Beautiful Riverfront Home

Looking for a relaxing and peaceful get away? Look no further! The Tobacco riverfront home in Farwell is serene yet provides all the conveniences of home. A fully equipped kitchen to prepare your favorite meals. Cozy, layered beds and an indoor electric fireplace. Sit on the deck, or in the dining room and enjoy the view of the river. Downtown Clare is just a 5 minute drive with plenty of shops and restaurants. CMU and Soaring Eagle casino are 25 minutes away.
Located on the Tobacco River which is known for trout. Most of the year it is fairly shallow. This home shares a large yard with another one of our properties. The deck has a cushioned patio set so that you can enjoy the view and sounds of the river. Along with a propane grill for summer meals. Inside you will find a large dining room open to the eat in kitchen and living area. The kitchen is stocked with everything you'll need for a home cooked meal. The bathroom will have essential toiletries. We provide all linens and several throw blankets to ensure you're always comfy. The bedrooms both have their own TV and noise machine to combat any road noise light sleepers may hear. One of the best things about this cabin is its proximity to downtown Clare. Just a five minute drive to so many amazing restaurants and cute shops. We hope to have the opportunity to provide a memorable get away for you and your family or friends.

We enjoyed staying here for our family weekend away! It was cozy and we loved the decor (especially the wooden countertop ). The beds were comfortable and the house seems to have everything that you’d need. I loved the water source above the stove, it was too cool! The communication was great and we will definitely be back! Just a heads up to anyone who may be arriving at night like we did, it’s off of a main road and is somewhat hard to find in the dark. Look for the pink garbage can by the road. When you pull in, it’s a somewhat long and very dark drive down the driveway to get to the house. They do have motion lights once you get close to the house which was nice. Would for sure recommend this place!

Very nice property! The beds were very comfortable. Loved hearing the river while having coffee on the deck. Very well stocked with anything you any have forgot. Kitchen is stocked well also. Will definitely stay again!

The house was great including the deck. We felt that the river pictures were to old to be accurate. I expected more room to river fish but there are too many trees down to fish easily. The online pictures need to be updated to present an accurate picture. But this is the only downside to the trip. Nice property.

The host and property manager were excellent! There were several issues that needed addressing immediately and were handled with extreme promptness. Property didn't quite live up to the reviews and pictures, but was comfortable enough for our extended stay.

Lovely River Getaway

Can’t call it a river cabin, because it’s far too nice for that! This is a beautiful, spacious totally finished house on the Tobacco River between Clare and Farwell, MI. Every need for their guests is anticipated and taken care of. Beautiful kitchen, island bar, comfy couches in the great room. Outdoor deck and table overlooking the fast moving (shallow) river. Spacious yard. Close to town but far enough away to be peaceful. Some visitors have commented on this being on a busy 2 lane highway, but really, it was no bother. The bedrooms are spacious and well thought out. We loved our visit, and hope to return.

Extremely peaceful getaway

We had an amazing trip, home was very nice and comfortable, couldn’t have asked for anything more peaceful. The river was perfect for cooling down and the dogs had a blast. Would definitely recommend this property!

A staycation away from home

This property was secluded but not out of the way. Very clean and trendy! My husband and I were looking for a peaceful weekend away from kids and routine and this did the trick!! I was so comfortable here!

Nice getaway

Property owners were very attentive. All my questions were answered immediately. Lots of rest and relaxation for us and that's all we wanted!! Beds were extremely comfortable giving us good night sleeps!! We even saw the Northern lights!!!
