Nestled among stunning natural granite rock outcroppings,. this stunning, three level, 3600 sq ft home features four spacious bedrooms, 3.5 baths and decks on two levels. Its massive great room boasts an inviting river rock fireplace, vaulted ceilings and large windows capture natural light and the tranquil view of tall pines swaying in the wind. This luxurious, exceptionally detailed modern mountain home has several entertaining levels and plenty of decks; enabling both indoor and outdoor living. The home includes a dream kitchen, barbeque, serene views, Ping Pong, Shuffleboard, Foosball and a private soaking tub; providing a well deserved respite retreat from busy life. Fast internet and a land line telephone are available should the need arise. Conveniently located within the infamous and highly desirable Skyland neighborhood, Raven's Nest Retreat is ideally situated within short walking distance to a private neighborhood beach and miles of hiking trails within the Sierra forest. Great Location & Home

The property is in a very quiet, friendly neighborhood with access to a community beach. The home has a spacious kitchen, dining room and living room that easily support 10 people. Property management is excellent to work with.

Sky Land home

House was great for our group. Awesome to have 4 baths. Kitchen was very well stocked but they only provided 2 kitchen trash bags. Beds were all kings and very comfy. Plenty of towels. Fun game room at top of house. Only really two drawbacks: there are tons of stairs. I don’t think this was well disclosed in write up. 28 exterior stairs to get up to the lowest floor! Then another 10 or so. This house would NOT work for anyone with mobility issues. 2nd, the deck setting wasn’t great. Undersized for the size of house and not really useable for all 10 of us together. Hot tub was nice and house is super close to Zephyr Cove so we had a great time.

Huge property with all the bells and whistles you would need to enjoy your stay. This quiet neighborhood is close to their own private beach with lots of water toys you can utilize. John was a super host and provided lots of local recommendations for us. About an 8 minute drive to the boarder.

Zephyr Cove: Great Spot

We get together in Lake Tahoe, every year with our family, but prefer sandy beaches whenever possible. This property is located less than a half mile, which is walkable, from the Private Glenbrook beach. The beach is for residents only, with a passes from the owner of the property we were able to fully enjoy a terrific beach, clean, & not crowded. The house has every amenity you need, including a third level with shuffleboard, foosball, and a card table for games. Plenty of seating for everyone, TVs in almost every room, Wi-Fi access, everything you need to enjoy a great stay with family or friends.

Everything about our stay was more than we hoped! The house was beautiful, spacious, well equipped, great for a family getaway! The neighborhood was stunning! A nice walk through the neighborhood to the private beach, which we all loved. The kids in our family were in vacation heaven. I can’t say enough about the hospitality of our host .. thank you John. We will definitely stay again

Great location, quiet community, relaxing with private beach

Overall, nice, and welcoming property and surroundings. Had some concerns over the county's limitation of cars given we had family coming from different locations, but it didn't turn out to be an issue. House was nice and comfortable, with enough activities indoors along with relaxing decks to hang out - kitchen had all we needed to prepare food for 8 of us. Property owner happened to be staying in the apartment above the garage, which was a surprise, but I enjoyed the brief conversation we had, and he kindly shared a bottle of wine with our family - we were appreciative of his home and general courtesy. I was also grateful for the "little kid" items that were above and beyond what we needed including highchair, gate, travel crib, etc. We forgot a highchair, and this was so nice to have already there. The beach is a long walk (1/2 mile) or short drive away and requires a permit in your vehicle and person as it is private for community members - it looks small on the photos, but we had plenty of space and there were at least 20 other people of all ages there. House has a lot of stairs, which looking back I didn't really think much of until I had to make about 10 trips up and down with gear from my truck to unpack and then another 10x to re-pack to go home. I would readily stay here again mainly for the space (in and around the house) and private beach access.

Honest helpful understanding host! The Best!!

Large house with hot tub set among the forest of elite homeowners. Tranquil and quiet community a few blocks away from a private beach on Lake Tahoe. John (host) lent to lent his 2 personal kayaks to our group to use. Thank you!! You made our trip memorable and I must mention a clean house with fresh towels made the weekend Complete!!

Excellent Weekend on The Lake

We had a great weekend in Tahoe and the house accommodated of perfectly with our group of 8. All King beds which is hard to find for a group of adults. The home came with all the amenities you would need for the, kitchen, bath, and entertainment. All with just a short walk to the neighborhood private beach. We would definitely book here again!

Great cabin and location!

Had a great time at the cabin. The host was very responsive and accommodated an early check in. The house had everything we needed and more! Loved the vaulted ceiling’s and overall coziness of the cabin. The home is a great size and located about 10 minutes from the Casinos and 5 minutes from Safeway. We couldn’t of asked for a better place to stay. Would stay here again!

Great Place

We enjoyed our stay at Skyline. Beautiful home and great location. The home comfortably slept 8 people. I will mention there is not a bunkbed room as shown in the main picture. However, all bedrooms are king size beds and super comfortable. We would absolutely stay at this home again.
