The Nest, nestled on a serene canal that flows gracefully into the Gulf, is a tranquil oasis in the small, peaceful water community of Ozello. With 1 queen size bed and 1 sofa bed, it’s a perfect retreat for relaxation. Enjoy the soothing air-conditioned porch, where birdwatchers can revel in breathtaking views. This is a paradise for fishing, hiking, scalloping, and a dream come true for kayakers, with 2 single kayaks ready to launch from our ramp. Small boats with trailers are welcome to park on the property, with access to two community boat ramps and a marina just minutes away. Grill your day's catch on our gas or charcoal grill and embrace the simple joys of nature.

Beautiful, home! Very clean. Helpful owner. This area is peaceful, calm, quiet and very safe. Old Florida at her best. Right on the canal with a gorgeous view of unending marshlands. Everything you need at your fingertips and close to lots of attractions, too!

Great location for fishing. Near two boat launches. Can easily launch a small kayak from the property. Nicely decorated home with plenty of room for two. Lovely sunroom with water view. Enjoyed the outdoor deck, especially in the evening. Great location for star gazing. Very peaceful location yet not too far from town.

Great stay in Crystal River

We had a nice relaxing stay. The house was very clean and a great location for seeing the areas attractions. We really enjoyed watching the water birds that came in to eat at low tides.

Great spot

This was a great property. Lovely clean house, great spot on the water with kayaks! The one queen bed was soft, but there was no other place to sleep besides a couch that didn't pull out or a really small futon. If you and the person you are going with are cool to share a bed then this place is perfect.

Beautiful property

This was an amazing home to stay at for our annual scalloping trip! Super cute and very clean. The owners were very nice and super responsive. We would definitely stay here again!

Quiet and relaxing

We loved staying at this property. It had all the amenities, was clean and Kimberly checked in with us to make we had everything we needed. Never saw or heard the other neighbors, so it was quiet and relaxing, just what we were looking for. Would definitely stay there again.

Great place to stay!

Kimberley was very kind and helpful and the house is beautiful, just like the photos show. My guys loved being able to fish and kayak right out of the backyard. The kitchen was well-equipped and the bed was very comfortable. Even the neighbors were friendly!

Great relaxing place

My husband and I loved this place. It was very clean and check in was a breeze. We came to the area to snorkel with the manatees and to relax. This was a perfect place to relax. We enjoyed fishing in their backyard. The Backwater Fin restaurant Kim recommended was very good.

This is a quaint small house with lots of waterviews. Very large comfortable back sunroom with marsh and beach views. House is close enough to town and restaurants, and the local state parks and attractions.

Weekend getaway

Beautiful place to stay

We were in town for my son’s wedding and found this place for the week. I absolutely can say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed. The view was beyond beautiful, cottage was clean and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The host was awesome and I certainly plan to be back. AWESOME

Great FL Spot

This was such a unique spot just outside of Crystal River! It was close to everything but we really enjoyed being out of town and surrounded by water. The house was cozy and I truly appreciated all the little amenities like coffee, toiletries, and laundry products. We spent all of our time on the porch - it’s so relaxing and comfortable!

Relaxing Weekend Getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Thee Nest for an anniversary weekend getaway. The views were beautiful and the house was clean. We fished in the canal from the property and caught jack, speckled trout, ladyfish, and blue crab. The kayaks were fun and easy to take out on the open water. Can't wait to come back

A Sanctuary

This is a great little place away from town, peaceful & quiet. The screened side porch is the perfect spot for dinner or just relaxing. We enjoyed grilling seafood from the local market...kayaking...swimming with the manatee... and visiting Three Sisters Springs. This is old Florida at it's best!
