well maintained. New steps in 2021 and new dock in 2022. Our kids were small and it was a great place to watch them grow up. We try to provide everything so your stay can be pleasant. Cleaning service and trash removal is included. We have upgraded the internet provider to fiber. WiFi calling and Zoom work most of the time. WiFi password in cottage. Plan to have a fun time on the lake!
