We had 4 generations traveling to enjoy a long weekend on the Gulf of Mexico to include beaches and fishing. The house fits the beach vibe and included a pool table, foosball, and shuffle board. Linens and towels were delightful as were all the mattresses; we all slept very well. The kitchen had just about every appliance one could imagine to include a K-pod coffee machine and plenty of pods. Including a few more kitchen basics beyond salt, pepper, and cooking oil would be nice. The pool was nice and warm despite the unseasonably cooler weather. We appreciated the high chair and crib that the owner provided.

Nice poolside setting, heated pool was amazing. The kitchen has all the items needed to make yourself at home. It was nice to have a fridge downstairs next to the pool. Perfect for multiple couples as it has 5 separate bedrooms and 4 baths. The 6th room was open room when you walked in from the pool. Great stay overall would recommend!!

This was a house meant to accommodate a large group. Perfect for a family reunion type event. There was a pool table, shuffle board, and various entertainment options. The pool was heated and used frequently by our guests. The spiral staircase is cute, but the owner provided safety measures which was appreciated since we had some early elementary age kids in our group. We enjoyed our stay.

They stay was pleasant, the pool was nice and the fishing straight from the dock was really fun. All the kids and grandkids loved the games in the house to occupy their doen time when not outside. Woukd definitely rent from again.

Nada with the Evolve team is amazing! However, from the get-go my communication with the local host, Christina left a lot to be desired. I had to change dates and Christina instructed me to go in and change it myself, luckily I reached out to Nada who advised me not to do that. Nada handled the issue. On Saturday evening my elderly in laws locked us out of the house and the keys in the key box did not work. We reached out to Christina, who was not helpful at all; her tone, her attitude. She said there would be no way she could find a locksmith at 10 o’clock at night and said she was reaching out to the owner and hung up. No goodbye, no I’ll call you back, no I’m sorry the wrong keys are in the key box. Nothing. Just hung up. She sent me a text about 30 minutes later saying per owner we could all sleep downstairs until she was able to get a locksmith. Mind you, we were there for graduation on Saturday and were in the middle of baking desserts and making decorations for the party on Saturday. I explained all that to her in a text and explained that our dog was still in the main house. I never heard back from her until the following morning at 8:30. Sidenote, the first locksmith we called was available but was going to charge 250. I didn’t feel I should have to pay for their mistake; the keys in the key box should have worked! I’ll never rent another house that Christina is in charge of.

Great time!

This house has everything you could possibly need and more. Having a stocked kitchen and bathrooms, comfortable beds, private pool and towels, pool table, shuffleboard and great communication with the host equals a great time for sure. We can't wait to come back!

We brought one offshore boat and two bay boats with the intention of keeping one on the trailer. This wasn't necessary the canal is wide enough to raft two of the boats without causing any inconvenience to other residents.

Fun family vacation

We had a fun stay at Captains Quarters. The house has lots of great games and amenities. We loved the downstairs game room and the pool by the pier. The host was super responsive and even came out to assist us with the wifi. Its in a great location right in the middle of Rockport and Aransas pass. Super fun for families with kids. We loved our stay and I would definitely recommend Captains Quarters for your next stay.

Home was as advertised. It was super comfy and convenient to fish, swim and grab a bite to eat. The owner was super friendly and helpful. With the small issues we had, he was super quick to answer my questions and make sure we were super comfortable.

8 old men annual trip

For 5 years some high school buddies have gone fishing. We are happy to have found the Captains Quarters for this April’s trip. The host, Mark, was just right. He offered assistance, but none was necessary. The house was perfect and the neighbor was kind too. The Shuffleboard, billiards table and foosball table kept us busy for 3 days and the pool is heated. We will definitely be back.

Fun family weekend

The location of the house is great. Being able to park our boat at house after fishing is as just what we wanted. Having a pool at the house to entertain the kids while groups were out fishing was perfect. Bedrooms were just as described and plenty of bathrooms for everyone to use.
