Waterfront Retreat - Romantic Get-away - Executive Travel (Lake Erie)

Not for everyone! This property is for the discriminating traveler with a strong preference for quality and quiet.

Executive travel by weekday, romantic get-away by weekend. This property is a guest house attached to our home with separate entrance and parking. Guests will enjoy full kitchen, large family room with fire place, master suite with king bed and full bath, laundry room, treadmill, 4-season enclosed sun porch overlooking Lake Erie with access to backyard.

Nothing goes better with coffee than a stunning sunrise. The sunrise over Lake Erie is simply breathtaking. Coffee maker with assorted coffee and tea are complimentary. Kitchen is stocked with dishes, glasses, pots, silverware and other essentials if you decide to make your own meals.

Looking to dine out? Chateau Louis never disappoints - just up the street you'll find this great restaurant ( https://www.chateaulouiselunapier.com ). People come from all around to enjoy their perch dinner. Dine in or carry out.

Prefer casual or carry out? Try Ganders Family Restaurant. Dine in or carry out. (734) 848-8913.

Enjoy cool breeze sunsets out back. Need to get your steps in? Use the in-home treadmill to stay active or enjoy walking around town or along the sea wall. Public beach and pier are a short walk. away.

Bedroom and bath have clean linens for your stay. King size memory foam mattress ensures that you get a comfortable sleeping experience.

In the winter months you can cozy up to the gas fireplace. Large flat screen with Spectrum cable.

House has wireless internet.

Entry to suite is keyless. No access to garage. Parking (1-car) is out front with walkway to entrance. Other parking needs may be granted upon request - just let us know what you need and we'll do our best to accommodate.

Convenient to Toledo, Monroe, Ann Arbor and Detroit. Located 5 minutes from I-75, we are 10 minutes to Toledo, 10 minutes to Monroe.

On request (and based on availability) guests might enjoy a movie in our theater room or a "happy hour drink" in our 3rd floor bar. It is our pleasure to make your stay memorable and enjoyable.

Communication was very good.. They also made accommodations to park my fishing boat. Weather wasn't great for fishing, but the house was beautiful, clean, and comfortable. So we had an enjoyable trip. Thank you!

This very clean, comfortable, modern suite with lots of amenities is part of a house with a spectacular view of Lake Erie. No other houses obstruct that view. Windows in the living room and sunroom are perfect for watching sunrises. Visitors can only walk on the portion of the seawall across this one property; the remainder of the seawall along the shore in that area is private. Longer walks on seawall must be at the public beach/park area in Luna Pier, that requires paid parking. The designated paved parking space at this property is nice, kitchen is great. There are three steps from parking space to area near the garage doors, two more steps there into the suite, one step within the suite, and one step to/from the sunroom. Nice place!

A gem on Lake Erie

Most VRBO pictures look much better than the actual setting but we were shocked to find that the photos were unable to capture the quality of this beauty. Check-in was a breeze with code entry. Kitchen stocked for a chef. The photos of snacks & coffees are real! Even creamers were available. There were many nice towels for your bathroom shower. A sweet sun room with sliders so you can enjoy a breeze on sunrise & moonrise. The beach is walkable & not crowded. Total relaxation.

Wonderful and attentive hosts. Clean and comfortable accommodations. The three season room is especially nice. And the lake view is especially nice. One of the nicest rentals we have stayed at. Definitely plan on staying here again.

FUN relaxing weekend!

We had an absolutely Fabulous stay! So much more than we expected! The property is beautiful and so comfortable and cozy inside! We did not to leave! And I must mention the bed. We agreed it was the most comfortable bed either of us have ever slept on! And the beach was beautiful!!! 5 stars!!!!!

Perfect weekend getaway

We had the most comfortable and relaxing weekend away we’ve had in years. This was the perfect place to rest and recharge. The accommodations were superb and the setting is serene. This property is extremely relaxing and beautiful. Located at the end of the street, it is very quiet. The view of Lake Erie is unobstructed and serene. There are several comfortable places to sit and contemplate the scene, read, and enjoy a break from life. The bed is extremely comfortable, and the kitchen is well-stocked for cooking.

2nd Visit

This was our second time visiting this property. And our wish is to keep returning. We have very busy lives and this is perfect for peace and relaxation. Dave and Erica are very kind and welcoming. A 20 minute drive took us to Toledo for a great Anniversary dinner. We would definitely recommend a visit to experience this beautiful lakeside property.

Amazing house and company

We stayed there for our 5 year anniversary. The house was the nicest in the town, and the suite/ attached apartment was really beautifully done. I would suggest the house for anyone looking for something in the area. The view was beautiful, and the hospitality was over and above. Thank you both for a memorable weekend.

Luxurious property, gorgeous location, warm and wonderful stay

We have rented many properties on VRBO, but this stay shot to the top of our list because of the many personal touches added to our wonderful stay. My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived, we found a lovely handwritten note with an anniversary cake. So thoughtful! The kitchen is also incredibly well stocked. There is a full size spice rack for those who love to cook, a huge assortment of Keurig options, and snacks and beverages. It was as if you were a longtime family member or close friend who had come to visit. I don't think the pictures do the interior justice. The furnishings are beautifully stylish, but also SUPREMELY clean and comfortable! The bed managed to be both firm and soft. The view is unbelievable! We sank into the chairs on the sun porch and watched the sun rise, the moonrise, and the lazy flights of the bald eagles and other birds. I could literally feel my blood pressure dropping by the minute. The beach was about a mile away, but we found it to be a very quick drive (we could have walked) and were able to park right next to the beach in the paid parking lot. We had sun and fun and then were able to pop back to the house for showers and relaxation. I loved every minute of our stay. I admire the ability of our hosts to create such a welcoming, comfortable, beautiful space and am so grateful for their warmth and hospitality.

Peaceful place on the lake

If you like a really a quiet place and very comfortable, this guest house is for you. The house is very well equipped and very clean. You don’t need to take anything because there is everything you need for your stay. It is located right on the lake, a short walk from the public beach. All day long you can hear the lake and the birds singing. Erika and David are very friendly people. There is a short distance to the trails in the Toledo area and a lots of them. I would recommend this place to everyone. It really feels like home.

A taste of heaven.

David and Erika were excellent hosts in every way. Erika greeted us when we arrived and Dave was concerned and offered his assistance in multiple ways, far exceeding expectations. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment of our stay. The house was filled with snacks, the fridge stocked and all other essentials were more than ample. This rental and property was the best by far in comparison to all other rentals we’ve encountered over the years.

Quiet and cozy

We really enjoyed waking up to sunrises on Lake Erie off the bedroom. We enjoyed drinking coffee/tea from Keurig. There wasn't much to do in town so we enjoyed driving down the road to get apple cider. We appreciated the snack basket. We had everything we needed for a couples' getaway!
