Although our cottage sleeps 4, it's real charm is allowing couples a cozy spot to reconnect take a relaxing soak in the hot tub & spend evenings by the fire pit.
Take a short walk to Silver Lake to use the provided tandem kayak.
(Launch is about a block away
30-35 minutes from major cities-Cadillac, Clare, Mt. pleasant -
Very clean, sweet little family-owned cottage-time to unwind and reconnect.

The location was quiet and peaceful. The hot tub was turned up to temperature when we arrived, which was lovely. The beds are super comfy.

A great little space for a quiet reading weekend with a friend. I wish the bedrooms had curtains (no doors) that went to the floor. Other than that, a nice place.

We had a blast

This property was cozy and quaint and perfect for our needs to visit with family. It was perfectly pet friendly for our dog. The only setback was that the jacuzzi filter was not clean and some work had to go into cleaning it in order to use the jacuzzi. All in all we had a wonderful time at this quaint and cozy cottage.

Quick Trip

Really didn’t get to take in the full effect of Silver Lake, as this was just used as a mid way destination to the UP. However the cottage was very nice and cozy! Hot tub was nice and warm. Would visit again!

The property was clean, well stocked and the hot tub was amazing. Communication was wonderful the owner always responded quickly with any answers I needed. The use of the kayak and lake are wonderful amenities, we unfortunately couldn’t use kayak, too heavy for my daughter and I to put on car and due to health issues to heavy for me to carry to lake, but a definite plus. Lake conveniently located, we fished, swam and watched sunrise. Definitely worth going back and recommending.

We had an excellent stay! Everything was clean and super cute, the owners had everything spelled out in a little binder and were very responsive when needed, and it was an easy process! Highly recommended!

Location is good a little walk to the lake, but a beautiful view. How cozy the house felt. The hot tub was nice after a long day to relax and unwind. My husband and I love to go rock hunting. He’s a geologist so going to Lake Michigan was our number one priority and it did not disappoint. It’s only a little over an hour drive from the house. We also got to go to Mackinac Island, which was really cool to see the horse and buggy all of the bikes and we got to see the arch rock so cool to see in person well worth the drive. The house was good felt clean the only thing the house could use a little sprucing up and a brand new showerhead in the bathroom but we would stay there again.

Nice and cozy

Place was very clean and cozy. Hot tub was a nice plus as well. Shower was a little small for us and the faucet to adjust the tempature was super picky about positioning but all things we could work thorough on a short trip. Overall a pleasant stag.

Exactly as advertised. It’s a cottage. Shower is small but reasonable. A bit of an odd layout but serviceable for a couple. If I had a single surprise it was that there wasn’t a door to the bedroom. Not a big deal unless one of you has insomnia and is wandering half the night. We enjoyed our stay. Communication was great. There was a ln area power outage in the area and our hosts were right there letting us know there was an issue and making sure we were ok

Anniversary get away

We stayed for the weekend for our 12th anniversary. The house is warm and inviting. Super clean. The hot tub area is so fun. We really loved how we were able to close off all the curtains. It was super cold both nights so being able to close it off kept us pretty warm. 10/10

It was overall all we needed . We were here for a Wedding so just a place to sleep and relax. It was good.slept comfortable. But the place really needs some TLC. Because the up keep could use some work. And when we first got there had to deal with fly situation. But the place was clean as far as bedding and towels. And window air in the bedrooms was nice.
