Fechas de estadía: 25/12/18 - 3/1/19: el lugar de Mindy es exactamente como se describe. Un par de cosas que puedo agregar es que es muy privado y las paredes son gruesas. Además, la cama es muy cómoda. Tuve el mejor sueño de mi vida en esa cama. También estuvimos muy contentos con lo bien equipado que estaba este apartamento. Tenía refrigeradores rodantes, tablas de surf, y cada fuente de pan y cocina para cocinar. Quedamos muy satisfechos. Mahalo Mindy! Shawna D.

Great experience

The unit was clean and the view was incredible. The convenience of shops/restaurants/bar/beaches was perfect. The price was great also. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We spent one week in Maui and stayed at Royal Kahana. The apartment was well equipped and had a nice view towards the ocean. Unfortunatley it was not clean enough for our standards- dishes were still dirty in the kitchen cabinets and carpet was awfully dirty (not vacumed at all). For this we find the condo is overpriced.

Simple and Clean

Everything was clean and acceptable. This property was a great Value! Nothing special the condo was pretty outdated and the A/C did not work a single day out of the 6 nights my wife and I were there. But this was not the fault of the property managers. The A/C was out for the entire building. The communication was great with Chase N Rainbows. I have nothing but good things to say about them. Only constructive criticism i would give is; It would have been nice have been informed of the broken A/C, this was the primary reason I booked this condo, since it had Air Conditioning in the title. Never a Bad time in Maui and if you need a affordable place to stay, this is it. The view and people were great!

Pool and area are super..Now where we paid for #319...You save up for a once in a lifetime vacation. You do your research. I found this place thinking it was privately owned being a air bnb. Reviews were good until after I paid for it. Then I starting seeing worrying reviews.Hoping for the best we did not get it. As you walk in there is a really bad musty smell. Had to put car air freshners to take that away. Coffee machine was filthy. Shower looked like someone had taken a shower then left(just a rinse cleaned it). Now my wife and I were wondering what was cleaned. Turned down the bed and found dirt(not washed dirt but the kind you had to brush off). We had to do laundry...the washer had dirt all on the bottom and the dryer had sand and grit all in it. Notified Chasing Rainbows and they said they would contact the cleaners. Never heard back after that. If I hadn't paid 190 bucks to have cleaned I wouldn't be writing this review. If you don't mind wasting 190 then the good is the location is great, the water pressure is awesome and the view is great.

The worst Vaca rental this far

Rating Details: The property manager was very unhelpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was more than happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: My stay at the Royal Kahana #319 was horrible. I have to stay the hotel itself was good, but my room was awful. The toilet was leaking which had the bathroom floor wet when I arrived. After a long flight, I go to take a shower which was very uncomfortable because there was a ton of water underneath the surface. I felt like I was taking a shower on a water bed. The water must have been sitting for a while because a foil odor aroused during my shower. There were malfunctions with the washer in which I was not able to wash the bath towels. Since it was a weekend and the management office was closed I had to purchase towels just to bathe. Also, the wifi was horrible. My daughter couldn't even submit her homework due to us not having wifi. Lastly, the management company that assist me was very unprofessional. The owner needs to fire them quickly, like yesterday. I mean they were very unpleasant. I literally had a verbal altercation with one of the staff members due to my complaints.

Je devais avoir un stationnement inclus mais on m’a chargé à l’arrivée pour ma vignette de stationnement ! Les BBQ n’était pas facile à faire fonctionner … Sinon la vue était excellente , les lieux propre , la salle de bain aurait besoin d’être rafraîchi un peu !! Room 319 at Royal Kahana is disgusting!!!!

Royal Kahana room 319 was awful! The bathtub had a terrible odor because it had tub liner that had water underneath! It was disgusting! To take a shower you had to balance yourself because of the bubble of water between to tub and liner!!!! We called maintenance and apparently the owner is in no hurry to fix it! Very dangerous and it is a health and safety issue!

Great Hawaiian Retreat

The island isn’t huge so you can travel anywhere you want for day trips, but staying on the west side is in my opinion the best side. The room was clean and the staff were very helpful. Our sheets shrunk when we washed them and they brought us new ones that day. It was beautiful and quiet.

Only issue we had was the AC worked 3/4 of the time. There was about 2-3 nights out of our 8 that the AC would turn on and run but it never got cool where it was cooler outside. Also AC never got below 74...

Good Place to Stay in Kahana

It was a little small but we mostly just slept there. The bed was very comfortable. We had to call maintenance about the washer; David came right out, got the washer going again.

Good staff, the TV needed additional instructions - the controller had to turn on the TV to Cable interface before you could get any channels ....how that happens needs to be documented. Recommend they throw away half or more of the foods left by previous tenants. Keep seasonings and spices.

Paradise in Maui at a Great Price!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: What an excellent spot to stay in Maui! Walking distance to a few great spots to eat and a short drive to the busier parts of Lahaina. The room had everything we needed and the view of the ocean was excellent - we left the balcony door open at night so we could listen to the waves. This unit was truly the best deal on all of Maui and we would stay again in a heartbeat. Friendly staff, a beautiful pool and amenities, and a fraction of the cost of the busier resorts. Can't recommend it highly enough.

The property management said they'd have someone come fix it but never did even after multiple calls. They did offer laundry service and the first time was fine but 2nd time the laundry was returned unfolded and all crushed. One of the bathroom window vent handle was broken so you couldn't close the vent and the door kept slamming because of the wind. Finally, tried shutting it from the outside. The bathroom sink stopper was broken as well. One of the burner stove was also broken.
