Cozy cabin retreat in rustic setting. Private lake, bonfire under the stars!

This newly renovated cabin has private lake access, just a 1 minute drive to the gate. Hill Haven was a cabin community from its beginning over 70 years ago. Each has a spacious lot. Enjoy peaceful evenings under the stars around a bonfire. Visit local charming towns. Activities in the area include kayaking, canoeing, boating, hiking, shopping and dining at local towns. This sweet cabin has 3 cozy bedrooms and a surprisingly spacious bath for a smaller cabin, full kitchen with electric stovetop. Light a roaring fire, grill some steaks or burgers. Walk to the lake and spend a relaxed day or watch the sun set. Have fun in our "Slice of Haven"!

Wonderfully relaxing getaway!

We love staying here for a calm getaway from our normal busy life. Access to the private beach, the quietness of the neighborhood, and the cabin has everything we could need for a restful vacation.

Weekend family trip

We took a quick weekend trip, the adults and the kids had fun and enjoyed the property. There is a great little lake a one minute drive from the house that provided a lot of fun.

Great Little Place

This property was clean and in good shape. Was in a convenient location that worked well for us and we enjoyed our stay. My only suggestion would be to get softer beds as they were a little stiff for our liking, other than that would have given 5 stars.

Cute property that has been recently renovated. It was perfect for our weekend trip to visit family at a nearby lake. The bathroom was stocked with toiletries and the kitchen had coffee supplies as well as condiments, which was helpful. We didn’t take advantage of the backyard amenities, but the set up was nice. Tanya was a great host - very responsive and helpful.

Cozy Cabin Retreat

This place is definitely cozy! Very well kept. The placement of the TV for the size that it is was a little awkward for relaxing on the couch. But nice for viewing at the table. Also... a very sunny lot with no shade trees. But it's a beautiful yard for sun lovers. We got lots of rest which was exactly what we wanted! Thank you.

Cute & Cozy

Such a cute lil cabin. Bonfires and comfy beds. Quiet neighborhood & Access to private lake. We stayed here for trail riding. We ended up trailering to Harrison trailhead (about 20 min drive). Rode to Leota and then to Houghton Lake. Don’t trust your gps when finding this place in the dark!! Follow the directions she gives you!!! Will definitely stay here again
