Esta espaciosa cabaña de 2 dormitorios y 1 baño en el lago Rouseau tiene todo lo que necesita para unas excelentes vacaciones. Traiga su equipo de pesca o simplemente pase tiempo relajándose. Se encuentra en el principal lago base grande de Crystal River. La conveniencia de la rampa para botes cercana hará que pescar sea fácil y divertido. También tendrá acceso directo al Golfo de México desde esa rampa. Andar en bicicleta o caminar por los senderos del área. Hay bicicletas, un kayak y una canoa para su uso. ¿Qué tal una ronda de golf después de un poco de pesca, así que no olvides tus palos? Hay varios cursos de campeonato cerca. El concepto abierto de esta casa es cómodo y excelente para el entretenimiento. Para apreciar realmente la cabaña, tómese un momento para ver nuestras fotos. Este es realmente un lugar para disfrutar al aire libre, pescar, andar en bicicleta, caminar, pasear en bote o simplemente ver la puesta de sol.

The house was wonderfully placed along the south shore of Lake Rousseau, with kayaks for our use. The house had two bedrooms, TV room, screen porch, and large kitchen-dining room combo. The furniture was good--the bed comfortable. We did not understand how to work the toaster oven and had trouble with roku TV but otherwise enjoyed the comforts and appliances of the house.

What a nice house directly on Lake Rousseau! We had coffee on the dock every morning and enjoyed a gorgeous sunset every night. Very quiet neighborhood that is truly beautiful. I don't know what the other comment was about not being able to put the boats in the water at this house, but, the canoe and kayaks can be launched directly from the dock. The kitchen was 'fully' outfitted with any appliance and utensil you could possibly need to prepare food with!! Lots to do in different areas around the lake and a short drive to Crystal River. This house has a whole house water filtration system with water softener and for drinking water!!!! What a bonus! Beds are super comfortable and the TV has many apps to watch whatever your favorite show is! The host Amy was so easy to accommodate any need we had... Thank you for a great vacation!!

The home was very nice with open living/dining area. We were able to connect to the Wi-Fi easily and enjoyed the back yard area with the beautiful views, sunsets and nature. We have a small dog who enjoyed the fenced in back yard. The location is ideal for activities in Crystal River as well as Homosassa. We look forward to another visit.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this beautiful 2-bedroom, 1-bath home on the lake! The property was spotless and well-kept, with plenty of great parking, which made arriving and unloading a breeze. The kitchen was amazing – fully stocked, modern, and perfect for cooking meals while enjoying time together.The lake views were stunning, and we loved spending mornings on the patio soaking in the peaceful scenery. The location was perfect for a relaxing getaway!Our host was fantastic – welcoming, attentive, and incredibly easy to communicate with. Their great communication made check-in and check-out seamless, and they went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed.We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and can’t wait to come back! Highly recommend this home for anyone looking for a lakeside retreat with all the comforts of home.

Lake Rousseau get away

The location was excellent, the lake serene and relaxing. The cottage pictures were probably taken a while ago, but still reflect a comfortable place to get away from busy schedules and demands of city life. We tried fishing from the dock, unsuccessfully. Didn’t use the kayaks and canoe available because there isn’t a ramp or launching pad, though there is the one a mile away, if you can strap the kayak to your car’s roof.

Wonderful Trip

House was extremely clean and Amy was wonderful. Despite past reviews complaining about sea grass overgrowth near dock had no problem catching a decent sized cat fish. Hughes net satellite isp is a bit lacking but not much can be done about that as it's a little remote. Thanks Amy for an awesome stay!

Beautiful lake house

The reservation and check-in process were super simple thanks to support from the owners. The home is right on the lake and has a dock and outdoor screened in sitting area as shown in the pictures. The inside of the house is vintage but very well maintained and very clean. It literally had anything and everything we needed for our one week stay.The house is located close to some pretty cool attractions as well, including rainbow Springs and the town of Crystal River.I highly recommend renting this house if you’re looking for lakefront access and the ability to fish coupled with easy access to local tourist destinations in the nature coast area.

Fantastic location

The house had everything you could possibly need . We loved the quiet and serene location ( no mosquitoes) and the proximity toGreat restaurant and countless rivers - you can paddle 7 different rivers all within 1 hour drive .Communication with the host was fantastic- thank you for a wonderful stay - we will be back

Amazing sunsets

We had a relaxing time!! The sunsets were absolutely stunning to watch, my girls were disappointed because they couldn’t swim in the water but were excited to see an alligator everyday, And gave us the opportunity to drive to other parts of Florida to check things out, Check in /out was easy, Amy had everything we needed to feel at home.

Lovely home on the lake

We had a great vacation stay at this home. Our dog loved the fenced in yard and our son loved the kayaks and canoe. We were on the lake fishing and paddling every day.

Cottage Like Stay with Perfect Lake Rousseau Views!

We love Lake Rousseau and this place makes enjoying it easy. The dock has kayaks, a rowboat and fishing poles available. We had fires most nights, the yard is fully fenced so perfect for our Bernedoodle. We're a family of three so plenty of space and the kitchen was beyond well stocked to try a few new recipes crockpot dishes. Washer dryer work great, strong shower water pressure. While an older home, everything has been maintained. 20-ish minutes to Dunnellon and Crystal River... we'd book again after a week stay!

Retreat from a rough summer

We stayed at this super cute property as I am recovering from knee surgery and we recently lost one of our dogs. We needed a change of scenery for ourselves and our other dog. This was a perfect reset out in nature. Reading, fishing, afternoon naps, and campfires. So thankful for this little piece of heaven.

Lovely getaway cottage

We chose to spend our 28th annni in this adorable cottage. Very welcoming and homey. Amy provides everything you could possibly need - except for the fish that allegedly live in the lake.😆 The view of the the sunsets was a welcome surprise. We had a minor glitch when we arrived but Amy was very responsive and helpful. Can’t complain about this place. Nice getaway!

Perfect stay for the lake

The house itself was fantastic. Very clean and well stocked. Communication with Amy was superb and any issues we had were promptly addressed. My only advice is that if your plan is to enjoy only the lake than this is a perfect house for your visit. Access to the gulf however is a different story. You have to go the the ramp just past the lake ramp and launch your boat into what I would describe as a large creek to access the main river leading to the gulf. This "creek" is very shallow at low tide and filled with rocks, logs, and stumps which made navigating it in my 20ft deck boat nearly impossible. I would suggest finding a different ramp if you plan on accessing the gulf. Overall the stay at the house itself was 5 stars!

Amy and Bill purchased the cottage became of its ideal location and Bill's love of fishing. Within a few years the grandchildren also took up the sport.. They enjoy the cottage with family and friends and wanted to share the home so other families could also make memories
