We loved our stay. It was so quiet and the views were gorgeous. The house was spotless and we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Do not hestitate to rent this home. We spent time at Georgetown lake, Storm Lake, and Echo Lake! All three were beautiful! We also loved Phillipsburg.

Beautiful, spacious home minutes from lake

Our family had a lovely stay at Dorothy’s home located a short drive from public access to Georgetown Lake. The house was immaculate, and Dorothy responded to questions immediately and helpfully. We had plenty of space for our large group. We enjoyed the valley view and the privacy of the property. Thank you!

Montana!

My nephew, son and my son's girlfriend drove from Texas to this beautiful cabin in Montana. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The cabin was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved sitting outside at night watching the stars and enjoying a glass of wine. We spent a day in Philipsburg, a day in Anaconda, we visited Butte and we took a scenic route to Darby, Hamilton and Missoula. We also watched the eagles on the lake that was still frozen. Overall this was a wonderful trip. We all agreed it was spectacular!!

Winter serenity!

Super peaceful and quiet just what we needed to get grounded and spend time together. Quick drive to Discovery the lake and Sweet Palace in Philipsburg. Would absolutely recommend.

Amazing Ski Home

We stayed at this home with our family of 4 for a ski weekend at Discovery. The home was perfect and so comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone, a fully stocked kitchen for cooking, and some nice welcome surprises! Thank you so much for sharing your home with us!

Spring Break

This cabin offered us peace and quiet, while also offering plenty of opportunities to recreate within a short distance. Dorothy provided everything needed for check-in and check-out. No issues at all, highly recommended.

We had a great stay! The deck was fabulous for morning coffee. Everyone had a little space for themselves and we could all gather in the shared spaces comfortably.

Fabulous home and host!

What a beautiful home and setting. Seriously the online pictures don’t do this home justice, it’s that nice! Communication with the owner was excellent. I can’t say enough about how well equipped the home is and how nice the area is. Looking forward to staying even longer next visit.

Amazing and Perfect!!

Stayed June 22-27,2023 This is such an amazing place - felt like home as soon as we walked in the door! It was easy to see the craftsmanship and love that went into making this home! The decor was perfect and the views were stunning - we took so many pictures of the sunsets over the valley and mountain ranges. We were entertained by chipmunks, prairie dogs and the deer that grazed nearby in the evenings. One day as we were near the cabin driveway, we saw a huge Gray Owl - sitting on a fence post! One of the best pictures of our trip! The area was so quite and peaceful - exactly what we were looking for. The home was equipped with everything we needed and more! We enjoyed the wine and chocolates, compliments of the owner who was very responsive and helpful to us as we were planning our trip. We enjoyed using the grill and eating outside on the massive deck. Watching the sunsets from the deck was so relaxing and beautiful! We would definitely stay here again and would recommend it highly to others! Thank you for sharing your home with us! As one member of our family kept saying - “this place is Amazing and Perfect!”….. and it was!

Late Spring Stay at Beautiful Log Home on Georgetown Lake

We had a fabulous time and Dorothy's and Ralph's beautiful, custom log home, which has amazing views of the Philipsburg Valley to the west, and easy access to Georgetown Lake, Philipsburg, Rock Creek, and Anaconda. The home had more than enough room for our family of four adults and two children, and the amenities provided made our stay as comfortable as one could expect. Everything we could need was provided, including a baby gate for the stairs and kindling, wood, and chairs stocked by the fire pit, along with everything one needs for cooking in the handsomely-appointed kitchen (and two complimentary bottles of wine and locally-made chocolates). It's obvious that Dorothy and Ralph put their hearts and souls into building this beautiful and unique home/cabin, and they clearly take pride in sharing the amazing experience it offers with others.

Great Family Ski Trip

We had a great time. The house was very comfortable and easily accommodated all 8 of us and a couple of dogs. The kitchen was well appointed and having a grill was nice. The proximity to Discovery for our ski trip was great and I imagine it would be nice for the lake in the summer. The views were the best part. Stunning!

Beautiful Views

What a beautiful place to stay! The house has a lot of room for everyone to spread out and was very clean. There were great views of the mountains during the day and stars at night. We enjoyed skiing at Discovery one day and cross country skiing the second day. Only recommendation is you do need all wheel drive to get up to the house in the winter. The main road was plowed but our van got stuck going up the long unplowed driveway.
