Tiny Home Big Memories

Welcome to our home away from home! As long as we both can remember we have always had a dream to live on the water. This tiny cottage is a literal dream come true for us. We had the 990 square ft. tiny home moved from Minnesota by truck, it took two days to get to our property in Phelps, Wisconsin. We spent weeks getting the property ready for guest use and we hope that you enjoy all of our hard work. We want our guests to make memories of their own by providing a range of activities and things to keep you and your family/friends busy. Or just relax the entire time, its up to you. Thank you for choosing our property for your vacation. North Twin Lake is God's country come see for yourself! We are open for bookings of 30 days plus. Please email for rates and availability

Enjoyed our stay. Came in mid September after summer crowds were gone. We found some good restaurants nearby, had good communication with the host great place to bring pets. Quiet setting with easy access to Twin Lake. Plan on returning sometime. Thanks to Ryan our host.

It was Me, My brother and 10 yr old son. Had a great time at Ryan's Place in the Northwoods, one of the best places I've been, very beautiful, with the comforts ofnice wooding and a lake.

Relaxig Getaway

My wife and I stayed 5 days to celebrate our 4 year wedding anniversary. Peaceful, quiet, cozy and relaxing property. The tiny house had all the amenities needed for an extended stay. A lot of nice hiking trails within 30 min or so of the property. We drove up and around Lake Superior as well, which was only about 1hr 15min away. Beautiful waterfalls and trails around there too. We had wonderful staying here

End of summer vacay

We were looking for somewhere to enjoy nature and decompress for a week, and this cabin and property did not disappoint. Bald eagles on the tree line of the lake, and the lake itself…. FANTASTIC! All amenities provided were accommodating and outcasts was more than pleasurable, we were sad to leave.

A gem in the northwoods

This was a great property! The trailer was the perfect size for 2 adults and 2dogs. Was smallish, but new and exceptionally clean. There was a lot of thought and love put into the design to make things flow and feel spacious and modern. The land was a dream itself. From the huge gated upper deck, to the gated dog area, the fire pit, down to the pier. Top notch. All perfectly landscaped,plenty of space, but nothing too far away either. Lots and lots of things to do, or not do. We would highly recommend this vacation spot to anyone! We would go back in a heartbeat.

Phelps Tiny Home Property

Condition of the entrance from highway and driveway to the home was not good. Ruts in the gravel road caused concern navigating on a very narrow stretch. The kitchen wasn’t very clean.We had to clean the countertops,stovetop,sink and vacuum the kitchen floor. They need better clean up by the cleaning service. Not quite as advertised as photos shown.

Our new favorite vacation spot

We cannot say enough good things about this place! My husband and I were so sad we had to leave. We are "city folk" and a cabin in the woods is not our typical vacation. However, we desperately needed a place to de-stress and this was the perfect place. Even though there were neighbors on both sides, there are plenty of trees so it felt like we were secluded on our own island. Very quiet and peaceful. From waking up to the beautiful view, sitting around the firepit roasting marshmallows, grilling out on the deck, and for the first time in our 50+ years, peddle boating and kayaking, this was a vacation we will never forget! It is a small house but there was plenty of room for the two of us. We were incredibly impressed with all of the thought that went into making sure guests felt comfortable and everything you could possibly need was provided. Beautiful property and surroundings. We are now dreaming of owning one for ourselves someday. We hope this listing is still available next summer because we will most definitely be returning!

Great Northwoods Lakefront

We are a retired couple from Houston, and thoroughly enjoyed our stay of over a month in the "Tiny House" on North Twin Lake in Phelps Wisconsin, and are rating it with five stars across the board.....for two people. Location is great with nice views of the 3,000 acre lake, and a very nice and quiet setting......can't see neighboring houses. Dock is easy to access and more than adequate for boating, fishing, plus. Lake was quiet, even over the Labor Day weekend. Phelps is a nice small Northwoods town with a convenience store; ice cream shop/hot dog stand; a couple of bar/restaurants; a barber shop; and a small marine, ATV repair facility.. An easy12 - 13 miles from Eagle River, that has almost everything you would need for an extended stay. While the house was very comfortable for a couple, and probably a family of four or five with small kids, it is a little tight. The master has a nice, comfortable, king size bed; a stacked washer and dryer; a small half closet (3' X 3 1/2') above a set of three 13 inch drawers; a cold air return; and two very small nightstands. About 2 1/2 feet of space on each of the three sides of the bed. Nice size, mounted TV in master. Kitchen is very well stocked with all that's needed for any kind of meal, and is a very tight galley style. Living area is adequate for a couple of adults and a couple of kids, but would be cramped with more. Attached, screened porch is about 12' X 12' and could comfortably accommodate 4 or 5 adults. Large TVs in both the living room and screened porch. Outdoor covered dining table and deck are spacious and useable during the summer months. The loft has a king size bed on one side of the very steep stairs and a queen size on the other. Both have TVs and decent areas around the beds. However, the ceiling height, as shown in the listing pictures, is only about 3 1/2 feet, so while small kids probably would love it, anyone over the age of 8 or 9 would have to crawl on their hands and knees to use the loft. We used the loft only to store suitcases, and non essentials. House might be a challenge for tall people as the doorways to the master and to the bathroom are only 6' 2" high. Ceilings in kitchen, master and bathroom are 6' 6" high. We'll close with the same as we started...5 stars for a couple and probably a family with small kids. We would rent it again.
