Great accommodations for a mini family getaway. Our host had everything we needed to be comfortable. The house was well maintained, great updates and very clean. Lake city is a beautiful little city and close to other towns for touring. Perfect little gem, highly recommend!

Great stay!

The house is very clean with a cool modern style. All the amenities were perfect for our stay. The location is walkable to the lake and downtown. Moreover, the host was responsive and accommodating to our last minute changes. I highly recommend this rental property!

Everything we needed!

What a beautiful place to call home for a few days! We were in town for our granddaughters wedding and staying here allowed more family time together than a hotel room ever could. The place was beautiful and Jessica was very helpful with all we needed. Very clean and comfortable! We would definitely like to visit again and enjoy this beautiful area.

Relaxing Stay by the Lake!

When we arrived, we were completely impressed by the cleanliness of the property. Jessica did an amazing job getting the house ready for our stay. We enjoyed the closeness to Ohuta Beach, the small downtown area and the access to the great backyard! Our children really enjoyed the firepit in the back as well. We would definitely stay again in the future.

Great getaway weekend.

We hadn't been to the area in years and decided to make a long weekend of it with friends. Our VRBO rental in Lake City was perfect. Very clean, comfortable beds, and close to area attractions. We hiked for miles at Frontenac State Park just a few miles down the road, took in the Eagle Center in Wabasha, and ventured over to towns on the Wisconsin side of the river. Beautiful scenery, great fall colors, and good places to eat.

Lake City wedding

Jessica was ideal to work with, very responsive and informative. Her home is in a perfect location a block off the main road and river. The backyard is a double lot so very private. We really appreciated how quiet the home was. Everything was recently renovated and looks great. Many large windows so abundant natural light - even with the clouds and rain we experienced. Walkable to restaurants and the river. Check in was easy with the code provided- so much nicer than doing a “walk thorough” with someone. We also appreciated having a garage to park in because there were severe storms forecasted with possible hail. Very clean home and mattresses are comfortable. Would reserve here again if staying in Lake City. Thank you Jessica

Good, not great

Overall this property served its purpose. We brought our own wood and used the fire pit in the backyard but the long grass was kind of annoying and maybe a couple of extra chairs would be nice. The bedroom with the glass door could use a blackout shade for sleeping in. The coffee maker doesn’t have an automatic shutoff so it baked the coffee all day while we were gone, not a big deal but couldn’t figure out what the weird smell was when we got back. Lastly, I thought the price was a little steep but it was a last minute thing on Water Ski Days so everything in town was booked. Overall, good

This guest left us a poor review 4/10 stars. Here is the message I received from them. “We have a family emergency (mother in law in hospital) so we will be checking out by 10:30. We only used one bedroom and we stripped the bed. Used towels will be on the floor in bathroom. Sorry we couldn’t enjoy this beautiful area for another day and 1/2.” They left early due to a family emergency. This shouldn’t reflect poorly on our property. This was not our fault. This review is disappointing to say the least.
