Treetops is a light-filled, spacious studio apartment set in the treetops of magnolia trees, colorful and garden themed! Located in the lovely, tree-lined and safe Chevy Chase, it is within walking distance of the UK campus, football stadium, medical center, Arboretum, and the vibrant Chevy Chase business area. Nearby is downtown Lexington, with its many restaurants and bars. The apartment has a kitchenette with no stove, but with a sink, microwave, toaster oven , and mini-fridge. If one or two guests are children, five guests are allowed. For larger parties, rent the whole building and double your space! An outside stairway connects the two similar spaces; the bottom of which is named simply "Solar Sanctuary." The second cleaning fee is reduced to only $20! We’ve stayed at this property twice and had a great experience both times. The property is exactly as described—clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. My teens especially love the wave machine and the snacks..lol Check-in was a breeze, and the location is perfect—close to everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again!

This was the third or fourth time I’ve stayed here. It’s located in a convenient area of Lexington and easy to get to. The property is always clean and feels safe. I can’t recommend it enough.

Treetops is a bit funky and fun. Here's a large TV screen and plenty of comy sitting space. Dru met us and got us situated. Worked well for our weekend stay in Lexington.

Unique and fun place to stay!

Very easy to find and check in. I was by myself so I usually stay in hotels but felt very safe here. All details were taken care of and it was a fabulous place to stay!

We loved feeling like we were surrounded by trees in the midst of the burbs. The stay was cozy and fun, the decor was whimsical and made me feel more at home than the usual sterile beige everything that comes with rental stats.

Perfect Spot

It makes no sense to stay in a hotel when this unit is available. Perfect for a single or couple. Close to Chevy Chase and downtown. Very clean and has all you need for a comfortable stay. Dru is a first class host. Very attentive.

very sweet stay

This space was very cozy and clean. Lots of thoughtful touches such as soft music playing on the big projection screen when we entered the room and a Keurig with several coffee options. The owner was a very good communicator. We had no trouble checking in. Very nice neighborhood. We would stay here again!

Sleepless in Lexington

Host had good communication but listing was inaccurate. Listing states it sleeps 5. Barely room for 4; single, full & a futon that didn’t lay flat. No way 2 sleep could sleep on the futon. Beds were uncomfortable like sleeping on cardboard and the futon did not go down all the way so one guest had to sleep with feet in the air. The pillows were extremely old and felt like they were filled with bubble wrap or plastic bags. There were crumbs in the futon and floor. The bathroom wasn’t very clean and towels had an odor. One guest left at 5am to go sleep elsewhere because it was so uncomfortable. Host made us uncomfortable by staring while we walked past their personal home. At least wave or say hello. None of us slept the entire stay due to how uncomfortable the mattresses and bedding was. To add, on our last morning at 6am we were awoken by a woman below the unit yelling and arguing which was alarming due to her use of profanities. Lastly, owners dog barked throughout our stay. This has been our worst VRBO experience ever. We avoided going back to the property only in an attempt to sleep and shower. It was a weekend from hell.

Love this gem!

We came to Lexington for my daughter’s cheer competition. The location was perfect if you need to get downtown. It’s also not far from the airport. We loved how cozy it was and the host was super sweet! If you’re looking for an alternative to a hotel then this place is perfect and is super affordable! My kids loved the huge projector screen and all the board games she kept in the closet. If we ever make our way back to Lexington, We would definitely stay there again!

Cozy Retreat with Exceptional Service

This was our second stay at this cozy VRBO. Treetops has a charming atmosphere in a lovely neighborhood. The property manager is very friendly and communication is excellent! Highly recommend!

My husband and I grew up just blocks from our house, which is in front of the BnB. We obviously love the coveted neighborhood, with its safe, tree-lined lanes, central location and close proximity to restaurants, nightlife and the University of Kentucky.

Treetops is a colorful, garden and tree-themed studio apartment, surprisingly spacious and comfortable. The projector TV with its huge projector screen enures unforgetable movie nights! A small deck up amongst the treetops enables stargazing with a drink in the evening or birdwatching with a cup of coffee in the morning!
