Beautiful and expansive, this home is perfect for the whole family. Teens will love the game room above the garage, offering Ping-Pong, foosball, cornhole, and an oversized leather couch. Adults will love the screened porch overlooking the lake steps from the house. And children will practically live on the sandy beach or enjoy the playground, the volleyball court, horseshoes, and shuffleboard.

Nearby Schultz Park in Douglas offers pickleball and tennis. Be sure to check out the farmers market at the Saugatuck Art Center, and spend an afternoon wandering around the charming village. There are so many wonderful places to eat locally. You'll also have the Clearbrook Golf Club half a mile away, the Saugatuck Chain Ferry within two miles, and Oval Beach within three.

Boasting three floors, this home has a large primary bedroom and a private bathroom on the main floor. The lake walkout floor downstairs has a living area with cable TV, a French-themed bedroom, and a laundry room. The upstairs has two bedrooms: one with a lake view and one facing the woods. There are three different outdoor areas to congregate, all offering comfortable seating.

Great house for those with kids.

We had a great time here. There were a few hiccups but nothing major and we plan on staying here again. Short walk to a beach on a small lake. Heated pool access. Private house. We were able to have a small fire on the beach in a fire pit on our last night and had smores. Great place! Make sure you know exactly how to get to the house before you arrive. Google maps will steer you wrong!

Worked well for our group

The property was much smaller than it was portrayed. The upstairs garage for ping pong and such was very dirty, very hot, so if you plan to use it, you will need to clean it up, very small. Our reservation was transferred to Vacasa and they were hard to get a hold of with any questions. No instructions on what to do with garbage, parking is tough with 4 vehicles, had to back all the way out of the long drive. Was clean and comfortable, plenty of dishes and utensils. Very few dish towels and no washcloths. Location to beach and lake were great and it is tucked back in the trees for shade and quietness. Overall loved our stay.

Saugatuck Beach House

Overall very good. WI-FI quit after a day and a half. Not so good at all. We tried to reconnect. No luck. Nice private beach

Great location. Beach and finishing are right in your “backyard”. But the house needs some deep cleaning, especially the covered porch and outside areas. Looks like it was not deep cleaned for couple years…

This is a lovely vacation spot and a beautiful home. Unfortunately, we had an issue with one of the showers not working. After contacting Vacasa multiple times, they never responded to the issue during our four-day stay.

Nice, private retreat

Comfortable, lots of space and sleeping options. Dock is getting a bit rickety but overall a beautiful location and clean, spacious house. Fireplace was perfect on the first snow day of the year.

Awesome house for a chill weekend!

We loved this house because all 11 of us could hang in the kitchen or on the screened in porch without feeling too crowded. It was awesome to have access to the lake and we had a great time just lounging on the beach. Downtown Saugatuck was less than 10 minutes away and we also liked how close we were to the dune park.

Perfect retreat for old friends

This house has it all! The 6 beds, all doubles or bigger made sure we all had enough space to be comfortable, the air conditioning worked great and the Kitchen was very functional! The community space is great, there is chopped wood onsite which made the campfire a breeze, just bring your own firestarter, and the canoes and kayaks were all in working condition. There are no surprises or gotchas, you can book this place knowing you will get a big clean house on a stunning lake in Michigan.

Wonderful Lake getaway!!

I'd really give it more like 4.5 stars, because it was a near-perfect vacation. We had some wifi issues and couldn't figure out the sound system and a few other harmless quirks. Other than that the place is beautiful and clean and comfortable with a nice layout for congregating or having quiet time. We loved the proximity to the lake and pool and there's so much for kids to do... everything you need is right there including Kayaks and they had all the garage games for rainy days. My favorite spot was the spacious screened in porch. We would love to come back and stay again!

Great Hidden Gem

Great home with direct access to all Resort amenities including access to lake, dock, and beach within steps of the deck stairs. We enjoyed the use of the kayaks and the beach throughout our stay. Also only 2.1 miles to walk downtown Saugatuck with a nice path to get you there - or less than 5 minute drive. Plenty of room for 8 adults. Highly recommend.

Would come back

House had plenty of room to spread out. We loved the screened in porch and the private setting of the home. We were so close to the shared pool and beach area which made it very convenient.
