With the best of everything; recreation to relaxation, Enjoy the beautiful lake views of Lac Vieux Desert, from our brand new open concept, ground level condo, situated in a green park-like setting at McPartlin's Resort, with spacious and fully stocked accommodations. Spread out in the ample sized 2BR + bonus room and full bath, with beautifully appointed furnishings and decor that wraps you in a hug. In-floor heat makes for warm toes in the winter. The full rec, 4300 acre lake, boasts great year round fishing on the Wisconsin / Michigan border. In winter, park your snow machines and run tip-ups out the patio door, with direct access to the lake or hit the snowmobile trails from Vilas County into MI. Tie your boat to our dock slip and fish this top destination lake for musky, northern pike, walleye, bass & panfish (reputation as a "panfish factory"), With a gradual slope and a hard sand bottom, water is about waist deep at the end of the dock. Clean, freeze or cook your catch in our heated fish house, exclusive to our winter guests. An on-site summer fish house is open for all resort guests. We also supply a pair of kayaks and gas grill for our guest use. Wildlife abounds with deer, majestic eagles, fox, squirrels & turkey to name a few. Inside the comforts of home, enjoy a board game, cards, Roku-streaming TV, and internet, a large fully equipped kitchen for cooking and baking, with ample cupboard space for your pantry items. Phelps is a Great Outdoors destination, with trails for ATV/UTV's, hiking, biking, and a preferred destination for snowmobiling. Family activities shared with neighboring Eagle River, also include Fishing, Paddle boarding, Canoe & Kayaking, Snow-shoeing, Cross country skiing, Golf, Tubing, Horseback Riding, Home-town shops, Movie Theatre, Bowling, and great eateries.. The hosts are great! My wife and daughters came up for a weekend stay and the place is awesome! Perfect upnorth feel and cozy accommodations. The hosts are very attentive and did a great job! Highly recommend staying here! Hillside Resort is right down the road amazing fish fry and prime rib!

Just as we had hoped

The condo was just as described. We enjoyed the decor and the view of the lake. Our family biked, hiked, swam. kayaked and saw lots of wildlife. They had nothing but great things to say about Tim and Lisa's place and we would all love to come back !

Labor Day 2023

I have been going to Little St Germain my entire life. My parents rented and owned properties in south and east bays and I also owned a property in east bay as well. It has been a few years since i was able to visit and my fiancé and daughter and her friend have never been so we were all very excited for the long weekend The condo was exactly as the pictures displayed and was perfect for our stay. The condo has easy first floor access with incredible views of the lake. It is tastefully decorated and well maintained. We look forward to staying here again

Comfy stay in the northwoods!

Having stayed in several different places up north over the past few years, this one is my favorite to date! I loved that it was right on a beautiful lake- a must for me when I am up north. It had all the amenities you would expect and more! It made for a very comfortable, pleasant stay.

Quiet solitude

The serenity of the lake and quiet surroundings gave us the perfect setting to visit for hours with our special guests. The inside of the condo was very welcoming and all the updates made our stay relaxing and enjoyable.

Beautiful Comfortable Quiet Condo on Little St. Germain

Very nice condo with 2 bedrooms and 2 baths. Very Clean and nicely decorated. We mostly did biking during the day when it wasn't raining and on the rainy days played games and enjoyed the beautiful view.

Magical vacation up north

Lisa & Tim's condo is beautiful - well decorated, in a great location right off the bike path outside of St. Germaine, next to a scenic and serene lake. The kitchen has all the modern amenities. Lisa was a wonderful, attentive hostess - answering and anticipating all of my questions. I will definitely stay here again if I visit St. Germaine (which I strongly recommend! One of the most charming towns in northern Wisconsin).

A week away for Mom

I stayed for the week while my son attended a nearby sleep away camp. This condo was perfect for a week of remote work with morning paddle boarding and evening cocktails on the deck. We will be back again for sure!

Perfect!!!!

The Property was absolutely perfect. It was exactly what I expected or perhaps a little more. I was in town for Mardi Gras 2023 and we found the property to be very spacious, clean and in a great area. I was concerned about the drive into NO and to the french quarter but the drive wasn't bad at all (30 minutes). The place was very close to shopping, a Mall, restaurants and everything we needed, without being in the hustle and bustle of Mardi Gras. Mornings with beautiful sunrises, and nights were peaceful and relaxing. Our hostess was always prompt to answer any questions we had and gave a lot of suggestions on things to do. She was extremely accommodating and the place had everything we needed to feel at home. As I said earlier, the place suited our needs perfectly and I would definitely come back if I'm in the NO area. Glad we chose this over the hotels and places down near the french quarter because it gave us a chance to decompress and relax between the daily excursions. Had a great time. Thank you Michelle

Wonderful!

From the moment I booked the dates the owner was responsive and quick to answer any questions I had. I added an extra night with a quick response even over the busy holiday. The property was clean and there were homey touches in every room. It was comfortable and I would love to stay here again.

We enjoyed the ambiance of the condo, the location on Little Lake Germain, and the overall peace of this spot in the north woods. The hosts were always responsive to our questions, the furnishings and decor make a beautiful palette, and the knives in the knife block are sharp. What a treasure.

Great stay

Enjoyed our stay. Very nice area to walk & see lots of deer. Rental very comfortable. Easy to visit other cities in the area. Lisa came out, from 2 hours away, to try to get the Roku to work in the living room. We very much appreciated it. Felt bad she had to make the 2 hour trip.

Very comfortable scenic stay

Very comfortable and well stocked condo. Scenic view of the lake. Lots of wildlife. We enjoyed a comfortable and fun week on the lake. Host was quick to respond to any questions. Was a quiet stay despite lots of condos and shared property. Would just comment that the lake itself was very busy with both recreational boaters and fishing!

Tim and I have three children, son-in-law and two daughters-in-law, whom we are also blessed with nine beautiful grandchildren, raised in Christian grace. We are originally from the Fox River valley area of WI, and after 41 years of marriage, we moved to our north-woods cabin in Crivitz, and newly retired in 2021. We so enjoy family time with our kids and grandkids! In between outside projects, Tim also enjoys fishing and hunting; a long time tradition in our family, and I relish helping in the community, bible study with our church family, as well as cooking, thrifting and decorating.

Tim has fond memories of family vacations with his cousins on Lac Vieux Desert and fast forward to just a few years ago, began coming back up to ice fish with his cousin again and making maple syrup in the Spring, as the maple trees are abundant here, an added bonus! After hosting a condo in St. Germain, for the past four years, we made the switch to this condo in Phelps, to be on Lac Vieux Desert, and just a few cottages down from his cousin, yet a prime location for year round fishing, and for our guests to also enjoy, as premier family fun for all seasons. We look forward to hosting our Lac Vieux Desert condo for our guests, those who are returning to this slice of heaven as well as new arrivals; a great opportunity for vacationers to enjoy a fun road trip to this beautiful vacation or short term stay destination.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Having the lake right outside the door and the picturesque view from inside and out. A dock slip for your boat, sand bottom, an easy level park-like grade of the common area, to the lake, with night-time shore light for navigating back to the condo from the lake, easy walking paths for owners and guests, grilling, fire pit, boat ramp just down the road, and in winter, an ice ramp, straight out from our condo, and nature's wildlife adds to the enjoyment :)
