The Magnolia is located on the Main Lake at Mile Marker 17 and provides the perfect setting for memories that will last a lifetime.  Conveniently located just a few miles from Interstate 85, the property is approximately 1 hour away from both Raleigh and Richmond, making it easily accessible for guests traveling from these major cities. If you'd like to explore the surrounding area, the award-winning Rosemont Winery, Shady Shack Bar and Grill, and Tanglewood Shores Golf Club's 9-hole golf course are all just a few miles down the road.  The town of South Hill is just 20 minutes away and offers convenient stores including Wal-Mart, Food Lion, CVS Pharmacy, Starbucks and several restaurants.

A few more tid-bits...  :)

1.  Trained service animals are welcome!  Otherwise, we have a strict "no pets" policy.  We can help arrange lodging for your pets at a local boarding facility during your stay. Please let us know well in advance, as they fill up fast.

2.  The house, like 99% of all lake homes on Lake Gaston, uses a septic system.  This system is a finely balanced biological system.  Please help us keep it working flawlessly by flushing ONLY toilet paper.  Renters are responsible for any damage caused by misuse.

3.  Bow-Riders and deep draft Wake Board boats need to check their Hummingbirds to ensure adequate depth in all coves.  Pontoons should have no issues and everyone is welcome to tie off at the dock with rental boats. Please make sure to bring your bumpers!.

4.  Culverts & Bridges:  Be sure to lower your Bimini top when going under bridges or through culverts.  Appearances can be deceiving, and the water levels can flucuate daily!

5.  Life Jackets: While a variety of life jackets are provided, they are not guaranteed in every size. Please bring life jackets specific to individual needs.
