Unit A210 is located on the south side of the complex, providing ample shade to the Lanai and allowing for a cool and calm breeze to come in off the ocean. Lanai space offers guests or owners seasonal sunset viewing & beautiful ocean views.
The property boasts Central Air Conditioning, Granite Countertops, High end Appliances, Top of the line cabinetry, a Fully Remodeled Bathroom with His and Her's sinks, and a LARGE WALK IN SHOWER!

Casa De Emdeko also has one of the few oceanfront pools where you can swim and soak up the warm Hawaiian sun while watching the whales or dolphins play, depending on the season you visit. Swaying Palm Trees on our private sandy sunning area at the oceans edge offers glorious sunsets with a special sense of serenity. The popular Cabana, BBQ's, and Lanai tables are perfect for dining gatherings with friends and making new friends from around the world.

*Casa will be replacing the chiller the week of 9/23/24 - 9/27/24.
Unfortunately, there will be no air conditioning at the residential or commercial buildings for five days because the chiller system will be turned off for repairs.*

Overall great place to stay. Really good location. Great roads nearby for walking/jogging. Not close parking on site, so be prepared to hike your bags a bit, other than that it was a great place to stay and very comfortable. Had everything we needed.

Perfection

This property is perfect! Although no direct beach access it has an amazing pool and sandy "beach" right on the ocean. There is a lovely lanai area with BBQs and tables near the saltwater pool. The condo itself was clean and well appointed in the kitchen as well as snorkeling and beach gear. We would stay here again in a heartbeat. The location is ideal as well

2nd Stay & Here to Stay!We just got done staying here again for 8/9 days, and we are always sad to leave. My husband and I joke around that we could buy this unit (it feels like home!) someday — perhaps! We feel very comfortable in this condo. Temperature wise, we were always feeling nice and cool from the hot sun. Everything is updated & simple, the cute décor feels super tropical & relaxing, and the unit is safe & quiet. We love the pools, grills, and other amenities. The fancy shower in this condo is our favorite! Staying here with a toddler is very easy and enjoyable as well. I love that the kitchen is fully stocked with helpful dishes and appliances. We love the closeness to town, and the peek-a-boo view of the ocean from the lanai. Knuston & Associates (property managers) are also very nice about accommodating requests/complaints. Very, very nice place to stay!The only thing I'd like to see in general is assigned parking for Casa De Emdeko guests and residents, but maybe that will happen someday!

Exceeding my expectations! Beautifully remodeled and the shower is amazing! It really is like a spa massage all in a shower! Private beach and saltwater pool on the ocean is mesmerizing with the ocean waves crashing in. Sunsets are great from here as well! Well equipped to make your stay very comfortable. Comfy bed. Gated community and very quiet. Our last night we had rainbow on one side of us and sunset on the other. We found a quiet little spot around the corner from the pool that was perfect. Celebrated the end of our 4@ year anniversary trip here.

Honeymoon Vacation

The property was fabulous! We tended to stay out and do all we could on the Big Island, but when we came back we had a relaxing property waiting for us. The other residents were very nice as well. We did utilize both pools and the grills as well, which were all positive experiences!

Water Issues

The only reason we are down grading the property is due to the water issues. Intermittent water shut offs and no hot water for 3 days. We loved the property and hoped the water issues would resolve but unfortunately the entire complex was having issues and by the 3rd day we were desperately needing a hot shower. However the property was very nice, large kitchen with everything you would need, wonderful lanai, beautiful sunsets, nice bed and quiet. When we shared our frustration with the property manager they were more than understanding. We would definitely rent from Knutson Properties again just maybe not this complex.

The pool was amazing as it was right on the ocean and was perfect for an evening swim. Parking was easy too. There is also a small store right outside the entrance that was perfect for anything you may need for a snack or beverages.
