Welcome to the Merry Mermaid Treehouse. Our home is a 2 story house with a rooftop deck and GULF VIEWS! Just across the street from beach, the location can't be beat.

Our brand new heated pool and spa in the private backyard oasis is amazing and ready for you (games included for the kids: connect 4, pool basketball, and bag toss). Outdoor TV for watching your favorite game in the hot tub!

Our street has a dock on the bay that is great for fishing, kayaking access, or to be picked up by boat. In a five minute walk you can be to all the wonderful restaurants and bars on historic Bridge Street. Hello live music and nightlife!!

The home features two true master suites. The main-level master has its own kitchenette and also contains a trundle bed in addition to a king bed. Open concept kitchen , dining, and living on the main floor. The bunk-room on the main floor also has a full bath. It was remodeled in 2023 to CUSTOM bunks: 2 queens + 2 twins! Perfect for adults AND kids! The upstairs master, with a private exterior stairwell, has large windows providing you amazing light and a mini fridge & coffee bar.

We have a brand new 6-person golf cart available for rental through a local company, exclusive to our property, so it is always available as an option for our guests.

This house was great! It was so close to the beach it was just across the street. The roof top patio displayed the most amazing sunsets. The host was very responsive, all questions were answered promptly. She also provided many great restaurants, most within walking distance. Property was clean and well maintained. We had an amazing time and would recommend this property.

I lost count of how many times my family said, "best vacation ever." The house, the location, Matthew and Ashley, and...well everything were amazing. The house offers amazing views, amenities and details that make for a perfect stay. Down to the little details such as fantastic cookware and comfortable furniture from room too room, it all made this vacation hard to leave. We hope to back as soon as we can!

Great location and view!!!

Gorgeous home, very fun place to stay! The host was extremely responsive. Plenty of restaurants nearby. The pool was a savior for kids who get tired of the sand at the beach quickly. The view from the deck is lovely.

Wonderful Spring Break trip!

We had a great week at this wonderful home! Everything was well thought out & the location was perfect. Plenty of dining options close & the beach was right across the street- so easy. Matt & Ashley were awesome to work with and the communication throughout booking and our stay was seamless. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.Thanks Matt & Ashley for everything!

It doesn't get better than this!

This was our first time in Anna Maria and we loved it! The house was perfect...from location to all of the amenities it just couldn't have been better. We didn't have to think about picking up things like hand soap or dishwasher detergent, the home had everything we needed. It is right across the street from the beach which made it so easy to spend a few hours there and then bounce back to spend time in the pool. We will definitely be back!

Great Spot

We had a great trip staying here for 5 nights. The house was very clean and supplied everything we needed for beach days. Very close to Bridge Street and a variety of restaurant options. Would highly recommend!

Bradenton Beach Delight

We enjoyed staying at this beach house for two weeks at the end of February. The house is unique with a heated pool and spa, 2nd floor outdoor deck, and a prime location directly across the street from a beautiful beach with easy access to an incredible array of other amenities. There were six of us who visited, our daughter & her husband, two teenage children and ourselves. The 2nd floor suite has a king bed, a cozy lounge sofa and double doors that opened outside to the spacious and furnished roof deck. It was here that we all enjoyed the evening sunset. A bath is adjacent. This suite offered great privacy and views. Downstairs was the large open living area, dining room for 6 and open kitchen. The kitchen was well equipped for cooking and had sufficient plates, glasses, utensils. Two additional bedrooms are located on this first floor. The teenagers chose the rear bedroom that had two bunk beds and two double beds. The adjacent bath was spacious and updated. We chose the front room with a king bed and bath that also contained a small kitchenette and twin trundle bed. The overall feeling was that each bedroom was very quiet and private, and all bathrooms are well supplied. We were able to use the heated pool & spa on cool days and then utilize the many beach chairs, and umbrellas on the warmer days at beach visits. Communication with the owners exceeded expectations. One of the best rentals we’ve had in the Longboat Key to Anna Maria Island area.

Great stay-would stay again!

The owners of this property are incredibly responsive. I consider this as close to the beach as you can get without being on the beach. The pool is fantastic! There were a few items (ceiling fan in master upstairs) that could have been cleaned better, and the large shade umbrella on the deck plus a toilet paper holder in one bathroom were broken prior to arrival, which was disappointing. The kitchen had every amenity possible. The game table was awesome! The upstairs master worked for our family but if our kids were younger it would not have been ideal as you have to access from outside steps. I’m not sure why this place doesn’t have more amazing reviews. It was great! It is a solid 4 to 4.5 stars.

Trip of a lifetime!

My husband and I took our teenage boys and their friends for a week at the beach. It’s not easy entertaining teens- but we were a stones throw from the ocean AND the bay and a couple blocks from bridge street. This place had it all. A heated pool tvs everywhere plenty of beds and bathrooms, soft towels, pool towels, pots and pans. Lived this place!!!

Everything about our trip to AMI was absolutely perfect!!! We loved being greeted by a super cute welcome basket and a very clean and cute beach home. The location of the house is just WOW!! Nothing beats being steps away from the beach, a quick walk to all the shops and food, breathtaking sunset view, and of course the amazing pool /backyard. Traveling with young kids isn't easy and this place had everything we needed and more. Just bring your swim suits and sunscreen and be ready for a great time!!!!!

Perfect Spring Break for entire family!

This was our first time to the area and it was an amazing week! The home exceeded our expectations in many ways - the location was perfect for easy beach access and short walks to restaurants and shopping - the pool and area around it was very nice for everyone to gather outside - the home’s layout was awesome for our family as it allowed everyone to have their own space but also the opportunity to gather and spend time together - the amenities provided by the host were above and beyond anything we have ever experienced through other short term rentals - communication with the host was always quick and helpful when we had questions - the list could go on and on! There were so many little things we noticed and appreciated every time we turned around. We highly recommend this home as we know you will not be disappointed! We look forward to our next visit.

Quick Family Getaway

We just got back from our first trip to Bradenton Beach. We stayed at the Merry Mermaid and had a wonderful time- our boys can't wait to go back. The house is amazing exactly how it shows in pictures. They thought about everything you would ever need for a beach trip- you literally need nothing but your clothes. The location is great- directly across the street from the beach and only a few blocks away to the downtown area. Ashley was amazing to work with. We are already planning our next trip down.

Great location

Our stay here was wonderful! Ashley was very kind and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. When a small issue came up at the house, she had a handyman at the property quickly to resolve it. The location of this home is perfect. It is a 2 minute walk to the beach. We went to the beach each morning around 7am and had it mostly to ourselves until about noon! The home is setup great for visiting with family. Highly recommend – thanks, Ashley!

Mermaid House

The house is in a great location within walking distance from bridge street and right across the street from the beach. You can see the ocean from the deck of the house. We really enjoyed our stay and the host was excellent! We will be back again soon.

Perfect beach house

We have never been to Anna Maria before and we loved our stay here . The beach house is comfy and has everything you need. We loved running each morning along the fun walkway to the bridge to see the dolphins and even saw a manatee!!! It was also very convenient to have a house within walking distance so we didn’t have to park and the kids could run back and forth. I thought the host was very very easy to work with and went out of her way to make sure we were having a good time. Even helped us get a late checkout after our flights got changed . I would stay here again and will because we loved the island !!

Mermaid Treehouse

My husband and I have been to AMI several times, but this was a family vacation with our adult kids and grand babies(almost 2 and 4), so we needed a bigger rental than usual. So many great things to report about our family’s stay. Beach is across the street. Easy walking distance to Bridge Street and several restaurants. The house is clean, comfortable and just as pictured and advertised. Quiet at night. It was well supplied with beach toys, boogie boards, towels, chairs, umbrella, cooler and a cart to get it there. Coffee makers on both levels had us easily enjoying morning coffees up on the deck. Plenty of space for together time and privacy as well. Owner was outstanding with communication and we had no problems or complaints.

Family beach vacay

There aren’t enough words to describe how fantastic this beach house is. We had 4 adults and 4 children, ages 4 and under. The house was perfect for everyone. Every possible accommodation was available for our stay . So many personal touches from welcoming baskets, coffee, comfy beds and linens . All you need to bring is a bathing suit. The house is steps away from the beach , close to restaurants and shops at Bridge Street. Ashley, the property owner was in constant communication and provided everything we needed. I can highly recommend this property. We will probably book it in the future. It was a perfect Family Vacation Retreat!!

The outdoor space is private and the plush tropical trees and foliage offer great shaded space (the pool/spa is AMAZING!). We love to wake up with ocean views and enjoy coffee on the rooftop deck--you can't beat that ocean breeze!! We offer an upscale home with impeccable service in an extraordinary location. You will love it :)

This home is very unique in that the sleeping spaces are very private and set on opposite sides of the home (with one master suite upstairs). If you love to vacation with your family, but have some privacy, this is the place for you! In addition, both of the master suites have their own private (exterior) entrance, making it easy to come and go without disturbing anyone else in your party.
