Cozy Panama City Beach Condo: Short Walk to Beach!
Horizon South is your beach destination, it’s the most popular resort in Panama City Beach. A short 2-3 minute walk takes you to our beach access and the emerald waters of the Gulf of Mexico. Sunsets are particularly beautiful at this beach resort and the large patio is a favorite spot to relax as the day winds down. Our gated community is located 2.5 miles from Pier Park which features shopping, dining and entertainment. We are conveniently located near Frank Brown Park, Aaron Bessant Park. Area attractions Wonderworks, St. Andrews State Park, Gulf World Marine Park are all within easy driving range. Championship golf courses are just moments away.
This 22 acre family friendly resort has many recreational amenities such as 4 outdoor pools shuffle board court, horseshoe pit, laundry facilities, a lighted tennis court, hot tub, and mini golf for everyone to enjoy. Our clubhouse has pool tables, a fitness room, and offers complimentary WiFi for guests.
Armbands:
All guests, friends, and renters are required to purchase armbands at the office, from any maintenance person, or at the Tiki Hut by the middle pool at the time of their check-in or between the hours of 9:00am and 6:00pm daily.
Vehicles and Parking:
Speed is limited to 10 miles per hour throughout Horizon South. Pedestrians have the right of way at all times and places on resort property.
* Parking pass Policy
Parking passes must be properly displayed from the vehicle’s rear-view mirror. Parking passes are $25.00. Minimum of 2.
Wristband policy
Everyone ages 6 & up MUST wear a wristband. Wristbands are required to be on property, not just for use of the amenities. Wristbands are $20.00 per person.
Wristbands and Parking passes can be purchased at the front office or in advanced online. Below is the link.

No vehicle is allowed to park on any grassy area of Horizon South. Any vehicle parked on any grassy area will be towed at the guest or renters expense. Horizon South assumes no responsibility for damage incurred as a result of towing in.
Bicycles, skates, skateboards, roller blades, pedaled scooters, and other such vehicles are not allowed on sidewalks, grassy areas, mini golf areas, tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, basketball courts, or pool decks. Any guest, or renter not obeying these rules will be subject to fines.
Rental scooters and golf carts are not to be parked on grassy areas, sidewalks, patios, or inside any unit. Golf carts cannot be operated by any person under the age of 16. Following one warning, the unit in violation of any rules will be fined $25.00 per occurrence. Golf carts do have specific designated parking at some buildings.
Trash and Dumpsters:
All household trash is to be secured in appropriate plastic bags and deposited into the compactor located across from the mailbox area. Horizon South does not have curb service for garbage collection; therefore, all owners, guests, and renters must take their trash to the compactor.
Trash cans are placed around Horizon South for the convenience of owners and guests for daily recreational trash but may not be used for the dumping of household trash. Dumping of furniture, construction debris, or any other such items not considered household trash is strictly prohibited. Exceptions may be made with approval from management and such exceptions may incur a dump fee.
Any guests, or renters dumping prohibited materials without prior authorization will be fined $25.00 per occurrence.
Pools:
There is no lifeguard on duty at any time. Swim at your own risk.
Swimming pool rules are posted at each pool area according to Florida law. Pools are open daily from 9:00am to 11:00pm, unless otherwise posted. No smoking is allowed in the pools. No glass bottles, cups, or containers of any kind are allowed within the fenced areas of the pools. Anyone under the age of 12 must be accompanied by a responsible adult or will be asked to leave the pool area. All non-potty-trained children will wear swim diapers at all times while in any of the pools on site.
Barbecue Grills:
In accordance with Florida law, no gas or charcoal grill may be used on any patio which has a covering or overhang, or on any grassy area within Horizon South.
Electric grills are permissible on any patio, so long as safe use is practiced, and grills are not left unattended.
Any gas or charcoal grill found on covered patios or grassy areas will be disposed of and the unit in violation will be fined $25.00.
Guests may use any of the permanent charcoal grills located in Horizon South on a first-come, first-served basis.
