Welcome to a uniquely remodeled 1300 square foot guest house above the detached garage. Enjoy your mountain vacation in this modern, fully furnished, quiet getaway. This is a private, end of the road retreat with everything needed to have a comfortable stay near Durango. Located ON the Florida River approximately 7 miles Northeast of downtown and a short drive to Lemon, Nighthorse, and Vallecito Reservoirs.
Your own private spacious deck has dinner table four four with a couple extra spring chairs and tables to take in the quiet mornings and enjoy an evening dinner outside. Grill anytime of the year. The deck has an amazing view of the river and the surrounding mountains.

The open living room has a WIFI smart TV, electric fireplace, two sitting chairs, coffee table, and sliding glass doors that open to your deck overlooking the river. There is a sleeper sofa can be used for extra guests and has a very comfortable self-inflating mattress. The open U-shaped kitchen has beautiful granite counters, stainless steel oven/ gas stove top, dishwasher, microwave, and coffee makers. It comes fully stocked for those that like to cook and seating at the large island.

The large master bedroom hosts a comfy queen bed made with quality linens, a down and or synthetic comforter, extra blankets for cold nights, a large closet and armoire. We have placed a smart TV in the armoire for watching TV under the covers. Adjacent to the bedroom is an office space with a tall mirror, extra dresser, desk, and sitting area.

There is one stocked bathroom with tub, shower, sink, and toilet. All you need to get ready for a night out downtown. A separate laundry room contains new, high quality, large capacity washer and dryer, as well as lots of room to hang clothes. Up the ladder is a comfortable loft for reading a book, taking a nap, or watching the sun drop behind the pines.
We have space for two vehicles in the large pull through driveway.
Due to the proximity to water we do not allow pets, or children under the age of 10.
Owners are on the same lot but not in the same dwelling.
