Ubicado en Palmetto Bay en el lado norte de la isla, un largo tramo de playa de arena blanca es la manera perfecta de relajarse. Palmetto Bay, Larubeya Beachfront House

This place was absolutely amazing; from the time we arrived until the day we left 7 days later was incredible. Our Concierge Carolina was there every step of the way, from booking reservations to keeping us informed on Island wide power outages. Bring Oil Based Bug Spray, the Sand Flies will eat you alive. Should be expected you are on a tropical island in the Carribean. The Pool was cleaned at least every other day if not every day. The house was way better than the pictures, they do not do it justice. All the rooms have split units, you need to turn off when you leave the house, but don't worry they work great in cooling everything back down upon your return. If I could give 10 stars i would. Dive Shop is right there, Amanda, Sam, Eric and Carlos great dive experience. Best money I have ever spent on a vacation home.

Beautiful location. The Cove bar and restaurant are 2 mins walk. We enjoyed The Cove but there was miscommunication about specials so I would ask before ordering at Happy Hour. The house was very comfortable and spacious. Carolina arranged affordable shuttles when needed. We rented a car and found that very helpful. Avis is just out the airport doors. Very small and easy airport. Get groceries at Eldon’s in coxen hole before you arrive to the house. If you have a large group, buy extra paper towels and toilet paper. We used Chef Blackie (Loretta Wood) when we arrived and the night we left. She is awesome. Her son is Reagon Wood (Captain R) and does fishing and snorkel trips. He picks you up at the dock near the Cove. Super convenient. Loretta’s husband Marty also offers shuttles. The Brewery is “on property” and was so much fun but we chose to take the 1 minute drive due to the bugs. Take lots of bug spray and itch relief ointment. You will need it. It’s just island life. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property and Roatan overall!

Great Stay at Great Place

The house was beautiful and the location is perfect. The neighborhood is secluded and very quiet. The house was spotless and the pool was clean. Everything needed for preparing meals our group of 8 adults was at the house. There were plenty of beach and bath towels. Toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, body wash) were provided.The Cove restaurant is an easy walking distance from the house and serves great meals and entertainment. We took in both the native dance show and the fire dancers show at The Cove. Both were excellent. There is a scuba and dive shop located on the property at The Cove. There is The Brewery within walking distance just out side of the neighborhood. Excellent local brewed beers and great light meals. The beaches were cleaned almost every day we were there. Overall, the stay was absolutely perfect.

Perfection in Paradise!!!

The house was amazing, so comfortable, richly and really feels like a home instead of a rental! The pool was our best friend. If we weren’t in the ocean we were in the pool. Felt extremely safe with the security taking care of the area. The restaurant staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. The nearby (walkable) brewery was amazing. Cristina was the most helpful host I have ever had. She made many arrangement for us including massages for our entire family arranged in our home. This home away from home was the best part of our visit to Roatan!!!

Loved the house and location

So this foing to be bit lengthy however want to fully explain this property and are stay. The home is beautiful, spacious and in a great location. The gated community of Palmetto Bay was private and the beach and amenities were awesome.

Our family loved the house and Palmetto Bay! It was a fantastic place to explore with kids, and the house couldn’t have been more comfortable. Highly recommend!

So Peaceful

The home is everything it says it is and wonderfully appointed. A beautiful view of the beach and water out of the back wall of windows. There was plenty of room for everyone. The extra master suite was very nice too. It is in a super quiet neighborhood. we rented a car so being away from attractions/restaurants wasn't a big deal for us. A place called the brewery(which is excellent) was very close by. We had everything we needed for cooking breakfast in the kitchen. Everyone in the group agreed that we would stay here again if we came back to Roatan. I also don't want to forget about the hosts-immediate reply to every correspondence and incredibly fast repair of any problem. The propane tank ran out one morning and it was literally minutes and they had it back on. Just a fantastic experience overall!

It is indisputable that this property was misrepresented for two primary reasons. 1. Thereisnostatementorwarninginthewebsitedescriptionorinlistingofamenitiesprovided; of insects existing in and around the property or the need to use insect repellent as the owners argue in the CORRESPONDENCE WITH OWNERS section. They argue “...and , a complete contradiction to theirargument. All guest in our party have 20-50 bug bites that are infected including a ten month old infant (see pictures in section labeled BUG BITE EXAMPLES) and we found many bugs inside the house and crawling on our bodies. After incurring numerous bug bites, we completely isolated ourselves inside the property to prevent further infection (assuming that the bugs were located outside). Unfortunately, this did not solve the problem, and our group continued to receive new bites. This proves that the house is infested with bugs inside as repellent at the property and recommend its use on our websiteguests and provide solutions such as repellentsrepellent available just as they provide salt, pepper and soap, however there is no warning orrecommendation to use bug spray. Also, the website description (listed below) states “open the patio doors to let in the fresh ocean breeze.” and “; both statements are false. They do havewe provide we do our best to inform shown by the pictures of the insects we put on the table after picking them off ourbodies.. This is completely unacceptable and resulted in

AMAZING!! A+

Our overall experience with the house as well as Carolina was nothing short of amazing. The house is located in a gated like community. We never did not feel safe. A security guard checks you in each time you come into the neighborhood to ensure no strangers are coming in. We got to the house and our breath was taken away. Its a huge house, tons of room, plenty of bedrooms, bathrooms etc. The wifi worked great and the best part of it all, the air conditioning was AMAZING!!! (In Roatan you don't have that most places) You have your own private beach that is cleaned and raked every couple of mornings if not every morning. We hung out in the pool everyday just about and even at night time. At night time they have security guards drive up and down the beach to ensure no trespassers as well. Carolina was very responsive and got everything we needed. She was the best property manger we have had on VRBO to this date. You are a 2 min drive to the Roatan Brewing Company which has amazing drinks and food. Everything else on the island is a short 15-20 min drive. West Bay was only a 20 min drive. This is our second time in Roatan and this house is located perfectly on the island to get to any location quickly. I will recommend this house to ANYONE going to Roatan and we will 100% be coming back. Well done!

Awesome time

First off the concierge Caroline met our flight, took us grocery shopping, and was a bright note throughout our stay. The villa was a perfect getaway. The restaurant was a few minutes walk along the beach and their food was delicious. It is a great place for family gatherings. We’re sorry our family was unable to join us, but overall we had a great time. So great we were wishing we could have had a few more days.

We rented this property from Saturday to Saturday and really enjoyed our stay. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. It is located in a secluded guarded neighborhood. We had six to eight adults in the house our entire stay and did not feel crowded at all. There is a restaurant/bar located just a few houses down the beach. Very convenient. Our host Carolina was great to work with and even bought a few groceries for us so that we would not have to rush to the supermarket as soon as we arrived. There are only a few suggestions I would make to make this an even better property. The kitchen could use a few more cooking utensils such as a cheese grater and plastic serving/cooking spoons. It would also be helpful to have some plastic storage containers. The living area could use more lounge/comfortable seating. We end up bring chairs down from an upstairs bedroom but that worked out fine. Overall it was a great stay and if ever coming back to Roatan we would certainly stay here again.

We had a great time at this place. We didnt rent a car so needed transportation to all destinations which we knew ahead of time. Beach can b swimable if u get past the sea grass. Manager answered all questions in a timely matter. Had steak and lobster at the cove. It was awesome. We would return again

Big and Beautiful

Beautiful home, much larger than the pictures show, with a kitchen full of appliances needed to cook. AC works wonderful! Property manager was the BEST we have worked with. She was quick to respond to questions prior to and during trip, assisted with vehicle rental, and securing reservations for excursions where we didn’t run into the cruise ship crowd. Palmetto Bay is in the middle of the island, which was a perfect location to visit places all over the island, secure, beautiful, and has a restaurant onsite with great food, drinks and hospitality. Our group couldn’t have been happier during this vacation.

Beautiful beach front villa

Probably the most beautiful beach front villa we stayed in. First time on Roatan. We’ve stay in the US Virgin Isabel several times and this was by far the nicest most picturesque villa we’ve stay in!
