Big Boulder Townhome- Updates, Summer is around the corner!

Welcome to the Blue Heron community at Big Boulder Lake! Our getaway is a three bedroom, two bathroom townhouse with many recent updates and upgrades as new owners in summer 2021. We have replaced all furniture, electronics and kitchen items.

In the summer months, enjoy a short 2 minute walk along Blue Heron's maintained walking paths to the community pool and beach areas, or rent a kayak or pontoon boat. Our rental includes 4 passes to the Boulder Lake Club, extra passes can be purchased daily.

Another few steps and you can enjoy the local staple, Boulder View Tavern, with indoor and lakeside seating and live music on the weekends. If indoor waterparks are up your alley, enjoy Kalahari-- within 25 minute drive!

Enjoy a cozy, updated home with a cabin feel but with recent upgrades to make you feel right at home. Perfect for families and couples that want to enjoy outdoor activities or just a quiet getaway in the Poconos. We comfortably sleep 6: a master bedroom with a king bed, a bunk bed with full mattresses upstairs, with an additional king bedroom downstairs. We have several new upgrades : new 4K television, new furniture, mattresses, bedding, dishwasher, silverware and kitchen equipment.

The rear patio offers wooded views and a gas grill, perfect for quiet coffee in the mornings, or easy meal prep in the evenings. Our kitchen is well equipped and has all you need for your stay-- a dual oven, a brand new dishwasher, Keurig coffee maker, baking tins/sheets, mixing bowls, toaster, microwave, blender and tupperware to store your leftovers.

We have 2 bathrooms-- the downstairs bath has a double sink with a tub/shower, while the upstairs bathroom has a single sink vanity and whirlpool tub to soak and relax after the outdoor adventures of the day! The home has hi speed 500mbps WiFi for all of your streaming devices, or your remote working needs. The living room features a new 4K 75" TV with cable plus Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Apple TV. The master bedroom also features cable and Netflix, while the downstairs queen features a smart TV with Netflix, Hulu, Disney+ and Amazon Prime Video.

Four mini-split units provide heating and air conditioning (rare at Big Boulder!) year-round. This provides more efficient and effective heating and cooling throughout the entire home and does not rely on electric baseboard heating- but baseboard heating is available in the winter months. The living area and each of the 3 bedrooms have their own thermostats so everyone can set their perfect temperature. During the winter months, complementary firewood is provided for use inside the wood burning fire place at the center of the living area. The downstairs also features full size laundry: washing machine and dryer.

You can do everything in the area-- snowboard, snow shoe, cross country ski, tube, hiking, bird watching, ATV'ing, golf, tennis, boating, fishing, etc.

Must be 30 years of age to rent. This is a smoke and pet free home. We supply all linens, extra blankets and pillows. Bathrooms are supplied with shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Towels should not be removed from house, so please bring beach towels if you plan on enjoying the pool, beach, or watersports.

All renters will be required to submit photo identification prior to lease agreement. A tenant packet will be provided prior to your arrival with all rules and regulations, along with your lease for your stay. Entry into the property is contactless via keyless entry locks.

In the winter months, a brief 3 minute drive to the other side of the lake to Big Boulder Mountain for snow skiing and tubing. Fifteen minutes to Jack Frost and 25 minutes to Camelback.
