Dream villa with tropical garden on the canal

We look forward to welcoming you to our dream villa with its beautiful and well-kept south-facing garden! All rooms are tiled and tastefully furnished with attention to detail. You can expect a spacious living and dining area with a view of the canal, a beautiful open kitchen, 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a poker/games room as well as a two-car garage, a solar-heated pool with screen and a jetty. The villa is fully equipped and offers you all the classic amenities as well as a large American barbecue, 4 bicycles, 3 sun loungers, 3 sun chairs, 3 TVs with Amazon FireTV sticks and free WiFi.

You have access to the “Shamrock Lakes” via the canal, there is a bakery 200 m from the house on the same side of the street and there are various shops and restaurants in the immediate vicinity.

The house is well connected by car in all directions:

Cape Coral Beach - 15 min.
Fort Myers Downtown - 10 min.
Fort Myers Beach - 35 min.
Sanibel Island/Captiva - 45 min.

We had a brilliant stay once the villa was cleaned as we arrived very late on the Friday night and it hadn’t been cleaned, other guest bedroom had been cleaned and we could sleep in there, messaged the next morning and cleaned right away, villa was fantastic, comfy bed, home from home, pool was great, sitting at the dock was relaxing, location was fantastic for visiting areas around west Florida, we certainly would recommend and would stay here the next time we are in Florida

Wiederkommen!

Es war wirklich ein schönes Haus in dem man sich sehr wohl fühlen kann! Leider bemerkt man, dass es sich um eine FeWo-Vermittlung handelt, denn es war fast nichts vorhanden (Putzmittel, Toilettenpapier, Gewürze etc.) und auch für den Strand gibt es lediglich beschränkte Utensilien. Auch das Geschirr war dementsprechend rar. Das geparkte Auto in der Garage beschränkt die Nutzung in der Garage. Es könnte besser am Rand positioniert werden! Wenn nicht jeder nur an sich selber, sondern auch an die Nachfolger denken würde, wäre es sehr gut! Die Managerin war sehr hilfsbereit, freundlich und kompetent!

Winter Getaway

My wife and I wanted to escape the cold. We choose this area and house and are glad we did. The communication with the property manager was great and on time and the property was as advertised. This was an enjoyable getaway.

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit

Wir hatten eine schöne Zeit in Ihrem Haus, die Kommunikation war immer freundlich, das Haus war sauber und gemütlich eingerichtet. Zur Begrüßung gab es ein kleines Willkommenspaket für den Haushalt, damit man entspannt in die ersten Tage starten kann. Ein paar Kleingkeiten wurden seitens der Hausverwaltung sofort beseitigt, wir kommen gerne wieder.

Always a great place to stay.

We have stayed here several times before and enjoyed each visit. The solar heated pool is one of the best features. The home is starting to show a little wear but nothing to detract from the visit. Kitchen is lacking in bakeware, such as cookie sheet, pizza sheet, muffin tins. Items that might be good for longer stays.

Disappointed

Have never been checked in and out of a property in Cape Coral. I feel bad for owners, who live in Germany, and trust their people. The house was on a very busy 4 lane road, we got used to the noise, but so many issues. The floors were absolutely filthy, our brand new socks and feet were literally black from walking in the house. So glad that it wasn't hot, because we couldn't turn down the thermostat below 74⁰, I addressed this to owner before we came there. The weather was cool at night, but got to mid to upper 70's but we couldn't use the pool. Solar didnt keep up. No dish cloths or towels. We understand buying soap, paper towels and toilet paper and garbage bags etc. The guest bathroom tub was so old, to a newly renovated home, it was black on the bottom. Sadly, we wouldn't rent agian in Northern Cape Coral, we would go farther south.

Retirement Stay

Very nice house and tremendous amount of room. Very nice pool and environment to be lazy around the pool. Mangement company very responsive to minor problem call. Would definitely rent again, but enjoy the area in the Keys better.

I asked for pool cover to keep heat in so could use only a couple hundred dollars but no response ice maker never replaced or worked whole time lacks utensils for cooki g no pans for pizza to cook only 10 forks so i went and bought some and left the proberty manager was very responsive but apparently owner wont buy things needed the house didnt have tv in all bedrooms the house is nice but on a very busy street close to hospital lots of noise at night if owner would have responded to a few requests would have been a better time

Das Haus ist top !

Das Haus ist sehr schön und genau so wie in der Anzeige beschrieben. Leider liegt das Haus an einer viel befahrenen Strasse. Schöner Poolbereich. Dass das Haus länger leer stand hat man im Poolbereich bemerkt, es waren viele Spinnweben vorhanden und zuviel Wasser im Pool sodass die Wasseroberfläche nicht sehr ansprechend war da die Filteranlage nicht richtig funktionniert hat. Kay von der Agentur hat uns aber schnell geholfen sodass der Pool am Nachmittag genutzt werden konnte. Auch mit dem Fernseher der nicht genutzt werden konnte, da keine Box vorhanden war, hatte Kay schnell eine Lösung und hat 2 Amazon Fire Sticks installiert. Nachrichten kann man aber keine schauen. Alles in Allem waren die 2 Wochen sehr schön. Ein bischen verwundert war ich schon dass wir 114$ Strom nachbezahlen mussten. Wir waren nur 2 Personen und haben sehr drauf geachtet nicht unnötig Strom zu verbrauchen. Die Klimaanlage war nie unter 75 Grad F.

Etwas Luft nach oben

Geräumig, luftig, gut aufgeteilt, ausreichend ausgestattet. Gut wäre es eine Regelung einzuführen, ein Startpaket für den Nächsten zu hinterlassen (Kaffe, Milch, …) damit der erste Tag Stress frei beginnen kann. Grill und Staubsauger bedürfen eine Erneuerung. Die Lage ist sehr zentral, nicht lärmfrei aber im erträglichen Ausmaß. Zugang ins Haus über die Garage ist sehr praktisch. Master Bedroom mit Bad sehr großzügig. Die Strom Nachzahlung von 135 Dollar für 2 Wochen ist satt! (Wir sind keine Stromverschwender) Wir hatten zwei wunderbare Wochen - vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft.

Traumhaus in guter Lage

Wir hatten eine tolle Woche in einem sauberen und sehr gut geschnittenen Haus mit viel Platz, schönen Möbeln und vielen Extras. Die Lage am Hancock Bridge Parkway ist einerseits sehr zentral und man ist super schnell in Restaurants, Supermärkten und drüben in Fort Meyers. Allerdings hat uns der Straßenlärm doch sehr gestört. Es fahren sehr viele Autos auf der Straße und die US Autos/ Motorräder haben zT sehr laute Motoren bzw werden diese sehr laut hochgezogen. Wir wussten das und haben die Villa wegen der Lage und Ausstattung gebucht, noch mal würden wir das wohl eher nicht tun.

Top Notch

Lovely home and much bigger than I expected. It's very well maintained and exceptionally clean. Location is directly on a 4 lane Parkway and traffic is heavy during rush hour but I was surprised that once I entered the home, It was not noticeable. The pool is very well maintained and absolutely beautiful and clean. The neighborhood is very quiet and relaxing.. The master bedroom mattress was uncomfortable and should probably be replaced.The pillows are so flat that we went to Target and bought a couple of feather and down pillows for $35 each. Not a big deal!! Our favorite beach was Barefoot Beach in Bonita Springs which is considered a luxury community. Fort Myers is not far away and our favorite restaurant was Pinchers in Fort Myers..A rental car is a must for your stay. We didn't watch much TV but it would have been nice to stream on Netflix or Hulu, etc. No TVs in this home are "smart" so selection is very limited. Decor is tastefully modern and not overdone. This was a wonderful vacation home for me and I will definitely come back again. Communication with the owners was excellent! They are very responsive.

Beautiful home and clean home. Centrally located close to everything.

My family and I traveled in the month of November, so there was a little chill in the air. The pool didn’t heat up like I thought it would so we didn’t get to use it. The house was located on a busy road so there was a lot of traffic noise. Other than that it was fine.

It was okay

I was honestly surprised that the reviews were all pretty perfect. We had a nice stay and the house was enjoyable but we definitely had a few issues. 1) We were not allowed to turn the air conditioner below 75°. Florida is hot. This made our stay a little uncomfortable as it was hard to sleep. 2) On an opposite note, the water did not get very hot and didn’t stay hot for long. Showers had to be very quick to enjoy them. 3) The house keeper came during our stay without warning. This made us a little uncomfortable as we didn’t know she came until she told me on the phone that she was in our house earlier that morning. We should have at least got a phone call that she was coming in case we ran into her and there was a random person in our house. 4) One of the most frustrating was that the door leading outside was broken so we had to go through the bedroom and bathroom to get to the pool. It was difficult when we were bringing food and drinks outside that we couldn’t just walk from the kitchen to the outdoor table 5) We found a couple cockroaches in the house. I understand it’s Florida it happens, but it definitely wasn’t a pleasure seeing them. 6) The bedroom lock was broken 7) We had to completely clean the whole house before leaving including washing their towels and more. We paid a large cleaning fee for us to clean 8) You get charged if you overuse utilies. We are paying over a thousand dollars to stay at the house, which includes the use of utilities. We shouldn’t have to worry about the lights and air conditioner the entire time while we are spending a ton of money. Don’t get me wrong it was a nice house, but definitely not perfect and I think i’d look into a different home for my next trip.

Just what we needed - gorgeous property!

We booked and stayed for around a month, driving down from Toronto (wife, myself and 10 year old boy). The property is stunning - the house is super clean, all amenities you would need to transplant your lives for a length of time. The landscaping is gorgeous, right on a canal - loads of wildlife - bunnies, iguanas, birds. The pool was perfect and warm, well maintained. The house itself is beautiful, open, spacious, clean and has everything you need for a stay. The check in process was simple, booking even easier. The owner is very communicative when needed and all issues upon arriving and during your stay taken care of immediately. We were working while down there and internet strength and consistency were of concern but we were obviously concerned for nothing . 2 adults online all day working and our little one in virtual school - no issues with speed or connectivity. The location in respect to amenities is very convenient - close to shops a quick run to the beaches and if you need to fly (which I did) only a few hours from Fort Lauderdale. Only 2 things that gave us pause was we had inquired upon booking if there were any additional charges over what was listed and were told no. Upon arrival we were informed there is a hydro (electricity) overage charge if we go over a certain amount per day (the base amount was a little low based on the avrg usage in the area), upon check out as suspected we went over and were told to pay in cash - this was a little off putting as I rarely carry cash. This should have been outlined prior to booking. The second thing is the road noise. This house is on a busy street and at times can be quite loud at night. I only point this out so you all know but aside from noting this, it did not impact our enjoyment. This was just what we needed after a long year locked down and a cold winter. I would recommend this home for a stay!
