Hermoso apartamento de 2 dormitorios en el histórico Edinburgh Central

Esta hermosa, elegante y muy cuidadosamente restaurado Apartamento Planta primera, ofrece todo lo que pueda desear para que su estancia en Edimburgo simplemente perfecto. El apartamento tiene todavía chimeneas georgianas originales y bellos corniceing todos muestran a la perfección por la transmisión de luz a través de las grandes ventanas georgianas.

Hay un amplio salón - off que es
: La cocina / comedor que es brillante y soleado y bien equipado. Junto a la cocina es un lavadero totalmente equipada con lavadora, secadora y congelador.
: Un gran dormitorio doble.
: Un salón con grandes cómodas sillas sofá de cuero y de cuero. También hay una gran TV proyectó plana con reproductor de DVD.
: Cuarto de baño con bañera / ducha.
: Camas dobles con baño propio con ducha.
: WC / guardarropa

Debido a Cumberland Street siendo relativamente estrecha, es muy tranquila, con muy poco tráfico por lo que es el lugar perfecto para descansar después de un día ajetreado en la ciudad.

Quaint Apartment

The pictures posted for this place do not do it justice!! Beautiful apartment, cute inside! It’s clean, quiet and about a 15 min walk from the main streets of Edinburgh. Stairs getting up to flat are a little wobbly - so if you’re not great on your feet be careful going up! The host left us an helpful information pack on the day of our arrival,and did a check in mid way through our trip to see if we needed anything, which was nice! I would stay here again!

Edinburg stay

Location was great, we walked everywhere. Loved having 3 different bathrooms and 3 beds. The apartment was very spacious, and really enjoyed hanging out in the main living room, having coffee or tea and chatting.. The only drawback was parking. We has to park 20-30 minutes from the apartment, at 22 pounds per day, so don't recommend having a car and staying here. Everything else was great! So is a good host, very communicative. Thanks for sharing your home with us!

Wonderful but parking description in listing not accurate

This was our first time in Edinburgh. The apartment was clean and spacious for two couples. Our host, Di, was welcoming and responsive to our questions. Everything we wanted to see was within walking distance. Our one complaint is that the listing stated that the apartment has "parking on site" which it DOES NOT. There is street parking outside the building and it is expensive if you can find it-- 5£ for four hours and then you have to move your vehicle. We chose this place in large part because of having parking provided which it did not. Highly recommend if you don't have a vehicle; if you do, now you know and can plan accordingly.

Great stay!

Our stay was great. We were extremely comfortable at 55 Cumberland St. it had everything we needed. The place was central to what we wanted to do in Edinburgh. If we didn’t want to walk, it was about a £7-8 Uber ride. We would stay again if we go back!

A great stay in Edinburgh

Excellent location. The flat was warm and cosy which we appreciated given the weather at the time was wet and very cold. Had everything we needed for an enjoyable stay and experience of Edinburgh. The host was so easy to communicate with and quick with replies.

New town gem

This review might be posted twice. We stayed for five nights in November; two adults and two teens. The apartment was precisely as advertised. It was very clean, very well appointed. Check in was easy, the location is terrific and the owner Di is very responsive. Two bathrooms, in-suite laundry, well stocked kitchen and comfortable beds. Round the corner from great pubs and restaurants and a tesco express. Will stay here again. Highly recommend!

Location, location, location

The flat was just what we needed. It’s location was great. Quiet new town street but only minutes away from Stockbridge or “ uptown”. We’d recommend it anyone visiting Edinburgh.

Loved staying here! Great neighborhood to be a part of. Accommodations were nice, the location was convenient with proximity to stores, etc. Walk to downtown, the castle, and other areas was very doable. Would stay here again.

Handy place to stay

We enjoyed our stay and were able to walk from the city in about 15 minutes - the downhill way. The flat was clean and had everything we needed. We cooked our breakfast daily and we’re glad to have a dishwasher to clean things up for us. My only caveat is that the flat is up a set of 100 plus year old stone steps that curve around and have been worn by years of feet. If you are not surefooted you will have a problem getting up and down

Great flat in a convenient location

The flat was spotless and had everything we needed. We found the location great for seeing the sights. It is a bit hilly so we paid £5 each for a day ticket on the bus which got us up to the castle and the royal mile and further afield. Also hopped on a bus to Leith which was well worth it. Highly recommended property and a friendly host. Thankyou Di!

60th Birthday in Edinburgh New Town

The flat was beautiful with plenty of room for 4 adults. The flat had everything we needed for our stay. The host Di, was easily contacted by email via Vrbo UK and responded quickly. Situated in the New Town area which was a short walk to the main sight seeing areas. There are plenty of bars and restaurants to choose from in the local area. Overall we had a great stay in Edinburgh.

Beautiful New Town Apartment

Beautiful, bright and spacious apartment in the best part of Edinburgh; close enough to all the attractions, but a peaceful residential neighbourhood on an evening. Added bonus of two bathrooms, which was handy for us, as we were two couples.

Great location!

A wonderful, clean and large flat with all the amenities you could ask for. Great location, an easy walk to Stockbridge and quick buses to Leith and Old town. We would definitely stay here again , but next time for a longer visit.

Great New Town pied a terre

This is a great apartment in which to have a "real" Edinburgh New Town experience. It's a really comfortable and well equipped flat. The location is brilliant and there are great shops and restaurants within easy reach. Great hosts who were very communicative. The hosts have prepared a comprehensive info pack. Would strongly recommend.

Apartment in excellent neighborhood

We enjoyed our stay in this cozy apartment. The spacious living room invites to sit and play games. We cooked and ate in the kitchen with good equipment even though we were not used to gas cooking. The generous bathroom is a definite plus. If you have a bit taller teenagers the beds are a tiny bit short in the second bedroom. All around a very nice place.

Warm, bright, comfortable and very central in a beautiful and very historic neighbourhood.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

Central and full of character. The flat is surrounded by many bars, restaurants, antiques shops, art shops and galleries and many small shops offering everything from crystal chandeliers to speciality cheeses. Even though a few minutes away from all of these facilities, Cumberland Street is quiet so a good nights sleep can be enjoyed.
