Beautiful Tiny Home log cabin on the lake - Perfect for a couples getaway!

This tiny log cabin has private lake access with a small kayak dock. Soak in the hot tub to start your dayUnfortunately, it is not large enough to dock a boat, but you can use the Douglas Lake Marina, about 10 minutes away, to launch your boat. There is one small kayak provided but feel free to bring your own. We do not provide life jackets. Please understand this rental is for couples only and maybe one small child, but not 3 adults. Excellent fishing, and is located just south of Dandridge (10 mins). Sevierville is 20 mins, Pigeon Forge is 30 mins, and Gatlinburg is 45 mins. You have the ability to be close to all the attractions without the hustle and bustle of staying in the city. The cabin is the last house in the cove, so there is very little boat traffic to interfere with your stay. It is attached to a larger home that sleeps 10, if you need room for a reunion, etc. The properties are separated by a 6 ft privacy fence. The lake is a TVA lake, so there is water from Memorial Day until late September ONLY. After that, there is NO WATER. Please see the pictures! There is still lots to do even out of season. This is a great getaway location for a relaxing long weekend or vacation for 2. The small floating dock set up for a kayak or canoe, is just a few steps below the cabin. H2O Watersports is about 1/2 mile up the road for anyone who wants to rent boats or jet skis.

*PLEASE UNDERSTAND: DOUGLAS LAKE IS DRAINED FROM OCT-MAY EVERY YEAR TO MAKE ELECTRICITY FOR LOCAL COUNTIES. THIS COVE HAS NO WATER FROM EARLY FALL THROUGH LATE SPRING!

*ABSOLUTELY NO PETS AND NO SMOKING INSIDE PLEASE!

There is plenty to do in Sevierville, Pigeon Forge, and Gatlinburg with world-class shopping and restaurants. Dollywood offers an awesome light show for Halloween and Christmas. And Gatlinburg is world-renowned for its Christmas light display.

It was a great little spot for a long weekend getaway! Appreciated the kitchen items and fans/AC being included. Comfy bed, pretty views (even with the lake drained), and amazing hot tub! Perfect place to stay!!

Perfect stay for a couples get away. Right off the lake, for plenty of fishing and swimming! Hot tub was a great bonus to the property. Kayak was provided at property which we took out on the water and also enjoyed.

Very cute cabin. Very clean and stocked well. Hot tub was great. Outside lights were perfect and didn’t take away from seeing the stars. Very nice neighbors around the cabin too. Not far from Smoky Mountain National Park and Bush’s factory! We saw lots of deer, turkey, elk and bear on this trip! Beautiful area. Would definitely recommend this property.

The property was absolutely gorgeous, with breath taking views all the way around. Property manager was amazing. Even checking in and making sure we had the best stay. We went for our 23rd wedding anniversary and it was the best vacay together yet! We will stay again.

Quiet area which was appreciated. My boyfriend caught some fish off the dock. Needed an extra roll of toilet paper and another garbage bag but overall we enjoyed our stay.

This place did not disappoint what you see in the posting is what you are getting perfect clean well maintained secluded but I didn’t think it was to far from anything and quite, especially going to Sevierville or Gatlinburg or pigeon Forge for the DAY coming back to this nice quiet place was heaven.

Cute tiny house, perfect for a couple. Beautiful scenery. Plenty of places to fish. The neighbors are awesome. They even took us for a ride around the lake. The owner communicates well. Weekend getaway

The cabin was adorable! Everything was clean and stocked. The water was the only issue we had, we were not aware of the smell of the water and it caught us off guard. Did not deter our weekend though.

We have owned vacation rentals in Asheville for over 20 years and loved the Lake Douglas area so we decided to make a move to the lake.

We love the area because there is lots to do. The mountains are beautiful and during the lake season the lake is warm and clear. Lake Douglas is great for fishing, boating, and swimming.
