Gîte located in a historic building, a restored former cheese factory in the heart of the village at an altitude of 766 meters. Unpretentious rural gîte for group or family holidays in a countryside village. Close to a grocery store and a restaurant/caterer. On the ground floor, an entrance hall leads to a large living room with a dining and relaxation area, a well-equipped kitchen, two enclosed communal bathroom blocks with 5 showers, 10 sinks, and 4 toilets, and 3 bedrooms: one with 3 single beds and two with 2 single beds each. Upstairs: 4 bedrooms, each with 2 single beds. Linens are provided, but beds need to be made. There is no direct outdoor space, but the town provides a multi-sports court 50 meters away for children. The Wi-Fi is unreliable. Central heating is provided by the town's wood-fired boiler. Étang les Lésines (3 km away) offers opportunities for picnics and fishing (pike, farmed trout, roach). Visit the Planachat site, a viewpoint overlooking the Alps and the Southern Jura Mountains. Explore the Marais de Vaux discovery trail. Numerous hiking trails start at the foot of the gîte, as well as marked mountain biking trails. Hauteville is 2.5 km away. A bike park for downhill and enduro mountain biking is located in Cormaranche. Comfortable cottage with lots of space inside. Outside, lots of possible walks. Rental: 2 nights minimum
