Aspectos positivos: Limpieza, llegada, comunicación y ubicación
Off the beaten path
Wonderful rustic open island style bungalow tucked into the jungle. This place has screens with wood louvers as opposed to glass windows, as well as a screened in porch with hammock and chairs provide protection from the few bugs that were present. There is a mango tree overhead that was in season! We helped ourselves every morning! It has access to all the amenities of Palemtto Bay - swimming pool, the Cove restaurant (surprisingly good pasta dishes) and dive shop (Scuba Roatan). The place was well stocked with drinking water, towels, paper goods, etc. It did get pretty hot (we visited during a heat wave). One bedroom has AC as well as the living room that helped take the edge off, but it was pretty brutal inside at times. Fortunately, we finally go a bit of breeze to help at the end of the stay.
It is out of the way of the general tourist areas but still within east distance - we would easily run down to West End or Sandy Bay for dining or activities.
