Clean, Comfy and Cozy

Nice to find such a beautiful secluded retreat within minutes to great shopping/dining, with the added bonus of a caring, thoughtful proprietor. Everything (furniture, kitchen, bath, linens) reflected a high level of care, comfort, quality and most importantly, cleanliness.

This property is absolutely amazing! It’s clear that every detail has been designed and appointed with care and love. My room was cozy, impeccably clean, and beautifully styled, making it a perfect retreat. The location is fantastic, the grounds are peaceful and serene, and the amenities are top-notch. Communication with the property manager was quick and seamless, making the entire experience effortless. If I could give 10 stars, I would! Highly recommend!

Lovely Retreat in Woodside

We truly enjoyed our stay in this studio located on a beautiful property near the heart of Woodside. The kitchen with marble counters was well outfitted, the living space was refined and comfortable, and the king bed was sumptuous. We had access to the pool and patio areas, which were gorgeous. The hosts were highly responsive. I highly recommend a visit.

Luxury +++

The apartment is luxurious and well kept. It is very comfortable and has everything required – e.g. fridge, microwave, Nespresso and (brand new) washer and dryer, A/C – required for a short or an extended stay. The pool and spa are wonderful amenities and we enjoyed them. The host is extremely responsive and quickly answers questions. We had a wonderful time and will definitely be going back again.

Tranquil Stay

Renting a place to stay for one month is something that you hope you get right. I sure did at this lovely home! The beautiful architecture and grounds were soothing and quiet. The room with a kitchen had all the amenities necessary to make my stay comfortable and luxurious. The onsite owner, Qian was always available for anything I needed. The location in the quaint town of Woodside allowed me to go for beautiful daily walks in the countryside and there is an awesome grocery store and coffee shop within walking distance. I highly recommend this sanctuary. Already planned my next stay :)

Wonderful Studio in Woodside

This property in Woodside is a rare combination of convenient to everything, while giving the feeling of a remote getaway. Whether for work or recharging, this studio can be a perfect temporary home for a solo traveler or couple. As a studio, the room is very intelligently designed to break up the space and provide some privacy without breaking the flow. The full kitchen turns this property from a room into a home!It is *possible* to walk to all the amenities Woodside has to offer: Village Pub, Robert’s Market, Buck’s, and more. However, be aware this does require crossing an intersection that is not designed for pedestrians. I did it several times and was generally comfortable doing so. I may not recommend it for children or older adults. Over all, a wonderful stay!

Exquisite retreat

This property is a large, stunning estate type home which has a few unique units within carved out for VRBO stays. We stayed in the “Oak Suite” for seven days. The suite is a studio apartment with a king bed, comfy sitting area and lovely little kitchen. Great light, sparkling clean.The grounds are gorgeous with flower beds and a pool. Most important was the access to town- just a short 5-7 minute walk to amazing restaurants, grocery and a wonderful coffee shop. 10/10.Things to note:-because it was called the “Oak Suite” we thought the bedroom would be separate. It should be renamed the “Oak Studio” for clarity. We still loved it. - if there is someone staying in the unit above the oak suite you can hear them walking around. This was only an issue for us the first night. -the walk to town is short and quick and great for adults. However if I had small kids on the walk with me I would be a little wary of the first road you cross. It’s doable with kids but requires some scampering. Overall we would love to stay again. Woodside is a special town with amazing access to the redwoods- check out “Alice’s Restaurant” and the gardens at Filoli. Thank you!!

Beautiful grounds, convenient location, responsive host

We had a lovely time in Qian’s luxurious guest suite. It was very clean, tidy and thoughtfully appointed. The grounds are stunning and we enjoyed relaxing in the spa and just sitting outside. Qian was warm, inviting, and responsive We would stay here again.

A Home for my Family in Woodside!

My family and I fell in love with the suite in Qian's home and beautiful Woodside! The property is absolutely beautiful with amazing landscape, green lawns and walkable paths. The pool and pool cabana are so inviting yet so luxurious. The suite is simply perfect; private parking with a quaint private entry greet you upon the entry to the suite. The suite is so bright with lots of natural sunlight, the windows can be left open all day and night for fresh air. The suite is impeccably decorated, fresh and very clean. The suite offers everything you need, a well furnished kitchen, washer and dryer, large closet for storage, and both daytime window treatments and nighttime window treatments for cozy sleeping. The greenhouse right outside the suite's front door is the prefect place for a morning coffee. Check in was so easy and Qian was warm and inviting in welcoming us to her home. My two young sons absolutely loved the property, the suite and the pool. They did not want to leave. We have family in the area and Qian's property will no doubt be our home to stay for our visits to Woodside. Thank you Qian, we will see you again soon!
