EXPERIENCE THE WATER'S EDGE. FAMILIES LOVE IT! EVERYONE LOVES IT!

When you arrive at Water's Edge you will not want or need to leave. We offer a Pontoon boat rental from May to October that can stay at the house overnight/s and you can use at your leisure with no trips running back and forth and wasting precious vacation/boating time. This house is as close to the water as one can get. We have been VRBO property owners since 2014. This property is a Beach Style Lakefront home with double slip dock. The gentle slope of the patio walk to water provides an easy walk to the Waters Edge. The house has 2 bedrooms with independent Mini-split AC. Master Suite has a King Bed with full bathroom with step in shower. 2ND Bedroom has 1 Queen bed and a set of bunk beds with Ensuite full Bathroom with step in shower. All of our beds are very comfortable and after each guest leaves every piece of linen, every blanket, every quilt or bedspread is washed and fresh especially for you. We also have a 3rd Full Bath on the ground floor with step in shower. This house will sleep 6 comfortably in beds and if you have some young ones to sleep on the large comfy sectional there is space enough for 2 smaller humans.

Wifi is 20 mbps with DISH TV.

IF YOU REQUIRE HIGH SPEED INTERNET PLEASE DO NOT RENT THIS PROPERTY. We do have wifi that will serve for wifi phone calls and emails etc. You can play anything but WAR ZONE according to my 17 year old son.

The house boasts a full eat in Kitchen and open floor plan Living area. The view from the huge front porch is spectacular and as a Bonus we have a Bar-B-Q Chef's dream complete with a Gas grill and outdoor Bar. Just outside the sliding door and off the huge deck you will find a the Hot Tub. Our Hot Tub is drained after each guest leaves and we use minimal Bromide tablets to keep it fresh for you. Sit in the Hot Tub and take in the Magnificent Watauga Lake in all its Glorious Beauty. Jump in one of the Kayak's and drift off into the sunset. If you're not a Hot Tub person then maybe you stroll down to the Water's Edge and sit by the Fire Pit or rent the pontoon boat and jump aboard at your leisure. Ask after booking for details of the pontoon boat rental.

Another great summer vacation by the lake

This is our third time renting Water's Edge and as always our family had a great time! We rarely revisit short term rentals but we love coming back here as Brenda and Tim are great hosts and the lake keeps us cool when we can no longer bear the summer heat.

Family getaway

The house was perfect! It had everything you needed and the extras that you forgot at home. The house was incredibly clean and the beds were like sleeping on a cloud. Access to the water was a huge bonus. We brought a huge floating pad and spent one day just floating outside the house. I can whole heartedly agree with the other reviews and give it 10 out of 10! If you’re looking for a nice relaxing getaway, then this is where you need to stay.

Serenity at its finest!

There are not enough things we could say about this property! Let’s start with the view….it surely couldn’t get much better! A little slice of heaven in God’s country! The sunrises and sunsets were like portraits you only see on postcards! The house perfectly laid out with a bathroom in each room and another on the first floor. The bedrooms were so comfortable and inviting! The kitchen literally has everything you need!! We grocery shopped and got what we needed and ate our only 4 times in 8 days. We just didn’t want to leave the property! The deck/patio, bar and grill area were perfect for those rainy nights, enough space for everyone! The kayaks were so much fun, we got a chance to teach and practice with our son and we had a ball just floating in the lake! The pontoon boat rental was a fabulous way to see the lake and your map and swim hole ideas were fantastic! The lounge chairs by the lake perfect! Our only suggestion would be to get some Andirobdack chairs for around the fire.

Perfect getaway

What an amazing experience. We were looking for a quick long weekend getaway and are already looking to book a full week by the end of summer. Such a nice property, the layout is well thought out. Private dock don't forget to look into renting the boat as well cant beat being able to explore the lake. Clear quiet nights in the hot-tub overlooking the lake. Each room has an amazing view of the lake and surrounding hillsides. This one is might be a best kept secret. If you want to unplug - fish-boat-swim.. this is the one! Clean house - nice beds and an amazing view from every point. Owner was easy to keep in communication with and prompt as well. Thanks!

Relaxing Serene Lake Retreat

Wonderful! This property was at the end of the lake so we had almost no boat traffic. Since you face a national forest, the view was superb. The pontoon we rented was fun and the dock was perfect for relaxing. It was very private and had everything needed to cook and hang out. The back deck is fenced in so perfect for our dog. He enjoyed his vacation with us and was sad to leave.

Always an amazing family vacation

Brenda and Tim are excellent hosts and it's a pleasure that they're willing to share their home for families like us to enjoy the lake. We had an amazing time and this is our second rental here and both experiences have been great. Will definitely be re-visiting in the future!

Waters Edge

Gorgeous home right on the lake. Owner promptly responded to any questions or concerns. Plush comfortable mattresses. Huge porch facing lake made it feel like we were sitting almost on top of lake. Spent 5 relaxing days here. From house to boat dock is approximately 40 ft. Walk, Absolutely no regrets about choosing this place for our family vacation

Tennessee in the Fall

What a wonderful home!! We had an amazing time! The house was wonderfully clean, fun decor, perfect location! We truly enjoyed using the boat to get a vivid view of the fall colors on the lake. The fire pit and hot tub were outstanding. We will definitely be back!

Weekend on the Lake

My family and I had a wonderful time spending a few days at the lake. What a view sitting on the dock looking at the lake with the mountains surrounding. We enjoyed our time and wish we could have stayed several more days.

Perfect spot!

This lake house was a perfect location to play, relax and enjoy the family. Super clean and easy to book. Renting the pontoon was a plus. Would stay here again in a heartbeat.
