Great location

We really enjoyed our stay here. Next door to Beach Park across the street from Deli and restaurants; stores and lots of food trucks within a 10 minute walk. The condo is nice and comfortable but slightly run down; in need of minor repairs (lamps, screen doors etc). Good Wi-Fi; it went down after 5 days but within an hour they had a guy here to fix it.

Paki Maui 118

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Paki Maui is a very dated garden unit, the overall condition... Well, many items are not in working condition, the ceiling fans/light did not work, tub drain was not attached, bath light was falling off, toilet seat is broken, screen door lock broke, Lanai furniture is rusty and old, and all furnishings are passed their useful life. With all that being said the price reflects those issues... West Maui is exceedingly expensive, so the unit has value to a traveler on a budget. You still have access to the complex amenities, Ocean front, pool, grills etc. Also, the location is good, the grocery store is in walking distance as well as ABC stores next door, and the Fish Market across the street has probable the best deal on super good fish tacos on the island! My family agreed that this unit was doable for the value.

Maui gone wrong

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: I was very disappointed with my unit. The bed room had no extra blankets or sheets. The ceiling fan had one speed and you could not feel the air flowing through the bed room. The whole unit was HOT as ****. The bathroom tub was gross. There were black stains all over the tub. The floors and grout were dirty. Lots of mosquitos because the unit is next to a green pond that harbors the mosquitoes. I probably got bit well over 20 times. This mosquitoes got into the unit because the screen to the window in the bedroom did not fit. The kitchen had poorlighting. The dishwasher was falling out of the cabinet. So many things wrong. Wish I never paid to stay there. I was miserable the whole time. I will not recommend that unit ever!!!

Worst Hawaiian vacation in 50 years

Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our flt. was early and we arrived at property two hours early and asked to be let in but the request was denied. The condo was already cleaned as it was vacant several days prior to our arrival. MY WIFE HAD TOTAL RIGHT KNEE REPLACMENT THE END OF march and it was swollen after the 5 hour flight. Our request fell on deaf ears. I HAVE BEEN COMING TO Maui since 1968 and have never stayed in a more outdated, broken down property in my life. The ceiling fan in the bedroom was broken, the safe in closet was inoperable, closet doors were off and would not close properly, one wine glass in cupboard, one steak knife, two mismatched glasses in unit, kitchen faucet leaked all over counter when turned on, leak under refrigerator that maintainence sopped up with towels and called it good and I could go on and on!! T condo needs lots of loving care and if it were mine I would be ashamed to rent it out in that condition. I wont be surprised if I dont hear from you as this is actually the second negative review I have sent regarding this condo.

whale watching from appartement beach

Chris -manager- (german speaking) was professional,very helpful, friendly and had allways to our questions a quick+ competent answer. +++Activities: whale watching with pacwhale eco tours (Lahaina) was one of my most touching experiences!Love to come back :-)

Place central located

Basic essentials nothing fancy . No AC. But floor was stained and bath towels need to be replaced .. smelled stale and back yard was over grown . Needs fresh look and new pics . Over all was nice stay

Condo is good!

Condo is clean and big enough for 2 adults and 2 kids. Bed is big. Kitchen is well equipped. The beach infront of condo (no views, but less than 1 min away) is perfect for small kids. We will come back!
