Perfect getaway!

I’ve been going to SML since 2004, and this has been the best stay yet! The property is perfectly located on one of the best coves on the lake. Townhome was very spacious, clean, and the amenities provided (including the use of the boat) absolutely made the trip perfect. We will definitely stay at this property again in the future!

Smith Lake

The location of this property is outstanding and a place I would visit again. The pontoon boat, kayaks and fishing gear made it the perfect house for my three active grandsons. We had the best time and they went back to England very happy.

Great house on the lake!!

Fantastic place to celebrate my dad’s 80th birthday! Boat use with the rental really made the trip! Plenty of room for everyone! I would highly recommend!

The property was great and so was the pontoon. The lake is beautiful. The neighborhood was very quiet and well kept. Andy did a great job of answering all of our questions and always responded promptly. The townhouse we stayed in was well laid out and very spacious.

We held our 50th family reunion at Smith Mountain Lake. This place was well appointed, clean and comfortable. The boat performed well and we used to explore the lake. Excellent communication with the host!

Perfect Getaway

Everything was perfect. The house was clean and well stocked. The boat ran perfectly and was the highlight of our stay allowing us to really enjoy the lake. Owner communication was fantastic.

Great location and view with convenient amenities and on point owner.

The condo was very clean, spacious and had all the amenities that most would need. There was a nice long view of the lake from the back balcony to enjoy with your morning coffee. It was attractively decorated and comfortable. All the appliances worked as intended (which is not always the case in my experience). The walk to the boat slip, swimming beach area and pool were about 3 minutes...not bad at all even with a cooler and gear. The boat was practically new and showed little wear. We had a great time on the lake with the boat. It had enough power to go tubing, ran very smoothly and offered plenty of space. The boat did have an unexpected mechanical issue the last day but the owner was SUPER RESPONSIVE and arranged our tow back to the condo and refunded us for the loss of use of the boat for the day. He was apologetic and he even texted to make sure we got back okay. Great owner! I highly recommend this getaway and would love to return.

Great Lake house

Immaculate townhouse right on the water that came with a pontoon boat that we used to ski and tube and fish and tour the lake. Owners were responsive when we there was an issue with one of the showerheads. Please read the listing - there is no place to dock your boat overnight if you bring yours - so we left our at home and used theirs! Would recommend this place to anyone.

Fabulous accommodations

We were so pleased with this 5 bedroom townhouse. The space was much larger than we expected. Great lake views from the porch and bedrooms. All of us loved the downstairs area. The ping pong table was a huge hit for both the adults and kids. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you will need. The dining room table is very large so we didn’t have any trouble finding space for everyone to eat together. We usually tow our boat when we visit SML but having the tritoon come with this rental was amazing. Saved us a lot of frustration and time. The boat is a short walk from the townhouse maybe 2 minutes. If you do need to drive to the dock there is a small paved path you can drive down to the dock. This was very convenient for my dad as he doesn’t get around that easily. If you like extra bath towels bring some with you. Towels are provided by one towel per person. Overall we loved this rental and would highly recommend it. The owner is very responsive and extremely helpful. Can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful time!

We just returned from our vacation and had lots of opportunity to bond, create memories and connect. Communication with the owner was very clear, attentive and accommodating. There was a fantastic little beach just over the hill where we kayaked, sat under the trees, and could just unwind. It was perfect for our little guys to play while the bigger kids enjoyed the pool or swimming a little farther out. The owners really took the time to ensure all needs were met and we really enjoyed our time together. Everyone surrounding the property was incredibly kind as well!

Last minute summer getaway

We just returned home from a stay at this lovely townhouse on the water at Smith Mountain Lake. We were 3 families and children. The house was much bigger than it seemed in pictures with space to hang out for the kids in the basement and adults on the balcony or in the family room/kitchen. The kitchen was well stocked with pans and tools PLUS spacious enough for multiple adults to help prepare meals. The grill was in great shape - and the kids loved being able to swim and use the kayaks & paddleboard in the garage in sight of the balcony & back patio. The beds & upstairs couch were very comfortable and the table and bar was large enough to accommodate all of us for meals. Fantastic trip and house!

Great stay

Great stay. Family time. We had a great stay. Only minor negative is gas grill was not a working grill and advertisement said had grill. This grill is worn out. We actually brought specefic food to grill and could not use it. Everything else was great

Property was very spacious and well decorated. Description does not specify about boat rules though. THERE IS NO BOAT SLIP, or even cleats to tie off to! We hauled our 27 ft Sea Ray down and were told we would have to put in/pull out everyday. Also advertised is temporary trailer storage-which was very small and housing about 4-5 other trailers. Neighbors said this was not the first time tenants arrived with boats and were uninformed about boat restrictions. Overall location & property were great, but very disappointed with the boat situation. The owner did respond to messages, but we would not have spent what we did on the rental if we would’ve known we couldn’t keep our boat there!

Great long weekend stay

The property is as advertised and the pictures are accurate. Unlike traditional townhomes, this is a 2 level home so it is very wide and spacious on both levels. Andy, the owner, is very responsive! The kitchen is well equipped and having access to the kayaks /paddleboard. Just note that the back of the home does not have direct access to get in the lake (you can see the lake but the dock is about 30 yards away). The neighborhood location is very convenient to the State Park entrance(mile down the street) which makes it convenient to come and go from the park. Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Very nice place

The place is nicely decorated, spacious and clean and has a great view of the lake. The amenities are great too. And the check-in and check-out processes were easy. The one thing I'd focus on when booking is ensuring you have a place to dock your boat if you're renting on the lake or bringing your own boat. We had to find some random cleats to tie to because the owner's slot is occupied by their boat. Other than that, it was great.
