We liked everything related to the cabin, i.e. size, sleeping, layout, etc. Our only concern is the lake access and no beach if we had our entire family come.

Our stay was wonderful! The highlight of the home was the beautiful deck, fire table and the hot tub. The way down to the lake is quite steep, so hard terrain for little children and not a lot of room in the back for dogs to play! But, small issues for such an awesome view. We went out on the kayaks; the lake was so clear and clean. One of our favorite places, as we do a different location every year. Would recommend this home!

The house had a very strong odor of stale beer and smoke when we arrived, and it lingered during our 5-day stay despite air fresheners and candles. The boat available to rent from the owner (tied to dock) was covered in black mold and the upholstery had huge rips in all the seats. Unfortunately we could not rent another boat because there was no place to park at the dock (protruding kayak rack on other side). The view, kayaks, paddle boards, hot tub, fire pit and deck were all very nice. We’ve rented from the host several times before and had AWESOME experiences. This one fell short.

This was our third year staying at Long Lake, and we can’t wait to come back again! The house offers a great common space for the group to gather, and big rooms and outdoor spaces when we want to spread out. The outdoor couches and chairs are super comfortable. We enjoyed swimming in the lake (especially loved the floating dock!), time in the hot tub, relaxing with a show, and sitting down for a meal all together. Thanks for the hospitality!

Perfect cabin for girls trip

This is our second year staying at this cabin, and we hope to come back for a third! Love that there’s enough space for our group to gather, but enough separate room when we want to spread out. The beds and pillows are comfy, and the deck views can’t be bear. Thanks for a great stay!

Long Lake Review

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin! It was cozy and felt like a home away from home. The lake was a highlight for us; we couldn't get enough of swimming and relaxing in the hot tub. There were plenty of activities to keep us entertained, and the kids especially loved spending time by the lake. A perfect getaway for the whole family!

Awesome view when you wake up in the morning

This place is amazing. Especially the view from Master Bedroom at 6-7 AM when you wake up and the sun is rising over the lake. This is exactly what you need when you come from a busy and noisy city.

The best vacation spot for family bonding and relaxation!

We went here with both sides of the family after our wedding. The house is so beautiful and there are so much things to do!! The whole family enjoyed and felt more bonded after the vacation. The lake was really clean, we loved the hot tub, we were at the balcony over looking the lake 80% of the time, the bonfire place was amazing. We would definitely come back here!!!

Ladies Relax and Reset Weekend

We were 8 lovely ladies, stressed from work and family and life and Hickory Hills was the perfect place to rest and relax in each other’s company. The space is large enough for us to come together or to find a separate space to chill and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the lake. We loved the area and enjoyed shopping and had ice cream at Scoops. We love our time at Hickory Hills again and would absolutely rent again.
