Magical scene is what you experience once you step into this quaint 4 bedroom cottage directly ON the Cape Cod Bay!The popular Kingsbury Beach location holds this ''pearl'' of the oyster! This property was completely renovated as of July 2021. Every room, wall, ceiling, floor, etc - was redone (including bathrooms). See pics. Warm knotty pine walls brings you back in time with a large family room fronted by a generous porch where large family lobster dinners took place as the sun set on the bay drinking in the views with the lapping bay water dotted with boats grazing the horizon...real magic takes place just after the sun sets below the horizon...you think you'd gone to heaven! A warm sense of peace settles over you like a soft cloud making this home one where many memories can make a lifetime memorable.

Amazing stay. This house is a gem - steps from the sand. You can see the beach from the dining room table. Sunsets are amazing. Super quiet road. House was very clean and comfortable for our family. We will be back!

We just returned from a week at this property in Eastham and had a great stay. The house is more spacious than the pictures show, with large bedrooms and well-appointed bathrooms. The kitchen is well stocked with pots, pans, silverware and even a variety of seasonings and olive oil that were likely left behind by other renters. What really seals the deal is the location. The house is in the dunes facing west giving some of the best sunsets we have seen since we started coming to the cape as a family 10 years ago. Communication with the owner was excellent. We had a couple of questions during our stay and got very quick responses. Finally, the house comes stocked with both beach and bath towels, a rarity in the Cape rental market. We will be back next summer.

Weekend get away

Location is wonderful, just as described. Rooms and beds were comfortable. Place not as clean as you’d expect, lots of dust, dirt on front of cabinets, freezer clearly not wiped out, etc. Also noticed ants everywhere, worse in the kitchen but were definitely present throughout the house. Kitchen was well supplied but was extremely surprised a hair dryer isn’t provided for guests, seems like a very basic amenity to include at a low cost to owner. Communication response with owner was extremely delayed if responded at all. Overall I’d recommend this property for the location and it is nicely updated but hopefully owner will work on making sure whoever cleans it does a better job and hopefully you don’t need anything that requires quick response from owner.

Eastham beach house

The house was lovely and in beautiful condition. The beach was literally steps away from the back door and was perfect for walking and swimming. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

'Slice of Heaven' is right!

The house couldn't be much more aptly named - it is a slice of heaven. A lovely space in a perfect location in a sweetheart of a town. Can't wait to go back!

Slice of Heaven

Slice of Heaven is the name on the property, as we drove up. It is, in fact, a slice of Heaven! Property was very clean, and had everything you needed to enjoy your vacation.It was very modern, updated, open floor plan.Bedrooms were roomy, with space for your suitcases. Outdoor shower was a plus, in the heat. We had guests from Europe, and the washer and dryer was great to have, to do laundry. Kitchen had pretty much any size pots and pans, as well as all pyrex storage containers, and cooking utensils. I have stayed at numerous homes on the Cape, and this is by far, the most beautiful views, and sunsets.Dori, the owner, was very accommodating, and answered all of my questions. I wish this rating had 10 stars! Will definitely be returning!

Great location on the beach

Access to the beach was fantastic, unlike many other houses in the area the beach was just a few feet away with no long/steep steps to climb. As the public beach signs will warn, watch out for poison ivy on any of the beach paths you take.The kitchen was well stocked including a portable ice maker and the full bath upstairs and full bath downstairs was sufficient for our family of 4. Location on Cape Cod was also ideal, we easily did site seeing activities a number of days (from Provincetown to Barnstable) in the morning (highly recommended the cove at Herring Cove Beach) and returned to the house for beach time in the afternoon. Dori was a great host responding immediately to all our inquiries.

Gorgeous location!

Beautiful location right on the beach. Owner was wonderful - we had a slight problem with the heat and she had an electrician over within minutes. Highly recommend!

"A Slice of Heaven" lives up to its name

Positives: The house was lovely and had everything we needed. The location is as good as it gets on Cape Cod Bay......with wonderful access to the beach and sweeping views of amazingly beautiful sunsets. Negatives: It would have been helpful if there was information available at the house on how to operate the heating/AC units. We googled the units and downloaded an operating manual which helped, but still some of them didn't seem to work. There was also no information at the house on what we were supposed to do with the trash and recycle bins and when to do it so they could be picked up by the trash company. When we arrived, the bins were overflowing and coyotes were circling the house. We decided to place the bins by the road on Sunday night and they thankfully were picked up on Monday morning. Also we were very surprised to see that all of the cabinets over the stove were filled with food which included opened food boxes which could easily attract insects....and which also left no room for us to store food that we brought.

Beautiful home in Eastham!

We had such a wonderful stay, and Dori was so accommodating and helpful! The home was in a peaceful neighborhood, and you cannot beat the location right on the water with beach access. Our kids loved it—we enjoyed breakfast at the kitchen counter, plenty of play space in the living room, playing in the sand and water right outside, and comfy beds when it was time to rest. My husband and I loved the little patio closer to the water, too, and it was perfect for watching sunsets. We were able to access wonderful restaurants with just a couple minutes drive. We would love to come back sometime!

Family fun on the Cape

We hadn't been to Eastham for about 30 years and not a lot had changed on the surface. Having been used to staying in a very rustic cabin in the past, we were pleasantly surprised by this spot. The inside was completely renovated with modern everything, nice kitchen, large bathrooms, and huge living space for a group of 8. Best part of the place is the location. Right on the bay with a short walk and you're on the beach. It was very quiet with very friendly neighbors to talk to if you want. Definitely would stay here again.

Prefect House/Great location

This is really a "slice of heaven" ! Definitely will be back. It was so comfortable, best stocked VRBO i have ever stayed in. Clean and comfy. My 2 girls and I didn't want to leave. This is not a big deal, but I think we noticed it cause of 3 girls....There is only 1 mirror in the whole house. Upstairs bathroom. Wasn't a big deal though. The view and to be able to walk out onto the beach is amazing. Prefect location on the cape to drive to Hyannis or Provincetown. I'm gushing...I highly recommend!!
