This was our first stay on Lake Erie and Jennifer was great to work with. She made the reservation and check in processes so easy. She shared helpful information about the house and we knew what to expect. Things were even in place for our fur baby. She was always quick to respond to questions. We enjoyed our visit very much and hope to go again sometime.

Loved our stay. Much to do in the area. Great view. Comfortable bedrooms and baths. The sound of the waves at night easy to sleep to. Access to beach bit of a problem. Was told about that. Floor in dinning room in need of repair but not a huge problem for our stay.

Beautiful Lake Front Property.

This was our first experience renting a vacation home at Lake Erie, and this home was just amazing! The view! the view ,the view is literally to die for ! We were so happy with our choice. The home was more beautiful and comfortable than we had hoped. The house was exceptionally clean and extremely well stocked .The kitchen was amazing . Jen’s level of organization is top notch. Jen has the kitchen drawers and cabinets labeled with their contents. I personally found that to be a great touch , since it saves the guests time from going through all the cabinets looking for things . We enjoyed the goodies in the welcome basket that our host provided for us . My husband and I went to town on the Fourth of July and visited a local restaurant by the boardwalk. The locals were so welcoming and the atmosphere was great . We spent the rest of our days at the house , admiring the lake’s beauty. We had a great time fishing, playing fun games , eating dinner while watching the sunset . Jen was very quick to respond if we had any questions. She was very nice and kept in contact once in a while to make sure everything was to our liking, I would recommend this property to anyone, you won't be disappointed!

Relax on the Lake

The cottage was a few feet from the shore of Lake Erie. The gentle breeze coming through the windows was refreshing. The waves lapping on the shore was very relaxing. Jen the owner had the home fully stocked. I was amazed at how well she treated me. I assume she treated all her renters the same way. I'll definitely return for future visits.

Fantastic views!

This property was absolutely gorgeous!! Jen really did think of all the little things!! The beautiful sunsets and the peaceful sound of the crashing waves are just so relaxing!! Public Beaches close by and so many wineries!! Fish weren't biting much but was really fun to see the bald eagles fishing right from the lake!! Just pull up one of the Adirondack chairs and watch the waves you won't regret this relaxing choice!!

Amazing Lake Views & Relaxation!

I was looking for a place that was on the water and a place that was enough by itself for a relaxing vacation for my family. Wow ~ Did I find it!! The cottage was exactly as pictured, very cozy, yet roomy for 6 adults and 2 dogs. The lake was beautiful and the sunsets were breathtaking! I sat in the Adirondack chair by the water for hours, just enjoying the view and the sound of the waves.. A night storm rolled in over the lake and gave us a spectacular lightning show! The sound of the waves crashing lulled you to relaxation. We rented Jen's kayaks which were so enjoyable! A couple of us had never kayaked before and we kayaked into the sunset which was very serene. Jen was an amazing host and made sure the cottage was stocked with everyday essentials. During our stay we visited a few wineries which were close by and brought back some souvenirs. If you're looking for a relaxing, beautiful place on the water this is it!

A Long Birthday weekend

Jen, the host, was amazing. A great communicator who went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. We arrived a little early and caught her finishing up some last Minute touches. We got a personal tour of property and little helpful tips. She even messaged mid stay about a meteor shower and clear skies for viewing. The cottage was quaint and cozy but with enough room for everyone and several little nooks for reading or relaxing. The weather was perfect and even though there is no air conditioning we stayed nice and cool during our 75 degree weekend. The cottage is wonderfully appointed and we are already planning another trip back. It is a perfect step off point for exploring the area and daytripping to Niagara Falls. We also enjoyed several local restaurants and wineries as well as fall fun at Harveat View Greenhouses. Top notch! Would highly recommend (but maybe I shouldn’t and keep this little gem all to myself)

Perfect getaway for r & r

This property truly is special. The location is serene as you fall asleep to the sound of waves, and wake up to them in the morning. We live inland so being by this large body of water was soothing for the soul. People pay for white noise of waves crashing; we felt like we were actually by the sea the whole time! The cottage itself was miraculous. Cozy atmosphere, spacious but not too big. I'm not even sure how one accomplishes a feeling of intimacy while not being cramped, but this cottage achieves that. There's plenty of space for different people to do different things if you need to get away during your getaway! From the reading nook upstairs, to the playroom downstairs, to the space on the deck, the upstairs balcony, or grab the Adirondack chairs out right by the water! Most of the house fills with sunlight during the day, and the light décor really brings your spirits to a realm of relaxation. The master bedroom with the balcony is perfectly laid out and very spacious. The shower downstairs is spa like and has everything you need. I am usually skeptical about rainfall showerheads, but this one is not a drizzle, it's an even waterfall that may be one of the best rain showers I've come across so far. After many of those refreshing showers, burying my face into the luxurious towels that smelled so fresh and clean was a perfectly gift wrapped experience. Everything you need all in one place, I literally did not leave the house during our whole stay. What I loved most was how thoughtful the host was, down to storage containers and bags that came handy after meals. I'm not sure I've been to many rentals that offered this daily convenience that you don't think about packing with you when you're traveling. As a tea drinker, I was also appreciative of the kettle, as most rentals cater to coffee drinkers. The wi-fi was strong so we were able to work, however there were not many options for workspaces with a view other than the dining room... at the same time, we were trying not to work! I did enjoy writing and coloring out on the deck table. My family took a day trip up to Niagara Falls, and hit a few wineries while coming back. They enjoyed the easy trip to see one of the world's great wonders, hitting a few lighthouses along the way too. If you're looking to spend some time to recharge and rest, this place will likely hit all the spots. It felt like home to me, and I was very content. My husband and dog were able to unwind as well. Absolutely amazing!!

This house was just absolutely fantastic! We were looking for a place close to Niagara, which is just a short 75 min drive away. The house is exceptional - Jen had every detail covered! From the decor to the fully stocked kitchen to amazing shower head — we were blown away!! The communication leading up to and during our stay was superb!! Also — that VIEW!!! Dinners on the back patio watching the sunset we’re the highlight of the trip. Thank you so much for a wonderful vacation and making us feel right at home!

Beautiful home

We had such a nice stay and the owners were amazing. The home is beautiful and the views spectacular. Everything was clean, plenty of games and things for the kids, comfortable beds, and plenty of media. We will definitely be back.

Amazing views, everything you need, superhost

The views of the lake are stunningly gorgeous! 180-degrees of water. Every morning began with breakfast on the deck and bald eagle sightings. We spent all day reading and watching the boaters and jet-skiers from the extra lounge chairs that Jen provided. Every night ended in a perfect sunset. Jen's house is in a quiet residential neighborhood and the landscaping made the deck feel very private. The wave sounds, lake breezes, and the floor fan made for perfect sleeping conditions. Jen provided everything we needed for a quick and easy getaway - even snacks and drinks when we arrived. The kitchen is very well equipped and the house is supplied with all the little things that make a stay special and comfortable. Jen was very responsive and clearly wanted us to have a great stay - a superhost for sure. We're looking forward to another visit soon!

Very clean, excellent communication

Beautiful location. The weather wasn't terribly cooperative during our stay, but all of the amenities made it easy to just stay in and relax. A short drive from Point Gratiot where you can look for sea glass and swim.
