Welcome to FORT MORGAN MARINA 1, a stylish and newly renovated 1-bedroom condo located right on the scenic Fort Morgan Marina. This hotel-style unit comfortably sleeps up to 4 guests and offers a king bedroom, a sleeper sofa, and a semi-private balcony with stunning bay and marina views. Guests can enjoy watching boats, spotting dolphins, or taking in breathtaking sunsets from the balcony.



While this condo does not include a full kitchen or in-unit washer/dryer, it features a full-size refrigerator, microwave, and smart TVs in both the living room and bedroom. Complimentary coffee is available 6 am–12 pm daily at the Dock Store next door, and Tacky Jacks 2 restaurant is steps away for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. Guests can also rent boat slips at the marina for $2 per foot, which includes trailer parking, making it ideal for boating enthusiasts.

Anniversary Getaway

We had a wonderful stay in this room located at the marina in Fort Morgan. Just steps away from Tacky Jacks, three doors down from an ice cream shop (which can be good or bad depending on how much you like ice cream!). We worried parking might be a huge issue since the lot is shared by the marina, restaurant and guests staying, but it was actually never a problem. The Morgantown public beach access was only a few minutes down the road (get there early, or no parking). We were comfortable and enjoy the time we spent at our little “condotel.” We would stay again..

Very nice. Clean. If staying alone, be prepared to be the only person there after around 10 pm. I’m not a fraidy cat so it was perfect. Quiet and peaceful. ❤️

Single Mom Approved!

I took my kids, daughter (13) and son (8) and my mother on a last minute surprise trip to visit family while they were vacationing at the beach! I needed a place clean, safe, affordable and that’s exactly what I got! The location was perfect, the size of the place was perfect, the management was perfect, and I couldn’t wait to show off my new little find to the rest of my family! I loved that the Dock-store is next door and Tacky Jacks is on the other side which serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The kids and I enjoyed watching the boats come in with their catch of the day with the breeze on the covered deck. The ice cream shop and gift store were great as well. We had everything we needed right there! Down side… when Tacky Jacks is busy… parking is a little inconvenient to those staying at the marina. Note: If you plan on using the foldout couch… bring a thick mattress topper or an air mattress to lay on top as recommenced by management!!!

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I recently purchased a fishing boat which I store at Fort Morgan Marina. This is a nice place with a great staff and the rooms there are nice and convenient for fishing trips. We have stayed there a few times and have always enjoyed our stay. That’s the happy part. Unfortunately the pricing is almost double the hotel in Gulf Shores so i guess we will need to stay in Gulf Shores and fish out of Fort Morgan. That’s the sad part.

The highs and lows of our stay

I was never answered when trying to contact the host online. It did take a day or two and then the property manager text messaged me on my telephone. they were willing to allow me to check in early which was still nice, and they gave me one hour later checkout time which I appreciated. I started asked questions about the Wi-Fi and the TV and the property manager did not know about the TV and said that there was no Internet, even though they advertise Internet. They argued with me back-and-forth and told me I mistaken and sorry for my confusion. I was highly upset to find out they did not have Internet , because I also had work to do and I really wanted to watch TV. I actually had to go back and take photos and use arrows to point out that smart TVs and also Internet was advertised. finally proving them wrong, I got no apology, and after theyno longer responded to my messages, until the next day. they gave me a code to get into the door, but never told me there would be more buttons I should press in order to open the door after the code, which took me over 30 minutes to figure out by trying different combinations. When I walked in I thought the place was very cute. As I was unpacking I saw a sign on the kitchen counter that gave a Wi-Fi net work with password. SMH!! After all that the TVs worked and they also had Wi-Fi!! They told me no WiFi and I was welcome to go next-door to the restaurant to use their public Wi-Fi. I was highly irritated because of all of the wasted time and energy, due to the lack of knowledge about the rental unit they were in charge of. It was not the host. it was the property manager. The bed was comfy, the shower was very nice, no bowls or cups or plates but did have silverware. The restaurant next doors food is so/so but the atmosphere was nice, beach right across street, the balcony at night was nice, and no one in sight after 11pm. The water view with the boats were nice to walk out to, and the price was very reasonable. The prop manager did check the next day to see how our first night was, but I no longer engaged with them after the hours I had wasted with them from before. I just couldn’t. I would rent again, but I would find out about local attractions that I couldn’t do for free like it said cause they couldn’t tell me anything about it, and you have to book 24 before hand which I didn’t know and found out to late after the fact. Besides property manager dealings and bad communication place was great! We❤️‘D

Fishing at Ft Morgan

Intent for staying at the Marina was to use the marina since we have a boat. Could not get Marina to return phone call for slip and trailer storage. Could not even get answers once we checked in. Music on the balcony plays loud all night and no way to get anyone to turn it down. No wifi. Nice little place but not ready for prime time when it comes to what matters relative to staying out in Ft. Morgan.
